What's the most annoying song you ever had stuck in your head?

During the festive winter events, I had a song about a witch doctor stuck in my head. Unfortunately, it quite offended one of my characters, so although I don't know its name I'm not going to look it up again.

Muh-num-ma-nuh. Doo-do-da-do-do!

Actually, that one's not so bad. Ones I really hate to have going in my head include:

"Mickey" by Toni Basil

"Coconut" by Harry Nilsson

"Jump Around" by House of Pain

"500 Miles" by the Proclaimers

"Da Doo Ron Ron" by the Crystals

Ones that I don't mind having in my head and like to share with others so they can have them stuck in their minds while sitting at red lights:

"Iko Iko" by the Dixie Cups or Dr. John's version

"I Put a Spell On You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins (however, his "Constipation Blues" is another matter.)

"Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash

"16 Tons" by Tennessee Ernie Ford

"The Mess Around" by Ray Charles

"Brass Monkey" by the Beastie Boys

Start singing, Kids!

anything that repeats the same lines constantly.... its like they couldn't think of anything else to fill out the song so they repeat themselves, as if it lends power to the statement.

That really annoying jingle from those Vonage commercials, the one that went "Who who, who who who. Who who, who who who. . . ." and on and on. It is originally from the very awful and talentless group (in my humble opinion), "The 5, 6, 7, 8s" - a Japanese (I think) band who try to fashion themselves as 50's singers.

*chokes n gags*

I was going to say that. It was popular for a week or two and m y wife, pop diva that she is, played it ad nauseum. Which for me meant before the end of the first time. Blegh!

Shoot me now!

I can dance by Phil Collins.

That stupid popcorn song in the seventies really drove me up a wall but I think it was an instrumental.

I'm too sexy for my shirt! I forgot about that one, but if you aren't really paying too much attention to it, kinda has a nice melody. Think about it Lizzy. I'm too...you see?

For you older peeps

MacArthur Park possibly the worst pop song ever made, one that made the charts anyway. Richard Harris sang it (Yuppers THAT Richard Harris, the actor)

"someone left a cake out in the rain * and I don't think I can take it * and it took so long to bake it * I'll never have that recipe agaaaaain - ohhhh nooooooooooo...".
