In most cases, yes

Hey!

So I have been doing this since I was like 14 and I love the feeling of not having a penis and all the men I have been with love when I do this. However, I am here to ask what kind of tape does everyone use to avoid pain when removing it?

Thanks!

Tape should only be used for very short periods of time when taping is warranted. Medical tape is the only tape designed specifically for skin. I don't use tape myself, nor have I ever needed to use it.

Try working on tucking without tape.

I need to know where I can find some tape, I used really tight panties but they were so comfortable

Hi Lelia,

Go ahead and introduce yourself in the Introductions Forum. Let everyone have a chance to say hello to you.

also brenda i have found that if a girl were good at sewing you can tailor some clothes to erase a slight bulge and make it flat, plus some skirts and dresses can aleviate the need for a tight tape or tuck.

I've never tucked...don't really see why I should. Also, I do pee standing, even now that I use the ladies' (I am NOT unbuckling my belt and undoing my jeans just for that!), so I like having easy access.

i would say that if it gets uncomfortable then be cautious and give the testicles a rest. not everybody body is the same so what one girl can achieve easily may take you some getting used to. listen to your body it will let you know. i find it easy to tuck now but still they can ache after a day tucked and that can be annoying and uncomfortable. it does also depend on the size of your testicles as well as like has been said some on hrt have a lot smaller bits than some so they find it a lot easier to tuck.

A couple times the "tuck" gradually came loose while running on a treadmill, and there is nothing I can do about it. After being on HRT for awhile, tucking is very easy. I wear two panties just to be on the safe side. Thongs are definitely out of the question.

I too went to THE BREAST FORM STORE and purchased 4 gaffs. 2 black,1 white and 1 gold(the better to go with the rest of my wardrobe). I also tuck so everything stays in place.

Hi everyone, I had a question:

I also use the abominal tuck, but when I do, I notice that the pelvic area directly in front of the 2 cavities seems to bulge out a little, if that makes sense. It's not nearly as bad as NOT tucking, but I feel like it's still noticable (though maybe I'm just paranoid).

Does anyone else experience this? And if so, is there a way to limit this unintended effect?

Hon your question makes perfect sense. The same thing happens to me too. One thing that I do know is that little extra volume is not really noticeable. We notice it more because we are aware its there. Try not to think about it and you will be fine.

Hi Brenda,

I guess it's not just me after all! I did kind of wonder if maybe I was just being overly conscious of it.

Thank you so much for your reply,

Hi Gina,

We all get that. If someone thinks you are Trans and they know the tell tale signs - then that is a little giveaway BUT, to do that they have to be looking at a womans pubic area (not polite and not very Gentlemanly) and you would be quite within your right to give that person one of your 'grrrrrr' stares. After tucking for a while or taking HRT, the testes tend to atrophy anyway - then they become slightly less noticable. Hope this helps.

Thanks, JustMeUK! Lol, yeah, that's a pretty good point!

I had one more (kinda dumb) question: Some people are talking about the "pantyhose method." There was a video link at the beginning, but it no longer works. What does this method entail?

Thank you!

Not a dumb question at all. Here's a similar video:

In this video they use the elastic from a tube sock, while the prior video (if it was the one I watched a while ago) used a part of the leg of the same pair of panty hose.

The concept is the same. Basically you're making a very tight thong-like thing to hold everything in place. Then you put a pair of panties on over it.

Personally, I just wear a pair of panties and then wear a pair of tights, leggings, or spanx on top. Works well as long as it doesn't get too hot outside. I may have to make a gaff for the summertime this year though.

Hope that helped!

Thanks a million Kaylee, that helps a lot! Yeah, I've done it with tights/leggings before too, but I really want to try Spanx, I keep hearing about them.

(You have a very pretty name, by the way!) :)

Thanks *^_^* it's not really my name but it's close.

Spanx are great but can be expensive. I found some at Kohl's the other day for about 50% off though. There are also usually some on eBay but watch for unreasonable shipping charges and for heavens sake don't get dragged into a bidding war.

Also, they are quite tight. I bought a couple a size down not knowing how tight they are. Might not want to do that ;)

Thanks for the info!

I don't want to get too far off-topic, and forgive my ignorance, but: Which kind of Spanx do you get, or if you dont know, how far up the waist / down the legs do they go? There are so many varieties, I'm curious on what other girls like to use. Also, have you found any that help pad the hips?

Thank you so much, Kaylee!

The pair I found at Kohl's are the high-waisted leggings with feet. They fit a little more snugly than the Hue leggings I like, for the same size. I tend to wear the footed leggings when it's cool outside.

I just recently bought a couple pairs of the Spanx "Love your assets" mid-thigh shapers. These two I bought a size lower and *wow* are they tight. Didn't have to worry one bit about anything moving out of place but I wondered if my legs were turning purple all day ;)

I haven't used any with padding. Personally, hoping my figure gets there on its own ;)

Ah - Ha! hehe I was trying to find this topic for a while because I had a question about heat. I get incredibly hot down there, and with that come sweat and then pain. If there an easy remedy that I do not know about? I was thinking of innovating on the Sock video from above and creating a second a pock that you can slide stuff into to avoid the skin of skin contact when you pull everything up.

I was loving my tucking until it got really warm out side. The heat plus the high humidity we get as well as my own furnace... I just don't know what to do that stops the pain.

Best wishes and take care.

I know exactly what you mean, My normal core temp is 99.6 ° F and as such, I have the same difficulty. I do hope someone has an answer to this as I still have not figured one out. If I do find the answer I will be sure to post it here for you.

Here is what I do to make it work for me. I have found that most bikini swimsuit bottoms hold everything in nice and tight and most styles look alot like undies anyways. I find then on sale for 3-5 every year around the time they start putting school cloths out and stock up.For the sweating issue use corn starch as it will absorb the sweat very good and keep things alot dryer down below. Hope this will help you out..

Good afternoon M.A.   Welcome to Transgender Pulse Forums, I think you'll find that there are a lot of us who had their first therapist reconsidering our story and recommended us to gender or LGBTQIA specific therapist. I made my first therapist cry after asking me what was my worst experience or memory. She was not prepared for the can of worms I brought to the couch. My second therapist is a gem, she's my age and knows how to work with my thoughts.    My two kids were also involved in the arts programs in school one in theater, the other combined art and modern music.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I'm wearing a white t shirt and jeans.  The t-shirt is softer than a man's and slightly girly.  Feeling kinda pretty.

That's very common in internet forums and it is hard not to take it personally sometimes.   You might post "bump" with a smiley face to bring it to the top of the stack, or you might use the @ feature if there are certain people you would really like to have comment on it, and say something like Dear Abby, I would really like your input on this.  Please take a minute and respond.  Thanks!!!

The same for me... That's exactly were MmIndy came from. I started choosing female skins as soon as they became available in the few games I played.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Something else I noticed @Ladypcnj Since I use the Unread tab, I don't see threads I've read again until someone replies to it, or the author adds something.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Good morning @Ladypcnj   Some posts get lost in the busy times here. It also maters how people navigate the site. Some only look at their notifications, or tap the All Activity tab which shows them thread they've commented on. (how I see it)... I on the other hand use the Unread tag under Activity. I don't think people ignore post as much as they get caught up reading threads they've already been active in.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Oh yeah, I forgot,    @awkward-yet-sweetwhen your husband finally breaks down and decides to replace the stoves I agree a single professional stove even out of a defunct restaurant might well be the way to go when cooking for all those kids and adults. Certainly better that the situation you describe.  Or maybe from a used restaurant supply where they have professionally cleaned and refurbished it.

Wow, yesterday was a very active day.     @Birdie I hope they figure out where that’s coming from and get you heeled quickly. That it’s nothing serious.  Maybe going to the day care with a purewick will finally convince them to change their attitude.   @MaeBe  especially if you believe you are about to loose your job anyway, what’s to keep you in Minnesota ?  This could be a wonderful thing for all of you Washington State can be wet but it’s really not as bad as it’s made out to be.  If you are west of the cascades it is relatively mild not like MN in the winter time.  And east of the cascades it’s rather desert like around Yakima.     New car shopping can be fun but it can be very stressful too.  We talked about it over lunch yesterday. Strange thing is she kept coming back to the old Ford.  My response was instead of two car payments there woul only be one although I would expect it to be a little higher, but not nearly what two would add up .  Plus I wouldn’t have to continue working as long with only one as when I get the other things paid off I know we can live without me working.  Unless of course, the congress decides to mess with social security.  Right now I have three vehicles I want to look at two are at one dealer and the third at another.  All three are GMs two are newer with lower mileage but are also lower end on the GM line.  The third which is the one that most interests me is a Cadillac.  Let’s see there is a song from way back about a Cadillac and a Hot Rod Lincoln comes to mind.  Anyway it is an XT-5. I get my room and comfort, she gets her nice appointments and the ford hopefully will hang on as a spare for those occasions when we need a second car for me to go to work and for her to do ??  The downside is it has just under 80,000 miles and is a 2020 so in that regard we are slipping backwards from a 2022 with 25000  but going from a sub-compact to a mid-size.  The other two are a compact and a Midsize but neither would provide the expected comfort and features of the Cadillac.  The biggest of which are the pedals that would adjust and the seat adjustments. (My wife is 4’ 10” and I am 5’8” since my spine has shrunk.  The Caddy also has the lane safety as well as front and rear collision warning.  The mileage will go down and the engine requires higher octane gas but that won’t be too much of a drag since we can go to Murphy USA where I work or to Costco which isn’t that far away. 10 miles.  And it’s better than the Ford!   I guess we will see how this plays out later.   Willow
