Would you pose naked?

I'm currently saving so I can move to Sweden where I will do my medical transition.

Well, I got a message from a friend from Sweden. She has talked about me to some friends and one of them said I can live in her farm at first, paying a quite low rent (actually all rents are low in that area).

She also said she could hook me up with some jobs to do the same thing she does on the side (for a decent pay): posing naked. Not for porn. She mentioned drawing, so I guess it's for an art school or maybe painters.

I've transitioned socially, but I haven't been able to afford doing anything to my body yet, so at first I thought it was crazy, that my friend's friend either didn't know I'm trans or wanted to confuse some art students. However, the more I think about it, the more it tempts me.

It would be good for giving visibility to trans bodies. I'm also a naturist, so showing myself naked in the right environment wouldn't be a huge trigger.

There's also a project I have. Once I begin hormones I want to do one of those a-selfportrait-a-day projects to document changes to my face and maybe my chest. If I were to keep doing modeling, and if they allowed me to keep a copy of at least some of the drawings, I think it would be a nice complement to that.

What do you think? What would you do?

It's something to get details of first before making a decision but, being into drawing myself and mainly people, I do see great value to artists that a model provides.

I should say though that it maybe is not quite the easy money it sounds as apart from the obvious issues of feeling vulnerable or even, from the trans angle, mental uncertainty, the job can be hard work as there is the need to pose in a position for some time. I have done it - not naked - was when I was at school. I remember I was tired after the session even though I was sitting down. It was also quite boring after a while.

That said - in the right circumstances - maybe, but I'd want to know the details first as you may well be showing yourself to the world!

I would also look well into costs of living in Sweden and plan well as, although I have not looked into, Sweden is regarded here as expensive in some respects.

Tracy,

The decision of going to Sweden is one I've taken a while ago and has been very thought through. I'm a Swedish national, and I still have family there as well as friends. It is expensive, but salaries are good too, and unlike here I will be able to work in my trade. The highest costs are housing (but for a number of reasons I'm moving to an area where living costs are lower) and taxes (which you do get back in a number of ways including healthcare, and it's the people with the highest incomes that pay the most anyway).

I have no problems showing myself to the world, if it can help to bring awareness. As I said I was planning on doing it already, just not in the same way.

I don't think of nude modeling for an art school of glamorous or easy money. But it's good to already have a job opportunity. And well, it's something I hadn't thought of as something I could do, but it is one more reason why I love Sweden!

My tendency would be to return to Sweden especially if you are a Swedish national. I would certainly think that as a trans* person you would find greater acceptance and medical care. You would know the realities of this better than i do.

I posed naked as a student at Princeton. I was painting seriously at the time and had to earn enough to live on. Posing paid well at the time but as mentioned above it wasn't easy. Some poses were painful rather quickly. I often only worked nights as i had classes or my own painting to do during the day. I was always treated with respect. I have to admit i wouldn't want any of the images created as the students were not particularly talented.

Above all this is your decision. Best of luck whatever direction you choose to travel.

Hugs,

Charlize

If you're comfortable with it, and you seem to be, then you should go for it.

In my case, I would decline in the interest of public safety. ;)

Hell yes. But, Im a nudist. Back in the 80's When I was in San Diego I would go to Blacks Beach. On a weekend there would be 20-30 thousand people there. All along the beach but moreover at the LGBT end were every type person one can imagine. It was great that when we took off all the polyester and plastic armour we could communicate our inner feelings and goals so much better. We do some of that here in the virtual world but, its not the same, which is why this old girl still goes to the local (clothing optional) hot springs.

One particularly dysphoric day I decided to look up pics of naked transmen. Many were pre-op as far as bottom surgery because many of us find the risks and costs outweigh the results> I figured as dysphoric as I was feeling anyway what I saw couldn't make it much worse.

Surprisingly it actually made me feel better. I saw men -unquestionably men -who had mixed bodies as I do. And somehow seeing others like myself made it easier for me to love with my own body as long as it is necessary as it is financially now.

We tend to be harder on ourselves than others and so seeing these men with no secret hidden shamed reaction that they were in any way less men made it so much more comfortable for me in my own body. A man with a difference.

If posing naked is comfortable for you then it may well help others see us as we are. Men and women whose bodies can differ but still ne masculine or feminine.

Besides it's not for anyone else to judge or decide really except yourself

Why I did it just last week on a freeway overpass... Nobody noticed. Well, until some guy came up and pinched my sides, said he had a flat and he thought from the road below my size would fit!

Giggle, just playing!

Pose nude? Maybe in the next lifetime...sigh...

Once I feel comfortable in my own skin, for who I am as a person (aka: living publicly as myself) then Yes, I would consider it if offered by a trusted friend or source.

I'm a fan of the Suicide Girls group, and have often wished I could do that stuff. For those unaware, here's a quote about them from Wiki - "SuicideGirls is a website that features pin-up photography and profiles of alternative female models who are known as the "Suicide Girls". " Which for the most part means female models with dyed hair and tattoos, expressing themselves nude.

Anyways! For Art, that's something I'd consider if others involved knew ahead of time. To prevent uncomfortable or unnecessary issues for those involved. And the pay was good.

It is interesting to me, that since my surgery. I have had almost NO body problems, even though I still have remnants of an old well earned beer belly. I have been to clothing optional sites and situations and without hesitation opted out of the clothing, and found out that human bodies without clothing are frankly less of a problem to me than the clothing they wear often presents.

There is a vast difference between nudity and porno. I have several friends who do modeling for art schools in my area, and they actually prefer full nudity for their posing. Two are actual clothing models who do the nude posing as a "vacation" from the clothing on type. Go for it and have a good time.

For my part, like my singing and dancing, I stand a whole lot better chance of being asked - even paid-NOT to do it

That does get you the 'starting point' for cup size, but manufacturers, style, breast shape, etc... will effect the results.    Step one is of course finding the proper band fit, then figuring out the approximate cup size with the calculations. Of course you need to try on a few styles after that in different cup sizes close to your measured result until you get the perfect fit.    I have bras in a DD that fit just like my bras in DDD both from Torrid but different styles.    I have some DDD's that fit awesome and some that are a bit loose, but I measure a 46G. It's not wonder that 80% of women are wearing them wrong bra.

I firmly believe I drank entirely to much for about 25 years. Got drunk every day. This was my coping mechanism to keep hiding deep inside that I was a woman. I miss a lot of signs over the years. Now I drink mabye 1 or 2 beers a day don't even get a buzz anymore. totally accept myself and on regret is that I hide that part of my self which  truly makes me happy being violet 💜. I wasted a lot of time before  being self destructive and had no clue I was just hiding th real me

Is it a safe and friendly area for us to go.  The wife and I are looking for some where to go to allow me to be my true self.     thanks in advance

Hey, everyone. my life is going down the tubes. at least I think. So, today. A customer called about his car, I told him that the oil change was done. The parts to fix the check engine light are ordered. He can come and get it. For the weekend if he wants. Customer says I didn't want an oil change. it was check the engine light and check for an oil leak. Checking the work order says oil change. The boss wrote the vehicle up. checking with the customer on services wanted.   Being that I wrote down the appointment in the book. and clearly states oil leak. She is complaining because she can't read my small ish writing. It seems she read oil and assumed it as an oil change. It seems like she is blaming me.  She wound up going home because she was too upset. She is stressing about an eye problem she has, she has to get eye surgery it seems she has a tear in her eye.    I feel that I am short for this job. because of the BS they are blaming me on. Plus I am still upset about the trust issue. If either one of the bosses start their Shite tomorrow. I am walking out.

"I love you so much,"  Lois said.  They met in the driveway. "I could not live without you." "Neither could I." "What are we going to do?" "Find another counselor?" "No. I think we need to solve this ourselves." "Do you think we can?" "I don't know.  But what I know is that I don't want to go through that again.  I think we have to hope we can find a solution." "Otherwise, despair." "Yeah.   Truce?" "Okay,  truce." And they hugged.   "When we know what we want we can figure out how to get there."   That began six years of angry battles, with Odie insisted he could dress as he pleased and Lois insisting it did not please her at all.  He told her she was not going to control him and she replied that she still had rights as a wife to a husband. Neither was willing to give in, neither was willing to quit, and their heated arguments ended in hugs and more.   They went to a Crossdressers' Club, where they hoped to meet other couples with the same problems, the same conflicts, and the same answers, if anyone had any.  It took them four tries before they settled on a group that they were both willing to participate in.  This was four couples their own age, each with a cross dressing husband and a wife who was dealing with it.  They met monthly.  It was led by a 'mediator' who wanted people to express how they felt about the situation.  Odie and Lois, as newcomers, got the floor, and the meeting was finally dismissed at 1:30 in the morning - it was supposed to be over at 10 - and everyone knew how they felt about the situation.   There was silence in the car on the way home.   "We aren't the only ones dealing with this." Odie finally said.   "Who would have thought that?  You are right."   "Somebody out there has a solution." "I hope you are right."   "I hope in hope, not in despair."   "That's my Odie."

The counseling session was heated, if you could call it a counseling session.  Sometimes Lois felt he was on Odie's side, and sometimes on hers.  When he was on her side, Odie got defensive. She found herself being defensive when it seemed they were ganging up on each other.   "This is not working," Lois said angrily, and walked out.  "Never again. I want my husband back. Dr. Smith you are complicit in this."   "What?" said Odie.   The counselor looked at him.  "You will have to learn some listening skills."   "That is it? Listening skills?  You just destroyed my marriage, and you told me I need to learn listening skills?"   Dr. Smith said calmly,"I think you both need to cool off."   Odie looked at him and walked out, saying "And you call yourself a counselor."   "Wait a minute."   "No."
