Is There Something Wrong With They Way I Speak?

I want to try to start voice training... I talked with Eth and after a short discussion she told me that I should have vibrations only coming from my throat (maybe my chest too, but I don't remember). I have some voice sample of me speaking on youtube... I have linked there so many times recently what is one more???

She and I discussed this more and I realized that I speak more nasally than anything else. My test that helped me figure this out was I held a piece of paper in front of my mouth and spoke. My paper didn't move any except my hand twitching. I don't exhale when I speak. Is this going to be a problem for my voice training?

MAJOR RULE!

Whatever works for you, that is what you use.

After you get a voice - and use it ALL THE TIME... it will naturally go where you need it to. The key is GETTING that voice.

So don't worry.
