Ok, I can breathe again, the chemical rush to my head has ebbed, ummm I dunno. I shrug at most of these. All I know is, I waited 8 months for hair on my cheeks, never got any, shaved the cheek last month and now there are long hairs there.

The distance from thumb to forefinger end though? I want the rest of my junk lol.

Evan, MOST ftms don't get facial hair there before 8 months. Actually, it can take a lot longer. If you really want to rail against science with personal experience, try shaving only one side. If that side gets considerably hairier than the other, you'll have anecdotal evidence to the contrary.

Yay I'm not alone then(on my 8th month now). My doctor/endocrinologist didn't really give me time lines for anything. I've started my admans apple, a tiny bit of muscle mass and face reshape but pretty much no faical hair cept when you look really close.

As for the Myths...lol @ the oyster one.

I definitely have some facial hair, just not enough to grow a full beard. There is enough hair to upset my mom if I don't shave while I'm visiting home.

My facial hair is TOTALLY asymmetrical. The left side is way better off than the right.

Shaving does make beards thicker in one way. Hairs don't all grow at the exact same rate. If you have a beard and trim it, it makes the beard look thicker because it evens up the hair.

I have to shave a couple of times a week if I'm going to campus. My adolescent stubbery outs me because students know I am old enough that I should have a full beard, if I wanted to grow one.

I really wanted to be able to grow a passable goatee before I have to go on job interviews. *tear*

Hey as for the facial hair thing it is genitic. I have a full beared and have had one since my 1st year on T. When it first started to grow I grew more on the left than the right. bio guys do as well. A friend of mine was able to tell me on my 7th month of T that I would connect and that it should grow in full. All he did was look at my face really close. So at about a year i let it all grow it took about a month and it was full. Thin but all there. I wopuld shave only twice a week and still had smooth face. Now after 2yrs and 4months on T It grows everyday. I have a 5 oclock shadow before the end of the day. I have a full beared in 4 days. So now i have to shave everyday. I was telling my wife how I hate shaving now, she told me to get over it 'cause that's what i wanted. Anyhow now cause I have to shave so much I spend a lot of money on shaving gel, razors and after shave. Just resently started to get razor bumbs so I have to exfoliate now. FUN!. Anyway I had no Idea I would be soo hairy, every where. I'm still growing hair places like my ears and now the inside of my arms, and back. They say it takes up to 5yrs on T. Well its been a little over 2, how much more hair can I guy grow?

You know what I wouldn't change a thing!

I feel like abit of a freak now lol Im only a baby in T time and about 3 months of T Im growing hair on upper lip and hair on the bottom of my chin gowing down my throat Im having to shave it off about twice a week cos its proper black hair and even shaved I get then shadow on my lip and chin and I dont want a beard I want side burns!

Oh well Im not moaning it helps me pass better, how long does it take to get side burns grow in?

The guys in my family have full heads of hair, but I've never seen them with a full beard before. Maybe theirs just doesn't grow fast or they shave everyday.
