This is my latest work in oils. I would like your input about how you feel when you look at it. How would you describe it? I have a rather thick skin so even art critics can sound off. There was not much I could do about the glare from the light at the top and the easle shadow and this is the sharpest picture I could take. Sorry! White box in lower left is where I signed it. I blocked it out for some privacy reasons.

Wow Nicole you do really nice work. I just want to put my chin in my hand and amire the picture. Beautiful colors, calming, longing looks, like I wish I could be standing there instead of trapped in this world. There are some really neat places inside you, glad you have the talent to let them out. Hug. Jody

Thank you Jody. All of that is from my minds eye. That one is going to the surgeon who changed my life recently. I plan on giving it to him this Monday.

the band of light (or energy, energy is a more exciting word) thats heading towards earth is the most successful part of the painting. perhaps if you abstracted it more. or focused more on just one element in the composition. because the mountains are fantastic too. find more focus.

Your paintings are strong and certainly show the development of a style and a theme you are working with. I would recommend that you get a piece of flat black fabric to use as a backdrop for your work when you make your pictures. I learned that trick from a pro who was doing my work. If you do that and set up in a darkened room you can then use spots or flash to remove virtually all of the sheen that the light causes . It has helped me a lot and my work is mostly on glass that has a very reflective character.

Hugs,

Charlie

Here is a painting I did last summer. I think I have strange things going on in my mind! LOL Thank you Megan. This painting is called WORLDS. I am trying to pin down my style. So your input is valuable.

Nicole,

I like both of your paintings. You are a gifted artist.

I like the first one with the firey golden ladder up to heaven and all of the souls [ in the flame trails].

But, the second one is breath-taking. It's like being drawn into ones soul through their eye. I give this one the blue ribbon.

You say that you have other paintings, have you considered doing a showing? just a thougt. Maybe even posting them in your gallery so that we could admire ech and every one of them.

Hi Bulldog. I might put them in the gallery here. It is neat to see how people feel when they look at my paintings. It is all about feelings really. The worlds painting you really like is on my wall right now and earmarked for my cousin. But before I send it I want it reproduced to canvas. That painting you see is a representation of me letting go. The two dark areas in the (the one to left and the one almost center) have special significance to me.

The whole idea behind every painting I do is to create something no one has ever seen before in a scene. To calm the person viewing it and to put a slice of my soul on canvas. I plan to produce several paintings a year for the rest of my life.

Now here is the kicker, I used to oil paint and draw when I was a child. Upto about 12 years old. Then I snapped and broke inside. I had a tramatic event that changed every thing, then I put down the paint brush for nearly 30 years. Once I resolved things, my identity, and made peace with the life, what you are seeing is a result of years of pent up pain and resolve. Why do I paint alien landscapes? Because that is where I went in my mind to escape this world when I a child and prevented from being me. It was my safe spot.

I hope that make sense. Perhaps it is time to write my bio? Maybe I will write something today.

Wow Nicole, I love it! I haven't seen many paintings done with more of an astronomy point of view. The use of the black background of space really brings out the colors used in planets, as well as the subtle coloring in the blooming effect (in the second painting). I am really impressed you're very talented!

Nicole,

I find your paintings very soothing yet it allows ones mind to try and fathom the true meaning of the art. One is drawn into the inner most depths of the particular piece and that is the facet that makes one an artist. To create something so different that no one else can clone it- it is all yours and yours alone;much like an authors work.

I have no idea of what your tramatic incident was, but I can tell you one thing, it has molded you into a truly gifted artist.

You said that you might begin writing your bio today. That's great. You never have to publish it unless you want to that's the good thing about it. But, on the other had, it might very well make an excellent book. And, finding an excellent book on Ts/Tg is very difficult. Besides, the more works that are published from our community and made available to the public is a step forward in the publics understanding of GID and the many difficult issues that each one of us must endure in this life's journey. There is a new publisher, Transgress Press that is actively seeking TS/TG manuscripts. I have been in contact with them and they seem to be very professional.

Take care and keep on painting

Mike

Hi Nicole,

I have been trying to find the time to sign in and respond to your artwork.

Wow! Very nice! :D

I am in awe of the amount of energy which emanates from your work! Truly awesome!

I enjoy the mystical/cosmic theme.. is that what you'd call it? I don't want to mis-label your themes, ever!

(I also love to see the NASA pictures posted each day of "space.")

I want to spend more time with these images as soon as I can. They grab my interest, for sure!

I am so glad you are free to paint again! Cause for celebration! :groupwavereversed:

Thanks so very much, Nicole, for sharing your work with all of us! :friends:

With Sincere Appreciation,

Brad

Thank you Brad. Perhaps they are mystical? Some one said that they think that my mind is very abstract and that is why I find solutions to problems others might miss. If that makes sense. I am not sure but I am sure if some one could wander through my mind they would either be freaked out or at peace with the landscapes I see.

Yes, "Mystical." Nice! :D

Your mind works in ways which allow you to see some landscapes others may or may not see.

Your mind works in ways which allow you to fathom some concepts others may or may not be able to fathom.

You think outside of the box. You also likely "experience" outside of the box, so to speak. Just a guess on my part.

This is also at least some of why you can fathom, and enjoy, Michio Kaku's work, too.

This is quite a gift. You may feel isolated with how your mind works, at times, only because it is truly exceptional.

Just my own humble opinion, Nicole.

I truly admire the way you think and the perspectives you offer to all of us.

With Gratitude,

Brad

Wow. You hit one thing right on the head and did not miss. I do feel isolated. Not sure if I would say it is because my mind is exceptional. Your post just floored me. Sometimes I wonder if what I post or share is making a difference because I see things so differently at times. I think a lot of people get frustrated with me. LOL.

Thank you Brad for your kind words.

Love the painting, I was wondering what medium you used. Has an American Indian feel to me, I[ve seen something similar in Oklahoma years ago at a museum or craft fair. Beautiful.

So an update from me.   Had my endo appointment last night. Went very well and they are sending 3 months supply of estrogen (estradoil patches) and the anti-androgens whilst my Dr gets a shared care agreement sorted out. So happy, should start HRT tomorrow!! Cost for the 3 month supply is £70 total for me, so not too bad. Not told my parents about this yet, but them being in spain, not sure they need to know yet.   Can't wait to start, just got to think about where to put the patches now and wait for the changes...

Good Morning    well it’s Friday for most, pay day for some.  For me it’s pay day but not Friday.  I work the same opening shift tomorrow.  I typically have Friday on Saturday and Monday on Tuesday.     @KymmieL it does sound like your shop has an issue and you are smack in the thick of it.  The new gal or guy often is.  We have an issue with new people not getting fully trained before being turned loose on customers.  Some struggle through it and some quit because of it.  I try to get them working with customers as quickly as I can but I stay right with them observing, helping, even jumping in when things are getting backed up to keep the stress down.  Not everything comes up during training so when things do, even later after trying is done, I try to help and explain.  Our ASM feels that once she has you scanning barcodes and taking money she is done training.  Generally, refuses to train me on things that she does, and questions why I’m doing something that she normally handles when I’ve been told to do it as part of my advancement training.     She and the cashier involved both keep trying to toss the manager under the bus over a hours of work issue and shifts.  I tell her I realize her issues and I’ll work what ever she needs.  Because of that I tend to get a better more consistent schedule.   Well, time to say Happy Trails to you, until we meet again.   Hi ho Silver, away   Willow

That does get you the 'starting point' for cup size, but manufacturers, style, breast shape, etc... will effect the results.    Step one is of course finding the proper band fit, then figuring out the approximate cup size with the calculations. Of course you need to try on a few styles after that in different cup sizes close to your measured result until you get the perfect fit.    I have bras in a DD that fit just like my bras in DDD both from Torrid but different styles.    I have some DDD's that fit awesome and some that are a bit loose, but I measure a 46G. It's not wonder that 80% of women are wearing them wrong bra.

I firmly believe I drank entirely to much for about 25 years. Got drunk every day. This was my coping mechanism to keep hiding deep inside that I was a woman. I miss a lot of signs over the years. Now I drink mabye 1 or 2 beers a day don't even get a buzz anymore. totally accept myself and on regret is that I hide that part of my self which  truly makes me happy being violet 💜. I wasted a lot of time before  being self destructive and had no clue I was just hiding th real me

Well it not morning and I haven’t been on her for a while but it’s nice to be back.  Did some catching up on everyone.  I do have a question, how is Toronto Canada for a get away? Is it a safe and friendly area for us to go.  The wife and I are looking for some where to go to allow me to be my true self.     thanks in advance

Hey, everyone. my life is going down the tubes. at least I think. So, today. A customer called about his car, I told him that the oil change was done. The parts to fix the check engine light are ordered. He can come and get it. For the weekend if he wants. Customer says I didn't want an oil change. it was check the engine light and check for an oil leak. Checking the work order says oil change. The boss wrote the vehicle up. checking with the customer on services wanted.   Being that I wrote down the appointment in the book. and clearly states oil leak. She is complaining because she can't read my small ish writing. It seems she read oil and assumed it as an oil change. It seems like she is blaming me.  She wound up going home because she was too upset. She is stressing about an eye problem she has, she has to get eye surgery it seems she has a tear in her eye.    I feel that I am short for this job. because of the BS they are blaming me on. Plus I am still upset about the trust issue. If either one of the bosses start their Shite tomorrow. I am walking out.

"I love you so much,"  Lois said.  They met in the driveway. "I could not live without you." "Neither could I." "What are we going to do?" "Find another counselor?" "No. I think we need to solve this ourselves." "Do you think we can?" "I don't know.  But what I know is that I don't want to go through that again.  I think we have to hope we can find a solution." "Otherwise, despair." "Yeah.   Truce?" "Okay,  truce." And they hugged.   "When we know what we want we can figure out how to get there."   That began six years of angry battles, with Odie insisted he could dress as he pleased and Lois insisting it did not please her at all.  He told her she was not going to control him and she replied that she still had rights as a wife to a husband. Neither was willing to give in, neither was willing to quit, and their heated arguments ended in hugs and more.   They went to a Crossdressers' Club, where they hoped to meet other couples with the same problems, the same conflicts, and the same answers, if anyone had any.  It took them four tries before they settled on a group that they were both willing to participate in.  This was four couples their own age, each with a cross dressing husband and a wife who was dealing with it.  They met monthly.  It was led by a 'mediator' who wanted people to express how they felt about the situation.  Odie and Lois, as newcomers, got the floor, and the meeting was finally dismissed at 1:30 in the morning - it was supposed to be over at 10 - and everyone knew how they felt about the situation.   There was silence in the car on the way home.   "We aren't the only ones dealing with this." Odie finally said.   "Who would have thought that?  You are right."   "Somebody out there has a solution." "I hope you are right."   "I hope in hope, not in despair."   "That's my Odie."

The counseling session was heated, if you could call it a counseling session.  Sometimes Lois felt he was on Odie's side, and sometimes on hers.  When he was on her side, Odie got defensive. She found herself being defensive when it seemed they were ganging up on each other.   "This is not working," Lois said angrily, and walked out.  "Never again. I want my husband back. Dr. Smith you are complicit in this."   "What?" said Odie.   The counselor looked at him.  "You will have to learn some listening skills."   "That is it? Listening skills?  You just destroyed my marriage, and you told me I need to learn listening skills?"   Dr. Smith said calmly,"I think you both need to cool off."   Odie looked at him and walked out, saying "And you call yourself a counselor."   "Wait a minute."   "No."
