I left the title unspecific because there are 3 completed series and 1 about to start. So does anyone like the show(s) or seen anything?

I personally love SG-1. I have seen every episode, can quote them, and in most cases tell which episode a quote is from. Season 10 is signed by the actor who plays Baal, the ark of truth poster is signed by Ben Browder (Cameron Mitchell), Christopher Judge (Teal'c), Robert Cooper, and Martin wood (Producers and Directors). I saw the red carpet premier on the San Diego Midway (That aircraft carrier museum). I have authentic concept artwork from the first episode in season 7 and a schematic drawing of the DHD including measurements.

Yes I am a SG-1 nerd...

Not just any SG-1 nerd - an SG-1 nerd with a nifty collection!

I didn't see that many but I liked the movie and when they made the series I watched when I could - big fan of Anderson!

I also loved Dr. Jackson and Teal'c, Sam was cool but I kind of lost interest after O'Neill (Anderson), Jackson and General Hammond were gone.

I was a fan of the actor Don S. Davis who played the General and was very sorry when his part was reduced to recurring and even sorrier to here of his death last year.

He was an actor with an impressive resume including roles on the West Wing and as Agent Scully's father on the X-Files but his work with Richard Dean Anderson began when he was Dana Elcar's stunt double on MacGyver.

He was most often cast as an army officer or authority figure because of his appearance - he just looked like he was in charge.

Too much trivia!

Love ya,

Sally

I am completely OBSESSED with this series! All of them! I watched SG-1 since the first day it came on, and then they had Atlantis, and I was in heaven with a full 2 hours of Stargate every Friday. I suppose you have seen the series movies as well? When Universe finally starts, I'll finally feel complete again... well at least in my gotta have Sci-Fi way! ;)

Yeah... total Stargate Geek! *swoons over Richard Dean Anderson*

Have you checked out Warehouse 13 yet? I has promise, hope they keep developing it. Oh, and Eureka is also one of my absolute favs! My TV pretty much never leaves the "SyFy" channel. :P

Forgot to mention I ALMOST....ALMOST... had RDA's autograph at the Continuum premier. He had my ticket and pen and almost signed, but then gave it back to me and said that he couldn't because it would cause a back up...

In my personal opinion the original stargate cast, meaning the actors, are arguably the nicest well known people in the TV/Movie business. Amanda Tapping has a strong fan base and when asked for autograph will most definitely give one to anyone. Everyone I have met says she is so friendly.

Don S. Davis's death came just a few days before the continuum premier and when he was shown at the headquarters during the gouald attack (sorry belated spoiler warning) Everyone just stood up and applauded, right in the middle of the movie... :)

I had been invited to the friend/family alpha testing for stargate worlds. Due to buggy ness I never got past the end user license agreement. The told me they would contact me at the beginning of 2009 with details for beta. It is now 8/3/09 and I haven't received 1 email.

happy trans birthday! I can't speak personally on the subject, but I hope hormones bring you the changes you're looking for <3

That’s super healthy, to see that something that becomes common has less effect on you and that you are able to decipher these feelings.   Sadly, this trend tends to only deaden good feelings as we tend not to let bad feelings attenuate the same way.   I have noticed less euphoria, but still feel the dysphorias that I have. Sometimes the good sneaks in and reminds me, but often time it’s just me seeing myself in the mirror and being comfortable about what I see when embracing my realized self. I may not get the same buzz I once did, but I don’t feel incongruous when looking at a more “drab” reflection.    Wishing you strength, you are amazing!

Congratulations! and Happy Trans Birthday @LittleSam! That is such a BIG milestone.  I can still remember walking out of my clinic with my first HRT presciption.  I was on Cloud-9.  Wishing you all the best in the start of your new Journey!

maebe thank you I try to be. I thank God for blessings, try to share them, beg forgiveness for my shortcomings n vow to try to do better...2 priests have said no, God doesn't condemn you just for being trans...but apparently evangelicals do   I shall vtry dear thank you

Meet him at the being good to others part of Christianity. At the heart of it, there are excellent tenets of the faith. Those that condemn are judging, Jesus would have us be selfless; stone casting and all that. Are you a good person? Are you putting good into the world? If your gender is an issue for God, let God judge. In the mortal realm, let your actions be heard.

Let’s stick to cite-able fact. Most of my posts have been directly in relation to LGBTQ+ rights as it pertains to P2025 and I have drawn direct links between people, their quotes, and their agenda. I have made reference to the cronyism that P2025 would entail as well, by gutting, not cutting, broad swathes of government and replacing it with “conservative warriors” (I can get you the direct quote, but rest assured it’s a quote). All this does is constantly force the cogs to be refitted, not their movement. To say that agencies have directly defied a President is a bit much, the EPA did what Trump told them to do at the direct harm to the environment, the department of agriculture did the same by enacting the administrations forced move to KC which decimated the USDA.      How about Betsy DeVoss for Education? Or Bannon for anything? What about the revolving Chief of Staff position that Trump couldn’t stay filled? Or the Postmaster General, who did much to make the USPS worse?   Let’s not mix politics with racism, sexism, or any other ism. Because Trump made mainly white, male, appointments—many of them not, arguably, people fit for service—or unwilling to commit to term. I can argue this because, again, he’s up for election and will do what he did before (and more of the same, his words).   Please delineate how the selected diversity appointments have negatively affected the US, other than being black, women, or queer? Representation matters and America benefits when its people are inspired and empowered.
