Autumn,

You are a strong lady and you looked wonderful and professional. Photos can never compare to the real thing but you look great in photos so I'm sure you look even better in person.

I'm sorry this happened and that you will be forced to find new employment but it will be better when you can be yourself and that is what's important. Things will get better.

Was it a woman who told you to change or go home? Maybe it was jealousy :D

*hugs*

You looked just wonderful Autumn.

Is there a dress code for work? You have already come out at work so if other women can dress as you did, you should also be able to. I do know that a lot of medical facilities require staff to wear scrubs or pants and not dresses. Could that have been it?

Hi Autumn and g'day ,

I transitioned at work (Hospital Ward Environment) after taking about one month off to allow the patients that new (him) to filter through.

Needless to say I encountered zero problems from most staff and patients because the standard of my work at that time was excellent.

I DID however in the early days at least come across many dress situations were I was pulled in by my Director and told clearly to modify my uniform (with the exception of the top, skirt or trousers were the option.

At that point I was absolutely certain in my mind that it was because I was ts that I had been singled out...

However on reflection and with life's journey I realise that other women were also pulled up for similar dress codes.

In my opinion and this is my opinion I believe that moreso in the early days of transition we are obviously evolving and we over think!! that it is because we are ts but in truth it is often just the price we pay for being female!!

That being female sadly carries it's own descriminations often mutes ration thinking when we think it is because we are ts etc.

Hope you are well , Michelle xx :)

I had to go to the court house before work, so i was me. I figured I might as well just go in.

They told me change, or go home. :(

Autumn you look Beautiful and I really love your hair. The dress to me seems appropriate for court. This actually angers me, this is who you are and there is nothing wrong with how you look. I would love to get together with a bunch of the lovely Lady s here and set outside that court house and protest their behavior. I could understand if the dress was really short or showed to much cleavage, but yours does not. I stand beside you girl with all of my support. You look Great!!!!!

Love Lillian

I love your willingness to let go of a bad situation and keep your eyes on what is important... Making the necessary changes, including work location, in order to get what you need to be who you are. And with a minimum of torture :)

Thanks for the inspiration!

This pot is kinda old... But...

I'm now completely full time, everyday, every hour. I work in scrubs so I bought a bunch of purple and pink stuff and now just wear those. Except on Friday's when I can wear jeans (Dress down day) but I sill have to wear a lab jacket. No problem. Today it's low hip hugger jeans, a tight blach tee and a white ruffle top on top.

Hint to all of you that wear low riding jeans. Low rise panties... I sat down and my red panties were sticking out from behind me. OMG!!!!!!

I have now tucked them down into my pants and pulled my shirt down as far as possible.

Take two   blood letting is complete it took two of them pesky little mosquitoes.   our dog came to us mostly potty trained. She had a few “I can’t wait” moments but for the most part she was good.  She learned to ask th be let out. We had a bell on the door and taught her to ring the bell.  Then she learned how to open the door herself.  As long as it wasn’t locked out she’d go.  We had her trained to a hidden fence and collar she would go to the limit and sit and wait for us to tell her it was ok. She has always responded to verbal commands or my whistles.   Oh and there are obvious negatives about a dog knowing how to open doors.  She would disappear and we’d suddenly see her out the window.  Or we’ would let her out and suddenly realize she was sitting with us.  She never learned to close the doors, only open then.

It took me less than 6 months, in how my body quickly responded to hormone therapy, I was once a 40 jeans size, and now I'm comfortably wearing 12 to 14 sizes. Estrogen can speed things up and can slow things down in order to make adjustments. Seeing a treating doctor is very important to monitor the hormone levels to avoid possible side effects later on in life.

I actually have Yoga as part of my exercise routine at the moment.  Since I'm still in the first month (of three, arbitrarily chosen by me) I've only got it slated for weekends, Sat/Sun.  I am finding out though if I get a little in during my morning wake up that when I get to my cardio in the evening, my joints don't ache as much. Right now the routine is: Weekly - Minimum of 3 days of cardio Weekly - Minimum 1 day of Yoga Monthly - Single endurance jog, preferably on Sunday I want my big thighs and butt to kinda hang around, so I am going to work some cycling into the mix after the third month. So far though, with the help of the Yoga stretches, Down 14lbs in a month. Next week is month 2.  ;_;  Going to put the tredmill on a slight incline to see if I'm ready for it.  If ya don't hear from me, the tredmill ate me. Oh!  I use a product called Yoga Stack 52, so I can Yoga at home.  It's just a deck of cards with the poses, difficulty, areas they stretch, and a nifty QR code you can scan to see a demonstration.

Overly emotional language always helps civil discourse. Not.

I often see people on the political Right claiming that all the wealthy elites are funding the "Radical Left".  But what I see seems to be the opposite.  There seems to be no lack of "big money" funding the Right.  The so called "Radical Left" is completely disorganized.  The "liberal media" (controlled by the wealthy) seems to be committed to presenting "both sides" of everything (including trans issues) whereas the Right makes no such pretense.   It should be noted, that in 1930's Germany the wealthy industrialists had no problem supporting the party (that can't be mentioned here). I have seen very few on the Left (out side of a few on the fringe) supporting an authoritarian regime.  Whereas plenty on the Right seem fine with it - down to many local MAGA folks.  Most of the GOP doesn't seem willing to even commit to accepting an election that they don't win.  Both Gore and Clinton accepted their loss despite having actually won the popular vote.  (it's that pesky electoral college thing)   Some on the Right claim to be oppressed by not being allowed to oppress certain minorities.  And Rightwing authoritarianism is now considered "Patriotism."  Go figure.

Technically, it's before noon ;)   Uneventful day so far. I have my personal devices limited to 15 mins of screen time a day because I had a C lol, only problem really is the fact I do a lot of my social interaction online because most of my friends are in another state... been a little lonely, I guess? Plus I do a lot of reading and such online, and use my phone for references to draw, so there's a lot I don't have access to. So, just an annoyance now.   Anyways, fixed the C, hopefully I'll have normal things again soon ^-^   My mom's been having me take this herb pill in the mornings that is supposed to help with anxiety/ADHD-type symptoms, but I still have been having about the same amount of trouble focusing and sensory issues, so I guess it's not working haha

Claire shares the same first letter as my male name.  I tend to prefer shorter names to long ones, and this one seemed feminine to me without going overboard. I was inspired by Claire Danes, Claire Underwood, and Claire Dunphy (upon whom I always had an enormous crush ).  Plus, it just felt right. I don't know if Claire will be my final legal name, but it's stuck longer than the others I've tried on.

I always loved Ashley. I named my 2006 Roush Mustang that too. I also had a crush to Ashley Force who races in NHRA.

      Its just my name.
