Actually, on many official websites for gamers...they compared 360 and ps3 games graphics(using the same game for both systems) and the 360 came out on top - it's graphics are more "polished over" or exactly the same. Take Assassins Creed 2 for example - I'll tell you right upfront the 360 was better. My roommate has the PS3 version and I have the 360 version. I call the PS3's version the "big lips" version...you'd understand if you got to compare Assassins Creed 2 side by side... Also, the ps3 and 360 have many games each but the 360 has more "adult" games. As in more mature RPGs and FTPs then ps3. Most of the RPGs and FTPs that ps3 has the xbox360 also has but in better and/or same graphics(as stated above). PS3 has lots of more...kiddy game's that are fun and simple, though, like "The Fat Princess" and things like this that xbox360 didn't bother with. I guess, though, there are exceptions in both systems.

My whole point was...the 360 often comes out on top in comparisons with graphics even if the PS3 has blue ray.

ok, we are talking graphics. yes the x box has better graphics and equal graphics in most games. but the ps3 is capable of beating it hands down. when you have a year head start. give the ps3 one more year and then compare the graphics to current x box games. or compare the graphics of the original releases of both. you really cant compare graphics on systems that were released over a year apart. they've had more time to work it out and on the ps3 they r still unlocking what it can really do

hugs, Nikki

Xbox360 all the way just make sure you get the warranty just in case you're unfortunate enough to end up with the Red Ring of Death!

I'm not sure I could choose!

I'll forever be a Playstation kid, and the Xbox controller is just horrid in comparison, but the 360 is cheaper and I much prefer Xbox live.

Right now all I have is a PS2, since I'm a cheapskate. I just crash friend's houses to play PS3 or 360 :D

It depends mostly on what you want to use it for. If you want to use it as an entertainment box along with casual gaming, go for the PS3 as it has in built blu-ray (an upcoming model even supports 3D video) and has better graphics in general. PS3 exclusives are also more casual gamer oriented. For more serious gaming, especially shooters, the 360 wins hands down. Some of the top FPS are 360 exclusives (Gears of War, Halo). But you need a subscription for online multiplayer.

I think ps3 better more free stuff, like hooken up to internet, Im not sure I think there is a membership on xbox. I know my borther inlaw pays like $50+ a year

Xbox is slighty faster online cuz of a chip in it. but i think thats the only thing,

I personally think PS3 is got a better game selection,

Granturismo 5 god of war 3 (Most brutal game ever)(EVER)(EVER) (REALLY EVER!)($60million dollar budget on it! it granturismo 5 ff13 3 highest budget games!)

Get a 64 + Yoshi's Island, Super Smash Bros, Pokemon snap, and bomberman.

Best console ever, best games ever. End of story.

Love, Maria.

ohmy.gifbiggrin.gif I remember when i saved up my allowance and worked my arse off to keep straight a's in school to buy a N64.

i had the special edition tropical (donkey kong themed i think) clear blue one.

You forgot the best game of all time though. Super Mario 64.

I've got both, but I prefer my PS3. I've had 3 360's (not because I've ever had one break, but because I lose interest and sell them for something else) I got the slim model back in July and I really enjoy it, but I still use my PS3 way more.

I prefer the PS3 because I'm always watching Blu rays and dvd's...with the PS3, dvd's get upgraded to their maximum output so it's pretty sweet looking.

I'm also not huge into online... and I don't go on often enough to pay for a subscription. Even so I've had no issues with the PS3 online and all my closest gaming friends have PS3's

aaannndd I typically prefer the PS3's exclusives, I continuously replay uncharted and God of War is mindblowing. Among others.

Also, if you like the motion aspect of the Wii, Playstation Move is actually amazing, while kinnect looks cool, I don't like the idea of no controller at all...I think move blends the best of both, camera to track full body movements, and remotes for ease of control

So overall, I'd recommend the PS3 for the amount of things you can do with it.

In my mind it really comes down to the exclusives, look at the games that are only available for one of the systems and pick which you prefer.

So if you're more of a Halo, Gears of War person, look into the 360, and if you're more into Uncharted and God of War, look into the PS3

I say PS3 because when I wanted something other than my PC to play on, I went through a lot of research and weighed pros and cons of 360 and PS3.

What sold me for PS3 initially was the fact that there's no red ring of death, and there is a free browser :)

Then I looked through my wish list for games and found that one was 360 only, and that three were PS3 only.

Needless to say, I got a PS3 and am quite happy with it (even though I use it less than my PC still ;P)

Good morning, everyone!!   Yesterday was lawn mower battery day. I've been nursing the battery on my Zero Turn mower for two weeks. It gave up the ghost when I stopped to refuel yesterday so I had to run over to the local shop to get a new one. And forgot my wallet so I had to drive home and back again.   Then, I was using the garden tractor with the bagger to pick up the clippings. I cut about 7 acres so it took me awhile. When I was done, I went to refuel it and, of course, it wouldn't start when I'd finished putting in the gas. I'm hoping it was just some corrosion on the cables - cleaned them up, gave it a quick charge and it started right up. We'll see if it will hold a charge now or turn out like the Zero Turn.   House cleaning day today. And then I'm going to just relax outside for a bit and enjoy one more warm day before our temps drop and rain comes in for the weekend.   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given!!

Striking your head against the wall, you can lose 150 calories an hour. Blue color attracts mosquitoes in two times more than any other. Most toilet paper sold for home use in France is pink. In 2014, a missing woman on a vacation in Iceland was found when it was discovered that she was in the search party looking for herself. In 2005, Mark Zuckerberg unsuccessfully tried to sell Facebook for $75 million. Back then it was called TheFacebook. Strawberries can also be white or yellow, and some can even taste like pineapples! The Boston Marathon didn’t allow female runners until 1972. Banks have therapists known as ‘wealth psychologist’ who help ultra-rich clients, who are unable to mentally cope with their immense wealth.

I attend a medical day-centre in Texas for needed medical services. It's religious oriented, so not gender fluid friendly. I of course dress 100% in female attire yet androgynous to keep both "them happy", and I really don't mind.    I of course am imposed rules that no other participant is bound by. The examples are the allowed size of my backpack, or how many visits per day I can see my Representative payee.  The gender neutral restroom use was a compromise that all off us have agreed to.  Not being able to wear tanks tops or shorts that aren't "Bermuda length" are other examples of where I am restricted more than any other participant. "Bra talk" is strictly forbidden, even though their doctor and occupational therapist were the ones that told me I needed support due to neck pain.    I found myself being reprimanded by staff three times yesterday for very petty details, and they have constantly pushed for me to remove myself from the program voluntarily. I am of course someone not welcomed in the program, but federal discrimination laws prevent them from removing me. They instead are just making life miserable with the hopes that I will leave on my own.

Nope.  I live in a rural area.  Pride events are for city folks.  The normally quiet LGBTQ+ club kind of changes atmosphere during that time, and things get a bit political.  As a non-Democrat, I avoid it.

For me, definitely the size thing.  I'm 5'4" on a good day, and 100lbs.  I can pass as a teenage boy, but never for my real mid-30s age.  And since my husband looks older than his age, I'm often assumed to be his kid.  Or folks think there's something illegal going on.      Also, my lack of the typical aggressive "masculine" demeanor.  I don't really desire the typical masculine social role, nor could I do it even if I tried really hard.  I'm usually quiet and kind of timid.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

No, they are the only provider of services I need an my area. 😑
    • RaineOnYourParade
My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.
    • RaineOnYourParade
This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.
    • violet r

    • violet r
Anyone play war and order on their phones?
    • violet r
I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young
