Ugh Purses

Yeah, purse is like the black hole. I leave most of my make-up at home.... but last night after dinner, it still took me a few minutes to find the lip gloss. No wonder they make bigger and bigger purse

the problem with big purses is that they carry large ammounts of stuff. it then takes even longer to find that tube of lippy that is burried in a bottom corner someplace

I keep a wee tiny "Emergency Back Up" purse in my great big over the shoulder purse...

I can leave the big one at the hotel and take the tiny one to dinner!

Modular is the new thing.....LOL!

Have you ever noticed that many women carry two,one is her handbag/purse.

The other bigger bag,has her essentials that help her to get her through her day.

I know if I am going some place where I am planning on wearing my high heels,

I carry an extra tote that keeps my heels at hand,while my feets stay happier in

my walking shoes.

Purses r a necessity!! Pockets are way to small on ladies pants *sigh* means I gotta buy a new wallet and all kinds of stuff just because of my pants! Lol. I don't mind cuz purses make me feel more lady like... I am a princess after all!

Pockets are ok for a set of keys, a hankie and a breath mint....

But for REAL gear ...you need a purse!

I carry everything from cosmetics, calculator, US mail stamps, File folders, brushes, combs, mirror, penns writing paper,

phone, protection (No.... the weapon kind), wallet, and that's just the everyday stuff...I also carry things that are "Mission Specific!"

Ugh, I can't stand keys in my pocket. The only thing I'll put in my pockets are a debit card, cash...basically anything that's completely flat..

Bulgy pockets are just about the worst thing ever.

I don't own a purse, but I have something that's basically a purse made out of canvas and only has one compartment. I even embroidered it myself

I did see a purse I absolutely love at a clothing store at the mall (I think it was Bluenotes, but I'm not positive), and I'm hoping to get it for Christmas. I did hint a fair bit while we were in there.

I have been in love/lust with this black Coach purse I wouldn't

let myself buy for two years.And I even talked to my ex about

my desire to own such a statement purse of my own.She said,

"Well then buy it silly,you have waited so long you deserve it."

When I finally broke down my resistence,the dang thing was Gone.

I thought that I must not have been meant to have that oh so cute

purse,and forgot about it.Now he has another of the same style,and

with the holidays here,I just may break down and buy myself a Christmas

present.Welll,maaaybee.I don't allow myself to buy something like this

very often.

That's the most adorable thing, Shilo! I love little "bags" like that, they help me feel cute. My purse is a hole to another dimension, but we won't get into that... Now hold on as I stuff some otherworldly beings back in there that keep crawling out! Oh my.

Far Canals Berni .. yopur post brought back memories of my mother.. She had a bag that was like a black hole too. I'm a little more organised, but I mhave a small bag so it can't get full of all kinds of junk.. Remember girls.. small = less clutter.

small != less clutter for this gal, it means more compact clutter. Nearly the same amount of stuff crammed into a smaller space

Tell me about it! I just bought a pair of jeans at Old Navy and the front pockets aren't big enough for anything more than a phone...maybe. I have two purses, one a bit smaller and geekier that I prefer (a friend made it for my wife, but she has since passed it on to me). I also have a "murse" that I use day to day.
