My First Necklace

So I have been making silver jewelry for a little while now, but I just made my first piece for myself. The picture isn't very clear, but that circle is actually a Möbius strip. Geeky, I know, but I did it more for the technical challenge. Now I gotta see if I am brave enough to wear it around my family. (Being not out stinks!)

Materials: Möbius strip & S-clasp - Sterling Sivler with polished patina finish, Cord - Dyed cotton embroidery floss.

It's very nice, and I see no problem wearing it as it doesn't scream one gender or the other.

I just realized that I should have taken the necklace off for the picture. Here is another pic that gives slightly better detail.

I purposely made the polished patina finish to be gender neutral, but even gender neutral is not ok in my family. My sisters are not allowed to wear pants and I have been getting some flak for how long my hair is.
