Up To The Largest Diameter Dilator Today

Today, I began using my largest diameter dilator, the one I get to use from here on out, unless I goof off and lose some size. I traded a dot of depth for the diameter, and while it is tight, I have learned to rotate it past the ouchy spots. I have a few nerves that are hinting at pleasure in the months to come, but the bad ouches are over. I may get over my intention to remain celibate at this point, but even the possibility is a far cry from what my thoughts were two weeks ago.

I was really supposed to be here last week, but I developed a yeast infection, and had to wait for it to clear up to increase my size up to the middle sized "boy friend". He is history now, and only about a day overdue per the instruction sheet. I remember yeast infections in my ex-spouse and my two daughters, and now I really know what they went through there. They did not laugh at me too hard when I told them about it!!!

I am still happy with my decision to have SRS, and I know it was right for me. The pain though has been real, and is part of the price I am paying, but worth it in my mind. I am starting to put the pain behind me, and the sharpness of it has dulled in what I really feel, also time is starting to collapse in on itself, and I cannot put time to things like I did on my first three days.

Its a bigger decision than we can grasp at the time we make it.

Hi Vicky,

Lead the way, dearest!

I don't know what I'll be saying postop, but have really thought about that last line: "It's a bigger decision than we can grasp at the time we make it." I made the decision 40 years ago. Made it again with more conviction last summer as the letters were completed. And now, standing on the doorstep, wavering with nervous second thoughts... I'll stick to my decisions because I know they were valid, will live life forward without regret. But, (I seem to find that word too often) what costs? What else will I know that I don't know now? Oh what the heck? Full speed ahead, and damn the torpedoes!

So, making the full circle on the thought. Largest size dilator / torpedo? Those things scare the dickens out of me!

Love, Megan

Yes damn the torpedos!!! Don't worry Kiddo. I'm the little PT boat at your side, I will protect your cruiser. If anything tries to submarine you, *way giggle* I have the depth charges ready. Stay on board and don't jump ship!

Like I said gray is my to die for color! LOL! Keep your colors flying, you will have a victory! Hug. JodyAnn

PS---Vicky did! She is relaxing on her desert island with hunky men to give her dates. That and she doesn't even need to put up with frivelous small talk too. Giggle. JA

Wise words indeed.

Thank you again for your wise words. I hope Jody doesn't sink anyone's submarine if the torpedoes are needed. I am on the fence but seem quite content there for the time being. I spent so long just finding the courage to do what i've done. There is also the fact that i am one of a couple. I am grateful for the posts as they help me better understand myself and others.

I may someday damn the torpedoes, especially the ones that hurt.

Hugs,

Charlie

Sounds like it won’t be long before we all will be hearing about orgasms and how much fun dilating has become. That’s always a popular topic.

I don’t remember loss of depth with wider diameter, but I guess it varies.

Perhaps, since you been so recently thru it, you might share how you dealt with the yeast infection since treatment of such is fraught with many potholes in both the detection and especially treatment in post-operative MTF. Others could benefit.

Its a bigger decision than we can grasp at the time we make it.

Sounds like a good topic to elaborate on if you will. Perhaps a different topic altogether.

During COVID lockdowns without any place to go, some neighborhood buddies and I would play Life for hours (imagine a bunch of middle aged men playing that game, it was a hoot - all sorts of 'house rules')... anyways, as much as I could get away with it, I would choose a pink peg to represent myself... sometimes even had a female name to go with it... this was before I even really pondered whether or not I was trans ...   I was very determined to do this ... so interesting to look back and see all the threads pointing me to where I am now, though it has come as such a surprise as well...   Easy

Thank you all for the helpful responses... I realize some of HRT is for mental health -- like I said above I really am enjoying the ride so far in that regard!   Guess there is a part of me that wants to have my cake and eat it too. I want to have a nice feminine shape within reason for my age (fat distribution - you can kick in whenever you want!!). Yet, I am still not out to family, so I want it to be subtle enough as I go along that I can cover tracks when necessary ... Not the ideal situation but it is what it is ... maybe when family realizes that this is not making me into a monster, they will come around to some of it. I can hope, right?   More and more, I just want to look in the mirror and see a female body staring back at me ... I want female clothing that I put on to look like it fits me to a T... (and by T, I don't mean testosterone, lol)...    EasyE

Good afternoon M.A.   Welcome to Transgender Pulse Forums, I think you'll find that there are a lot of us who had their first therapist reconsidering our story and recommended us to gender or LGBTQIA specific therapist. I made my first therapist cry after asking me what was my worst experience or memory. She was not prepared for the can of worms I brought to the couch. My second therapist is a gem, she's my age and knows how to work with my thoughts.    My two kids were also involved in the arts programs in school one in theater, the other combined art and modern music.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Welcome.   This can be a good sounding board and a place to say things you otherwise could not. Be yourself. Find out what that is.   Abby

I'm wearing a white t shirt and jeans.  The t-shirt is softer than a man's and slightly girly.  Feeling kinda pretty.

That's very common in internet forums and it is hard not to take it personally sometimes.   You might post "bump" with a smiley face to bring it to the top of the stack, or you might use the @ feature if there are certain people you would really like to have comment on it, and say something like Dear Abby, I would really like your input on this.  Please take a minute and respond.  Thanks!!!

The same for me... That's exactly were MmIndy came from. I started choosing female skins as soon as they became available in the few games I played.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Something else I noticed @Ladypcnj Since I use the Unread tab, I don't see threads I've read again until someone replies to it, or the author adds something.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Good morning @Ladypcnj   Some posts get lost in the busy times here. It also maters how people navigate the site. Some only look at their notifications, or tap the All Activity tab which shows them thread they've commented on. (how I see it)... I on the other hand use the Unread tag under Activity. I don't think people ignore post as much as they get caught up reading threads they've already been active in.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
