if there's been question about what the natural testosterone, and what the natural estrogen in anyone gifted me, one thing the testosterone gifted me with was... james earl jones voice, just not as sexy

i have a deeeeeep voice, i mean deep deep, so deep my simple conversations can be heard across a large, loud room, without me shouting.

i've been practicing for only a little know so i don't expect results, i can get "gay guy" voice going okay, i've hit "semi mabey female voice" once or twice, the problem is such a deep voice is very comfortable to my cords, and i keep slipping back in, it's like a deep hole.... i gotta quit saying deep

i was wondeirng if anyone that used to have such a deep voice, and been a girl with voice practice of years, can tell me how it went, what their at, and how long it took.

until then

"if you build it they will come"

I started by finding tunes in the register above the one I was in naturally and getting my voice comfortable with singing those, then slowly move further up the register, now I think I'm someplace between tenor and alto. I even managed to fool my landlord over the phone today, although I did have to tell him who I actually was.

Hi Jess

Hate to tell you this but it's going to take you a while and a lot of practice. If you look on You Tube under Transsexual Voice Lessons you can find some video to help. I've been playing with my voice for years now ( nothing serious though ) and still have problems keeping a constant pitch over a conversation. Keep up the practice and I'm sure you'll get there. ;)
