Finally had my stylist appointment today, to get my hair put into a style other then bushy and wild.. I'm really happy with how it turned out! My brows look soooo much better now and really help set my appearance I think. Waxing was painful but not too bad, laser was worse for me. Anyways I said I'd share pics so here they are! :)

New Hair style!

New Hair Style! 2

A really big improvement from my point of view. :D

You are looking so good, Sarah!

I've been wanting to get my eyebrows done professionally. I've been tweezing them about once a week, but I'd be so much happier to have them shaped by someone who knows what they are doing ;)

Probably will get my hair styled some day soon, too. I definitely need to find a stylist I like.

Thanks a bunch everyone, My hair is also wayyy more manageable now then it was before so that makes me super happy. She layered it for me and it ended up looking just like I wanted it!

Aww thanks Charlie! That's really sweet. :)

Kaylee, Yeah Ive been thinking about getting something to tweeze them my self but I wanted to get it professionally done so I'd have some guide lines to work with.. Though I have to admit wax is alot faster and I just sat back and let her do her thing. Almost relaxing if it wasn't for the jolts of pain! :) I would recommend it though i'm super happy with the results!

I saw this in your gallery first so left a comment there. But just to iterate, you look absolutely fantastic, in that second picture especially.

Yeah, lighting is a real problem down here in my areas of the house and my cellphone likes to do weird things with odd lighting.. like one time I had a picture where it looked like I had a black eye or something! lol!

Anyways, thanks everyone I am really happy with the results of seeing a stylist. All I told her was I was thinking of having it layered didn't really give her more detais beyond that and it turned out exactly like I wanted! :)

Sarah

Very nice Sarah:

My hat is off to your stylist. I wonder if her twin is a stylist in Missouri? I can hope, can't I? Grins Kathryn

Thanks all! :) Just happy to have something thats a bit more manageable, Im really liking that the wind can blow it around and it still looks pretty good.. Before if the wind hit my hair Id have to brush it or I'd look awful! lol

Im not sure that she has a twin Kathryn, but Im sure there is someone in your area that would be really good! ;)

Thanks Sophia! Though I have since washed it of course, and didn't feel much like taking a flat iron to it for anything but a special occasion it has some of its waviness back, though still looks pretty good. :)

Wow you look amazing, i must admit im a little jealous my self, i cant wait to have hair i can style.

Aw, thanks! :) Well aside from getting a human hair wig in the mean time, and I know it varies from person to person, but it only took me about a year or so to grow my hair out long enough to style I think. The last time I had cut it before hand was Maybe november 2011, and my hair was to my shoulders at least by then, now its down to around my shoulder blades in the back and Ive been growing it out for about a year and a half now. Anyways it doesn't take a super long time, and there are some cute things you can do with shorter hair when you start growing it out. :)

Hugs,

Sarah

I am about 5 weeks ahead of you ... best wishes to you! For me it has been subtle changes at most so far (if any) ... but I am also on the "beginner's" level of patch, lol ...    Easy

Oh, another comment.   I am a conservative evangelical with strong Republican leanings. So is my wife, my friends, my family. I disagree with a good amount of what the Republicans are doing, but there it is.  I understand the mindset, I think, a lot better than those who are outside it do.   When you insult Republicans you insult me, my friends, my family.   People like me can struggle with trans issues.   Please consider that in posting.

I found this as well. No playacting, they just appear: the finger waggle wave; bracing my elbow on my other arm that's folded across my chest, wrist in the air half-cocked; walking a bit more fiercely... All that. My wife thought I was mocking her at one point!

I find my lack of time to read the thing frustrating, and I will not really comment until I have read it.  This is a wholly inadequate response.   1.  I think there are some legitimate concern.   2. Thoroughly discussing this will consume many threads.   3. I disagree partially with @MaeBe but there is partial agreement.   4. The context includes what is happening in society that the authors are observing.  It is not an isolated document.   5. Trump, if elected, is as likely to spend his energies going after political opponents as he is to implementing something like this.    6. I reject critical theory, which is based on Marxism.  Marxism has never worked and never will.  Critical theory has problems which would need time to go into, which I do not have.   7. There are groups who have declared war on the nuclear family as problematically patriarchal, and a lot of other terms. They are easy to find on the internet.  This document is reacting to that (see #4 above).   8.  Much of this would have to be legislated, and this is a policy documented.  Implementation would  be most likely different, but that does not mean criticism is unwarranted.

Sort of bracing myself for flipping, because I am wearing f and of course I wear f and it is natural to wear f and what else would I wear?  The  novelty is long gone out on this.  I wore a bra most of yesterday but we had a Zoom call and I took the bra off because I was concerned about the straps showing.  I missed it.    My body is saying "I am female!  Treat me that way!"   In the past it has screamed about this activity that  I have done to it.

This is what I'm scared of.  And it's quite possible. Apparently Chicken Little was right.

Finally I  am back online   I had to use the help of the contact form (not proud  of that, I always feel embarrassed and shy about contacting people), but here I am   missed all of you

I'm not happy to admit this, but I usually scream or break things.   Breaking things became a bit of a no no, because It was always a cd or something I liked and it got very expensive to replace stuff

Probably amusement parks. I've never been to one sadly, but I think I could talk for an hour about them without any problem

The name "Mississippi" comes from the Anishinabe tribe of Native Americans; the word means "Father of Waters."
