After reading her comments, I can only imagine someone in the Oklahoma legislature will bring out a bill that bans anyone who is transgender from being published by a newspaper. Yeah, I know, 1st amendment rights, but you see, these super-majority R states think we are sub-human without rights, and these states think they can just pass laws so they do not have to follow any Federal laws if they are at odds with their morals. 

 

The last time I had a recruiter from a hospital contact me about a job in Oklahoma, I politely told them that as a transgender woman, I would not entertain any position in Oklahoma. The recruiter never said one word back. I use the theory that if you permit it, you promote it. A few days ago I saw an article about how Oklahoma was experiencing a shortage of nurses, nurse practitioners, doctors, and physician assistants. Well, I hope they like life in their new country.
