A nephew of mine came out to me tonight.My 17 year old nephew Jesse said he had to come out to me yesterday.He was like me,figuring out who he really was.Realized he had a soft female side that likes to come out at times.Came out as a part time crossdresser to me dressed as his female side Missy.I told him this is awesome he found this and has support from me.Said he is welcomed to come with my good friends and I dressed as Missy Saturday night and he is going with us.My good transgender were told by me and going to welcome Missy in with open arms

Acceptance and friendship are a big part of the Trans communities that I am part of.  I have a queer grandchild who knows they will be welcomed by all of my younger Trans friends. Tell your new niece congratulations from a larger wonderful group I know about.  She has more friends than she knows.

Missy does have support from mom too.Dad is not,he does not accept Missy as a part time daughter.Missy is going to have my good transgender friends that understand her in her life too.

Having friends is important - tough to go through any part of discovering identity alone.  Good thing that this young person in your life has a balanced set of some different role models to look up to - parents, aunt, and new friends.  Hopefully it all goes well.

Said her genetic female friends already know,started with trying on their clothes and enjoyed it.Her male friends are cool about it too

I am,been in her life since she was born.She knows I went through it as well

At 17 I was in 'Boy Prison'......had to wait 50 years to get out.She's very lucky to have your support along with many others.All the best going forward.
