Hai hai everyone!!

It's been a long time coming but I am finally ready to start HRT!!

My latest visit with my endo was kinda funny because she told me she wanted me to lose weight. I decided that day I would focus on a low carb diet and work my way into healthier carb lifestyle. For 3 weeks before this visit i was diligent and apparently I dropped 13 pounds! My doc came in and was like: "We must have made a mistake when we weighed you" lol. I went on to tell her i took her words to heart and started dieting and she was very impressed!

After going over labs and ordering a few more she told me I am all set for HRT!! I'll be starting  next week!! I'm happy, excited, a little anxious, but overall so ready!!

Gonna be cosplaying at a convention this weekend with a friend it'll be our first time cosplaying. We're excited and a little nervous but looking forward to it. Depending on how it goes i may post a few pics later!!

That's all for now, i'll see you around!!

Keep up the good work.  It may be more difficult once the estrogen is in your body.

Hai hai hai everyone!!

Just updating since it's been a little while. It has been a month since starting HRT and already getting favorable gains :3

At the suggestion of many of my Ciswoman friends, I now wear a sports bra since I am overly sensitive around that area; they were not joking about that. Those have been the most noticeable changes other than other areas that are going the opposite direction. My hips are even starting to grow a little, I only noticed it the other day while doing some yoga:  I bent over and I happened to look at my hips as I was going down, they are flaring out a bit further than usual!

I havent been doing any voice training but i frequently speak in what I consider my feminine or true voice and many people have noticed that I sound a little different even when I am at work, where I use my "male mask"

My therapist has noticed that my gestures are more feminine as opposed to how I was when i met her; it was part of my homework to work on that and she told me it paid off big time.

The year is almost up and I am stressed out beyond belief!! But it's not all bad: I have a few getaways planned in the next 3 weeks. I get to be the real me the whole time for all of those getaways so I am excited!

Unfortunately, I had to let my bf go; i like him and still consider him to be a good friend but taking care of him became work to me. At times i felt more like his Mother or Elder sister then his woman. His energy was bringing me down so I asked him if one day we could go back to being friends; the awnser to that question is still up in the air.

For anyone that does know what MAGfest is: WE'RE GOING!! AND WE GOT A ROOM AT THE GAYLORD!! I plan on being drunk at some point each day since driving wont be an issue. That aside, i have my whole crew with me, we're all excited to be going once more and looking forward to all the events and concerts. I will be doing my cosplay again, gonna try to tweak a few things so hopefully, more pictures  and better ones at that! We will be posting a podcast and my friend wants me to be the moderator!! Still not sure how well that will go but, gonna do my best!!

For those who don't know what MAGfest is:

https://super.magfest.org/

It is an awesome time even if trying to get a room is a major pain and needlessly complicated.

I dont think i have much more to say other than i Love all of you and your stories and posts help me out so much when i have a bad day or a hard time so please keep sharing with me!! I will keep sharing with you too, because i wanna be  to others what you all have been to me!! Have a Wonderful Holiday and I'll try to post again soon!! :3

Hello hello everyone!!

It's been a little while but I'm still doing fine!! My transition is moving on along and i am really starting to blossom :3

Recent labs from my Endo lead to some adjustments to the meds; I am so thankful to have an endo that's watching out for me. I am actually at my endo's right now; they are a little backed up so I'm in a lil queue.

Work is kinda crazy right now as many upper management have left and so openings are available. I have applied for one of them; they are done with interviews but are dragging their feet on the results :(

Yall!! I finally went out with my friends to that bar we love; it took forever for the stars to align but last weekend, they did and we went! I wanted to look extra cute so I threw on some heels; 3 inches nothing too crazy but i was getting complements all night long! We all had so much fun! Can't wait to go again!

I gave my blog some love with a few new posts and I aspire to add more posts more frequently, but i don't want to force it. I'm gonna do the best I can!!

If you haven't checked it out yet that address is:

iamyuuseria.blogspot.com

Check it out if you want to :3

Well she sounds like she is about ready so i am gonna end it here. I will try to post again soon!! Love you all, keep on being awesome :3

Hello everyone, it has been years since I posted in this topic; there isn't a good excuse for it. I've had alot happen to me and  I just lost track of this forum then when I DID happen upon it I completely forgot my password. Well as you can, I managed to figure it out :3c

Sorry I fell out so hard I do have some updates but I'm currently at work so I'll keep it short kinda

I have been on HRT for going on 4 years and it has been a dream. I'm finally starting to feel "right" in my body if that makes sense. I still have a ways to go, but it's been good. I have also moved out of my old house in the country and moved to the cityside, where my job is. it's been quite the transition itself, just as needed and long overdue.

Since the time we spoke last, I've started a Youtube channel where I post Gameplay vid and streams!! i will share that in the appropriate topic channels soon; if you're interested stay tuned!!

I feel like i am always complaining about work to yall and I wish I could say that has changed but well, here we are lol. I am still with the same Medical System joined about 4 years ago. I have since moved to a satellite clinic of it where my job concerns more of the revenue side; it started off great but well... Over time the lies, deceit, and corruption came out. i'm kinda miserable and looking for a new job.

I have tons of new pics to share!! Will share a few when I get to my home comp!!

Gonna keep posting here and participate in member activity!! Good to be back loves!! I hope everyone is still doing well!!

I'm new here, but I read back through this thread; what a lovely story. Work is what it is, but it sounds like you're thriving outside of it. I'll keep my eyes out for your updates! Have a lovely weekend!

I read each of your entries and learn so much. Thank you, especially, for the TransCentralPA info. I have been looking fora group and activities where I could express myself safely and with support. I missed this year's conference but next year might be possible and I am going to look at their other events, too.

I have read numerous accounts of trans folk no longer being welcome among evangelicals.   I am here for help and fellowship not to rebuke anyone.  I can take a pretty high degree of insult, etc., and you haven't insulted me, to my recollection anyway :) and I usually let it go.  But I thought I would let it all out there.   I am sure I disagree with you on numerous issues.  I appreciate other people's viewpoints, including those who radically disagree with me.  Intellectual challenge is good. One thing I appreciate about @MaeBe.

Post 8 “The Ohio Years” We moved to Pittsburgh because of the job with US Airways.  The job involved classroom instruction and simulator training, but no actual flying, so I kept looking for an actual pilot position.  A year after signing on with US Airways I got hired to fly business jets.  The company was located in Cleveland, Ohio, but I was flown commercially from my home in Pittsburgh to where my aircraft was located, making it unnecessary to live near company headquarters.    My flight scheduled consisted of eight days on duty with seven days off.  Having seven days off in a row was great but being gone from home eight days in a row was difficult.  For the first few years the flying was fun, but after a while the eight flying days in a row, were taking their toll on me.  Those days were brutal, consisting of very long hours and a lot of flying time.  Usually, I came home exhausted and need three days just to recover from the work week.  Flying for a living is glamorous until you actually do it.  Quickly, it became just a job.    After five years as a line captain, I became a flight department manager, which required we live near company headquarters.  That meant a move to Cleveland.  Working in the office meant I was home every night but as a manager, the schedule was still challenging.  I would work in the office all week and then be expected to go out and fly the line on weekends.  I referred to it as my “5 on 2 on” schedule, because it felt as though I had no time off at all.   About the same time, we moved to Cleveland, my wife and I became “empty nesters,” with one son in the military and the other away at college.  Sadly, my work schedule didn’t leave much time for Sally.  Add to the fact that while Cleveland is an awesome city, I just never felt comfortable expressing my feminine side.  Most of my outings, and believe me there weren’t enough, occurred while I was on vacation and away from home.   One of the most memorable outings occurred over a long weekend.  I had stumbled across an online notice for a spring formal being held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, hosted by a local trans group there.  I reached out to Willa to see if she was up for an excellent adventure.  She was, so I picked her up and we drove to Harrisburg together.    The formal was held on Saturday evening and we had the absolute best time.  It turned out that organizers were a group named TransCentralPA.  Everyone was wonderful and I made a lot of new friends that evening.  We learned the spring formal was one of the group’s annual events but for the following year, instead of a spring formal, the group wanted to do a local transgender conference.  That local conference would become the Keystone Conference, and I would attend every year for the next 12.  My move to the west coast was the only reason I stopped attending annually.  I went to the first annual Keystone Conference as an attendee, but in subsequent years I served as a volunteer and as a workshop presenter; more about those in the next installment.   For my Cleveland years, the Keystone Conference would be my major outlet for feminine self-expression.  Yes, I did get out on other occasions, but they were too infrequent.  The managerial job just didn’t allow me the freedom I needed to adequately live my feminine life, and my frustration level was slowly, but steadily on the rise.  It amazed me how adversely not being able to express the feminine half of my personality was affecting my happiness.   However, a major life change was upcoming, and while it would prove to be a significant challenge in many ways, the events would ultimately benefit my female persona.  First, my mom and dad got sick.  They were in and out of the hospital and required personal care.  My wife and I did our best but living in Cleveland, we were too far from them to give them the support they both needed.  Second, I was experiencing serious job burn out.  I decided I need to find another job and I needed to be closer to my parents.    Things changed for the better when I got hired by an aviation training company as a flight simulator instructor.  I would be training business jet pilots.  The training facility was located in New Jersey, which put us much closer to my parents, and the work schedule was much better for quality of life.  Most importantly, this life change would help Sally re-emerge and once again flower.    Hugs,   Sally

I made a living talking about bulk liquids in cargo tanks transportation as a driver and mechanic. Safe loading/unloading, cleaning and inspecting, as well as emergency response scenarios.   Hazmat and fire behavior in the fire service as well as emergency vehicle operations and safe driving. "It was on fire when they called you. It will be on fire when you get there." Arrive ready to work. I could also talk about firefighter behavioral  heath and the grieving process.   The real fun thing is I can do this for people who are not Truck Drivers or Fire Fighters. Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Citizen Tax payers about Public Safety Education.   I love public speaking,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Got a new Granddaughter this morning.  Mother and child (and father) are doing fine. This makes 7 granddaughters and one grandson.  I have 2 sons and 6 daughters myself.  And then I  switched teams.  I think this stuff runs in the family. Another hard day for the patriarchy.

Like @MaeBe pointed out, Trump won't do these things personally.  I doubt that he actually gives a rat's a$$ himself.  But he is the foot in the door for the others.   I don't really see this.  Personally, I am all in favor of "traditional" families.  I raised my own kids this way and it can work fine.  But I think we need to allow for other variations as well.   One thing working against this now is how hard it is for a single breadwinner to support a family.  Many people (I know some) would prefer "traditional" if they could actually afford it.  Like I mentioned, we raised our family with this model, but we were always right at the poverty level.   I was a "conservative evangelical" for most of my life, actually.  So I do understand this.  Admittedly, I no longer consider myself one. I have family members still in this camp.  Some tolerate me, one actually rejects me.  I assure you the rejection is on her side, not mine.  But, I understand she believes what she is doing is right - 'sa pity though. I mean no insult toward anyone on this forum.  You're free to disagree with me.  Many people do.   This is a pretty complex one.  Socialism takes many forms, many of which we accept without even realizing it.  "Classism" does exist, for what it's worth.  Always has, probably always will.  But I don't feel like that is a subject for this forum.   As for the election, it's shaping up to be another one of those "hold your nose" deals.

Yeah.  In my early teens I trained myself out of a few things that I now wish I hadn't.
