I Don't Want To Have Testicles

I think I started hating my testicles. I alway feel them and they always make me think of sex, but I hate being a man, a 'sex machine', and of course I don't want to be masculine either. I do feel that I could live without them :).

So, how can I get rid of them (testosterone) :) ? Maybe, should I try out taking antiandrogens to make sure that I really could live without them? But I don't have any prescriptions. Any ideas?

The only idea we have is to do it the right way. See and get checked out by a doctor. Let him tell you what your options are.

Yep mine cause me nothing but problems and don't have any function. I can't wait until I can get SRS. If you go see a gender therapist they can refer you to a doctor to prescribe you some anti androgen.

I have been feeling exactly the same way. I hate the erections I have no control over. I hate feeling them between my legs all the time. I hate the way they feel in my underwear. I wish I could just rip them off and not have them anymore. I am seeing my doctor on Friday and am going to ask him for help. I hope you get some help too.

I hear you loud and clear. I'm just waiting to go of to school so that I can get an actual gender therapist (right now I'm seeing a therapist who specializes in eating disorders, but since she's a friend of my aunt's, she is seeing me for free (or emailing/IMing anyway) and doctor so that I can get my hormones.

Me too. I hate the ugly things. They're in the way, they bulge, and by the way, the most sexist thing females exhibit is how when any less than totally cool and perfect guy in a movie gets a knee in the groin for some real or imagined slight, the giggles and laughter ensue. I know well how it both hurts and demeans. When I bid an unfond fairwell to the boys, I will never do that, nor think it funny. Except for self-defense of course, all bets are off in that case.

The advice here has been correct, see a doctor and follow that advice and procedure. Nothing about this is easy, but IMO, that is a major goal for me, off with them!

Since I started on my Doctor's prescriptions for anti-androgens and Estrogen, my testicles have shrunk dramatically. I used to have to force them inside my body cavity and they didn't want to go. I did this daily for over 3 years and finally got the cavity stretched out enough to hold them, but it was never easy.

Now, they've shrunk around 80% and they're not much bigger than a large olive. They fit easily inside me. When I come out of the shower, they stay put inside. I can even sit to pee and, when I get up, many times they've stayed inside to make pulling my panties back up easier.

Even at that, I'd just as soon not have them, but the medical treatment, under 2 different Doctor's supervision, has made a huge (or should I say "small") difference...... :D

I think you feel the same way as most MTF's feel. I would guess that all of us hate the feeling of them and don't want them anymore. You just need to remember that if you ever plan on SRS that they need the skin down there to help in the procedure. It is really a nuissance but you learn to live with it.

Has your sack shrunk with it or is it just emptier? i'm worried about loosing material for SRS, If I had the chance for an orchi first i'd probably get prosthetics put in so that it didn't shrink.

Oooooohh, ICK!

If I were going to get prosthetics, I certainly wouldn't get them THERE!!! ICK!!!!! ICK!!!!

I'd rather have a frog down my dress than that! ICK!

OK, I'm slowly settling down now....... I suppose the sack has shrunk some, but it's still the same sack. It'll stretch out. I think. I don't know. ICK!!!

You can be such a little stinker sometimes with the things you think about. Oh, ICK!

Ick,

I really hate The bulging things myself, I tried to see about getting an orchi done to get rid of them once and for all, but if getting rid of the skin down there hurts my chances for SRS, then I'll just have to deal with it. Hopefully I'll be starting hrt soon, and that'll shrink them quite a bit. Anyway I've tryed the tucking, and I just can't get them up there, if I was able to do it it would help immensly.

Oh, I forgot to ask one thing. Would the hormones stop it from getting errect?

Melisa

Well, yeah......

The androgen blockers and Estrogen in concert will make an erection difficult, if not impossible in most cases over time...

I still hear people say that they have an active sex life ...having an erection after many months on HRT....

Must be some tremendous will power going on there!

Melissa,

I am a great deal like Donna Jean in this department but for me it started long before HRT, she had what was considered to be a moderately low T count before she started and the effects came rather quickly - YMMV - I started with a T count not much above a masculine woman and the effects have kicked in much faster - no erections since month three and as far as tucking, I never could because I didn't need to, there was never much there and all I ever had to worry about was an erection and that ain't happening again.

The anti-androgen and estrogen will do wonders for you.

It also make you feel great!

Do it the right way - see a doctor, changing your body's chemistry is not a good thing to leave to yourself - it can have disastrous effects and only a doctor can see the signs before it is too late, you won't 'feel' liver or kidney problems until after the damage has been done, and after a heart attack or stroke is also too late - your blood work gives the signs much earlier.

Love ya,

Sally

Well it wouldn't be nice although i mean tucked away it's reasonably hidden it doesn't bothere me anywhere near as much as other stuff does. I know it'll be fixed eventually. I wanna change the things that people can see and I want to change the psychological stuff, so i'd jump at the chance of no more testosterone without having to take loads of meds.

Laughing Out Loud at all this!

I think we have a definition of GENDER DYSPHORIA - MTF type!

I have these items to offer - based upon experience:

(1) Some MTF hate their geniltalia, some don't worry too much about it. Either way DON"T take action into your own hands. Self castration can be fatal!

(2) Before HRT - you WILL get erections, you will get sexually arroused, you are a function of your male homones - like it or not. What to do? Self gradification is about all that can be done. Keep everything on a blah level by keeping the gun empty. But it means you have to touch all that down there - so those who are really phobic about that will have a problem.

(3) Before HRT and you are older? Diabetes kills erections. Tough way to do it but it happens. Also older age means not as much arousal - but young guys? Ain't gonna help.

(4) During HRT - you become chemically castrated! FINALLY! No urges - no erections - no orgasims - no fluids.

(5) When you get diagnosed transsexual - an option is surgical castration. But if you go for SRS later - why spend the money.

(6) Tucking? I don't need to do it. If you do - it's a personal choice. Tucking always reminded me something was down there. BUT some outfits require a smooth look.

Hope this helps

I hate mine with a passion, they do not belong on me,have served their

purpose of procreation, leave two little mounds where my vulva should be,

are worthless, and cannot wait until they are gone, gone, gone. But,finances

being what they are,an Orchiectomy is out of the question, but will have to

deal with them until they are lying in a stainless steel bowl waiting to be

incinerated, along with the rest of the unwanted baggage, for when I am

finally able to make that last great leap of faith, and have my SRS.

Thank you Ladies for your answers :).

You know I feel that I've changed a little recently. I feel that my mind has become more feminine but I don't know why and I want to have my female body and life stronger than before. I think this change has made me hate my testicles and erection.

But I will be patient and take your advice. I will see a therapist :).

There's like a little internal switch that flicks over, one day you're trying to figure out who or what exactly you are and the next, you're a woman, and you know you always have been, and once you realise this, the whole process tends to seem very frustratingly slow.

Mmmmmmm, try seven years April the fifth since I came out..

Seven long year's, plus,I actually started out to fight this, the coming girl.

I knew that it was going to cost me,probably my wife, which it did,and so

few of us want to fight the innate gender coming, that a psychiatrist was

more than happy to take my case, until the woman won out.My journey

has felt like it has lasted forever and a day.But I am on the down hill slide,

I can see home base,my ship is pulling up to the dock, and can see the end

of this part of the road at long last. She wasn't even a glimmer on the horizon

when this journey first started.

Yeah, it is a real treat trying to combat the effects of an unwanted male puberty, or unwanted female puberty. Who will supply these kids with funding when they try to transition as adults? Insurance companies do everything they can to weasel out of paying for facial surgery, voice/speech therapy/voice surgery, and electrolysis. Not to mention the pain we all go through with these procedures that we may not have to endure as much with proper care at an early age. I cringe at what the next trans generations are going to face. The governor and his ilk, are typical of these super-majority R led states. Unless there is a huge change in the next 6 months, I am fearful of where things are heading. I feel like more bad stuff will unfold. I do not think they are done crucifying us.

Good morning    Work day today, no pool time, and no dress.  Just a uniform top and slacks.   Thank you for asking about my wife, @Ashley0616 , she is improving all the time and getting anxious to be rid of the med vac.  She keeps telling people a couple mor weeks be even with the speed at which she is recovering, I think that is more wishful than reality.   i received both compliments about my dress as well as my ability to speak before the congregation.  My little frog was right there with me but then he is a permanent resident in my voice.  Some days worse than others and I never know until I start speaking.  Maybe I need a frog exorcism.  Oh our church doesn’t do that.  Shucks.   well the humidity is coming back today along with possible rain and warmer weather.   I guess a lot of you are getting hit with smoke from Canada again this year. I recall last year you could see and smell it here.  It a shame to loose so many trees when we need them for climate control.  I was surprised to learn the South Carolina was the largest producer of wood in the states. We have a great deal of wet and swamp land that the plant and harvest and plant again.  While some makes it to the mills to become construction material, mose goes to one of several paper mills.  Those trees are clear cut and trucked to the mills to be cleaned mulched and processed along with recycled paper.the closest mill to here makes brown board which become packaging material like corrugated cardboard.   i guess we have rather ideal conditions for southern pine tree growing.  That along with cotton, rice indigo, tobacco and cash food crops fruits and vegitables and pecans, can’t forget the nuts.  You can take that more than one way and be right.   enjoy you day whether at work or at play.   Willow

I wasn't really aware of an emotional roller coaster possiblity when I started.    A few days in I realized i had been living with some tension that I was able to ignore until it went away. One morning it was just 'why I do I feel better than usual'?   So I googled around and found that it was possible to have such a result, I was thinking it would just take time for physical effects to work on my emotions.   Some talk about finally being able to cry, I have always been an excellent crier, so on HRT I cry REALLY hard.   But laughing was never really that easy for me, and now I laugh out loud way more often. Love that part of the roller coaster.
