I Feel Like I Should Be Female Instead. But Yet I Wish I Looked Male Enought O Have A Girlfriend :( Confused!

Hi. let me tell you guys a little about myself. im an 18 year old male intersex person. Im pretty sure its Klinifelters Syndrome to be exact. Basically my body looks female accept i have no breasts and a penis. These changes tarted happening to me my second to last year of high school and before then i could get girlfriends. Now because of how my body looks, im worried females are not attracted to me anymore. Also ever since i was a child i remember always wanting a vagina. Somehow I always felt like i should be female and not male. Im so considering becoming a full woman as i grow older and eventually get the money, but my brother, sisters, and parents would look differently at me. Its not my fault Im like this! I just wish i could look either all male or all femal, so i dont have to look like something in between! :(

My social life is good and have many friends, but none of them know this truth i have told you guys. So confused. I really wish i could look like a regular mal so i could get girlfriends again :(...anyway thanks for reading and Anything you guys wanna say, just feel free!!!

Actually, I have sympathy for you, but in a wierd twisted way? I'm originally female bodied but definately male and desperately needing to and thankful at being blessed enough to be changing to be male in body, but at times think "sigh**If I could've been ok in the female form how many more female dates I could be certain of". Being female bodied is in no way a barrier to having dates with females. In this day and age its very easy. Being trans though....hard. Of course I'm saying that without having really tried :P Maybe we both just need to try? Welcome.

Well, first, being feminine in appearance won't cause girls to not be attracted to you. Even before my transition started, I was fairly effeminate in appearance. One "girl-friend" (as opposed to "girlfriend") of mine says it's too bad I'm only attracted to guys, cuz the way I understand girls heads, I'd be a hit with girls. See, you CAN have your cake and eat it too! (A terrible analogy, cuz I think there may be a sexual pun buried in there somewhere.)

As for your potential transition -- either to crossdressing or to perhaps something else -- keep us posted on what happens. Let's talk. I've found counseling to be VERY helpful, cuz it gives me a forum to really dig down and figure out what's going on inside me.

Remember your personality is your greatist attribute, work on that and I'm sure you'll find people that will like you for who you are. As for your looks pick clothing you feel comfortable in, there's alot of different styles out there. Experiment a little, there's no harm in that ;)

This is such a big thing with all of us, isn't it?

I mean, our orientation is all over the spectrum and not just your everyday, whitebread M-F and F-M combos!

I am still loving my wife, although I'm MTF and I have no idea if my sexual orientation will change over time! Some say that on Estrogen it will swing, but I know others that say not really...what to believe?

I don't really know, but I have had a male looking at my chest while talking to me and I'm very small ... I was dressed rather gender neutral although my T shirt did show my assets...I don't see what the attraction was..but, I guess that's not up to us, is it?

We'll be attracted to whom we're attracted to and visa-versa!

HUGGS!

As many here have said, being like we are - we are all over the place. You will definately need to get into therapy with a gender dysphoria specialist. There are several ways to be intersexed, and even if you aren't there are several ways to have the wrong body-mind connection. It is more importand to find your comfort level.

That said. I would suggest you just take a deep breath - relax - and listen to your heart. At your age, all sorts of things are going on - and you are thinking about your future with someone. Your sexual orientation can also be all over th place, but your posting seems to suggest you are right now very interested in girls - and feel like one at the same time.

That is confusing to say the least. Again a therapist can work with you on this - and that is most everyone's recommendation. However, if one is not available, you must just learn to be at ease and accept yourself as you are - ask others to do the same. Evenually everything will work out one way or the other.

Just some thoughts.

You should try to find a (gender) therapist if possible. They'll be able to help you sort out your feelings. Personally, I think you are a lesbian.

I agree with this. Personality (I can't think of any exceptions at the moment), in my opinion, is definitely anyone's greatest attribute. Actually, I think being "good" is instead, but personality would be a not too distant 2nd.

This is a very old thread and hasn't been posted to for two years. I'm a guy, 60, masculine in appearance and attracted to women, but also feel a bit feminine myself. I've been wearing women's panties for years, and most of my clothing is androgynous appearing women's. You could only tell by noting the buttons or zippers are on the left. The thought of having an orchiectomy and scrotectomy is enticing. Would I still be able to have an erection and an orgasm then? How about if I replaced my penis with something resembling a vagina in appearance? I'm new here, so have too many questions. I'll continue reading the forums more in hopes of finding answers.

Society is preserved by passing on proper roles for people, which works for the 90+ percent that it works for.   We were all taught from an early age that breaking out of the classification was a shameful thing, even when, actually, it is not.

I'm probably showing my age.  I haven't looked at a guest count in a long time.  Doing FB and staying off forums for a while.  Previous forum use had fewer bots if any and guests were actual people, mostly, unlike today.    Any AIs or bots struggling with GD are welcome.  I would love to read your introduction.

I've seen this on a lot of forums tbh. That's how a lot of content ends up on internet archives. You've got loads of bots scanning the site at all times and archiving it. Forums are actually nice (in comparison to social media) in that the guest count gives you a pretty good idea of how actively the site's content is being archived. Basically just don't post anything you don't want archived.

Kids are resiliant with therapy and strong support ;-)    They were all elementary age when their dad died and are teens now, and how they've grown and developed as young people, already, takes my breath away.   I'm working on communicating changes clearly and without shame, which is difficult basically all the time because of feeling guilty over doing gender "wrong" for so long. Working on that myself! <3

Allow me to add that people should think twice about posting pictures of themselves, with the facial recognition software that is out there.  Those in stealth or who are not fully out may discover they are suddenly and unwillingly fully out in ways they wish had not happened.

Funny how when i read the topic name i thought you were asking about the study of plants and animals.  I'm a bit into that as a farmer at va time when a cell phone makes plant  for insect identification easier than it has ever been.    Now on to your topic.  I don't farm in the nude.  I have wondered at whether i would skinny dip as i did as a kid without thought of how my body might affect others.  The effects of hormones makes me different from the average person and perhaps i'm "neither fish nor fowl".  I would certainly depend on who my fellow passengers on that cruise would be.   Hugs,   Charlize

This is also a relatively small forum and it can take a long time, seemingly, for someone to get around to replying to a post.

I am also pretty sure that several of them are folks who are "trans curious".  Sometimes folks who are trying to find their own identity, are attracted to trans folks or who are simply interested in the trans community.   There may also be some who wish to do us harm which is why ......... I've just learned to smile figuring "i'm on candid camera".   I'm sure many of our younger members never experienced that show so my age is showing.   Hugs,   Charlize

Most of those "guests" are web bots from China, Indonesia, France etc. looking us over. They are mostly benign.  All they can see or gain access to are the general forums.  Members should be careful not to post anything that could readily identify themselves such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. They do not have access to our gallery, blogs or private messenger. They seem to haunt all forums. Not just us. I should add that they can make us known across the internet. That's how prospective members find us. Google would be a good example.

Heck I didn't even know they could go up that high! I just have a four burner and one to keep stuff warm. What kind of pies did you make?

That's all the matters.   Well me and the wife rode to Perkins for breakfast. As we were waiting for our food. Being it is Sunday There are a few gentleman in suits, my guess from church. I think to myself. I hope I never have to wear one of those monkey suits ever again. Now a nice dress maybe.   Hugs,   Kymmie

From time to time I've looked at 'Who Is Online" and I have consistently noticed that members are ALWAYS outnumbered by Guests by a wide margin, sometimes, like a minute ago, by more than a 10:1 margin.  I have never seen that before on an internet forum.  It can be explained partly by the nature of what this is, that it draws the curious and they are certainly welcome to read here, and to join, but it leaves me with a feeling of being in a fishbowl.  I wonder who ARE these people?  Donald Trump, is that you? Biden? Sinwar? Putin?  We can only guess.
