Mtf Map Project

For those of you that don't know, I have started a map for the MTFs similar to the one for the FTMs. Presently, we have 5 people on the map! Woo hoo.

To view the map, go here: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?f=q&sou....194763&z=9

Yes, I know it's.. long.

The map can be viewed by the public, but only I (or anyone I appoint) can edit it. I have decided to do it this way to prevent people from vandalizing it. There are two ways you can get on the map:

1. Send an email to mtfmapproject (at) gmail (dot) com

This is the standard way. Just send your location (city or nearest big city) and either a name, nickname, or anonymous. In other words, you can be anonymous, or you can be named. Presently, three of the five are anonymous. Then you'll pop up on the map.

2. Send a PM to me with the same information.

I prefer the first because then everything stays together, and if anything should happen it's all in the same place.

Also, this map isn't getting very much attention. Unlike the FTM map, it doesn't really have its own page. The Google page doesn't get much traffic. If you have a blog or website and you are willing to stick the map on there, just send an email to that address, and we can stick a copy of the map on your website and hopefully get more traffic.

Just a few details to help things go smoothly on the back end:

Email: mtfmapproject (at) gmail (dot) com

To be added to the map: Send an email with the subject "add" (no quotes) to the above email with your location, and a name, nickname, or simply anonymous.

To embed this map on your webpage: Send an email with the subject "embed" (no quotes) with the address of your website.

To ask a question: Send an email with the subject "help" (no quotes) with your question.

Hey everybody,

We are an International site and I only see a handful of markers and they are all in the good ole US of A.

Is everyone else in the world waiting for the fearless Jendar to be the firt to call in fro outside of the US?

And for all of us here, only 6 in the US - I know you are out there, I talk to all of you.

Love ya,

Sally

I am so happy that I am on there but in a few years I will be moving internationally so I will drop a line for that.

Great idea April! I sent you my info. When I move in a few years (who knows where I could end up... wherever my bf wants to take me XD) I'll have to give you my new info but meh.

Well, we now have 13 people on the map, and one of them is international. Google says the map has 62 views, so it's beginning to get some traffic.

There you go, April is a doer!

Lizzy asked a question, a lot of us just replied but April decided to do something about it so we should all join in and get our pins in there!

Nice job April!

Love ya,

Sally

wow there is a trail leading down the eastern cost of the United States and what almost looks like a sideways y across the mid west. This is like looking at clouds in a grass field. :D

congrats :)

and yeah blogs are a really good idea for traffic, judging by the fact that the ftm site was made by an ftm with a blog, lol.

Yes, I am happy to see the mtf also have their own map. :)

You want to be on it?

Here's a screenshot of the US section of the map. You can see that sideways Y starting in Iowa and Florida, and it stretches all the way down to California.

I don't think its a good idea. I already marked myself on the FTM map.

We could make a separate Laura's Playground map. :)

Maps are fun!!!!

I sent mail using my real name XD

Is it really such a good idea to use your real name? At the very least please change it to an anagram as a matter of personal safety.

up to me.. I'm completely out where I live.. and I have the second most common birth name for 1966. In a town of quarter of a million people I survive and live open and out. If the psychos want me they know where to find me already.

Alright just be safe. :D I'm sorry if my worrying out loud came off as harping.

Only a first name is used on the map, so I don't think it will turn into a safety issue.

Oh ok :D

Yeah I'm a worrier, such is my curse in life.

There is another woman with the same name as me just down the road.. about 20 doors away. It's not like I gave out anything really. because when you look at the map I live in the borough of Wigan.. but not in Wigan town.. one of the outlying districts. Part of the RLT in the UK is being honest about yourself.. 100% in the identified gender role at all times.. or it's a pretty big fail.. As you can see from my other posts today I pass very well and I have no fear about being seen out in public..

Good luck on selling your wife on the idea of a different car. This could be tougher than negotiating with a dealership.   My wife agreed to my taking profit out of the company to buy a used truck once we found out the 2014 F-250 I currently had with 267,244 miles on it was needing new torque converter solenoids and the DEF system is chocking up. We bought a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, Duramax 4X4, with 163,000 miles. LTZ Off Road package, power mirrors, chrome step boards, rear camera, exhaust brake, and air lift bags on the rear suspension. It belonged to a friend of mine who also owned a mobile training business.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

At the other end and in our favor is Julia Serano's analysis of the Cass Report Fiasco   https://juliaserano.medium.com/the-cass-review-wpath-files-and-the-perpetual-debate-over-gender-affirming-care-8f56d0c4d0c6   Serano is a Trans Woman and a molecular biologist herself, guess whose evaluation I honor.

That's great @MaeBe hopefully the company will offer your wife a moving package with the new job position. That's how I was transferred from the St. Louis Metro area to the Indianapolis Metro area. The company covered all the moving expenses, as well as a three week stay in an extended living hotel while we chose an area to build our current home.   Good Luck and make it a happy adventure.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

@Birdie is the day care in charge of your MyChart, Hospital, and Doctors as to how you are cared for? There has to be some way to prove that you were born intersex and have a choice on your chosen pronouns. I wish we could do more for you. Keep pushing forward.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

The Republicans are not interested in compromising.  Johnson will be gone for compromising unless the Dems help him out.
    • Abigail Genevieve
Biden campaigned as the master negotiator, able to push legislation through Congress.   Whatever bill a Dem president, a Dem Senate, and a Rep House can agree on might be  more palatable than a bill with a R president, R Senate and R House given present attitudes. They are throwing away a chance.
    • Ivy
A bill like this would never get through congress, even if it were allowed to be voted on.

It was the only appliance that was not replaced when I bought the house.Plus I have the phone number for the scrap metal hauling guy that stops at where I work at.Called him and it will be his once I get the new stove.Told me give me a call once it is out and he will come to pick it up

Ha, that's funny - I swear this is the one I used to use in high school to get around school blockers and play games. 😅🤦‍♀️   Though I'd be wary of using a free VPN today, if your only intent is bypassing censorship, I guess it works. Proton VPN also has a free tier with a limited selection of countries/servers. I feel more comfortable recommending them as they actively try to fight censorship with new evolving VPN protocols, and they protect your privacy. They are also directly funded by their paying customers. So there is really no downside to using their free tier over another free VPN that may not have the same goals/values.

That sounds pretty accurate. I'm just glad I don't use Windows anymore, as I basically consider Windows itself a virus/malware. Backups can absolutely save you from some types of malware like ransomware. However it's ideal to just not get infected by having smart browsing habits. It's been said, and very accurately so, that the best antivirus is you - even the best antivirus isn't 100% accurate in detecting bad stuff, if you go out looking for that stuff or browse carelessly.   I guess if you don't care and/or don't have sensitive data on your PC, then that's fine I suppose. I personally care a lot - personal accounts, private messages, and even my very presence on this site aren't necessarily things I want to be public knowledge. 🤓🫠

Yes he is. Sorry it has taken so long. One sick kid and the other has needed my attention more than usually.
    • MaeBe
Sure is! Is he good with the kiddos?

Once again the Biden admin ignores Congress and issues a regulation that can be quickly changed. It would be much wiser if they worked a bill through Congress that became law.
