ack..i wish i could lose weight, im 5ft 4 and i weigh 10 stone!!!! i really need to know some excersizes or something to help me lose weight :(

anyone have any ideas to help lose weight fast. i'm also having other problem like my shoulders, they look too feminine :(

USA 140 pounds, correct?

Women's weight chart from the internet

5'-4" = 114-127 sm frame 124-138 med frame 134-151 large frame

Men's weight chart from the same source

5'-4" = 132-138 sm frame 135-145 med frame 142-156 large frame

If I calculated your weight correctly at 140 pounds, you are perfect.

Most FTM bulk up their shoulders with weight training.

Welcome to Laura's! Nice that you decided to join in with us. If you have not already done so, please read over the Terms and Conditions page. The link to it is found at the upper right corner of most any page here. This is so the younger members can participate here.

Really fast dieting usually means one is in a starvation mode, so more often than not, one ends up not only putting the weight back on, but usually with a few more pounds than when they first started dieting.

Weight is something I am battling myself, so perhaps others who have successful diets will chime in here.

We usually offer a snack tray to new members, but given the subject of your post, in lieu of the usual offerings, I'll put out some

crudites, finger sandwiches, and non-sweetened soda. How's that?

Hon, I really do feel your pain on this subject. I am an inch shorter, and .42 stones heavier than you, and I'm MtF. It's very hard to

lose weight, and harder to keep it off.

Exercises would include anything aerobic, running, jogging, bicycling, swimming, etc. Eating fewer calories, eating fewer starches,

and eliminating fatty snacks will also help big time.

when you get around to it, please do post an introduction in the Introductions Forum. Its doesn't have to be long, just sincere. :)

      Don't think Americans would go for the "compulsory" part. We kind of like not being told what to do ... Amazingly, there is great pushback on voter ID laws. The opponents say it discourages voting, especially among the poor and minorities. That is really a smokescreen IMO for those who want to harvest ballots from as many places as possible, including folks who don't exist or don't hold citizenship...

      She was a beautiful young woman ...   "What we do know is that the offender was a very violent individual and should not have been on our streets.”  Whether gender related or not, the mental health and incarceration issues in our country are incredibly bad and need to be addressed.

      Dear @Sally Stone.  I think you should author a memoir based on these posts (maybe you're already working towards that?).  You could decide at a later time if/when you might want to publish.   I appreciate you sharing your deep connection with your friend Willa (and I am sorry for your loss) and the benefit of having a Trans friend and mentor in our Life and Journey.  I was fortunate to have found one also in our TGP friend @Kasumi63.   As you know we share many common Life themes in our stories.  Drop me a PM if you'd like to chat about it.  Looking forward to the next 'chapter'.
