Voice and Singing Lessons (with audio clip)

I've been considering taking singing lessons, maybe joining a choir. I just need some sort of outlet to be creative but also want to learn. I've been thinking more and more about my voice, trying to figure out if I were to sing in a choir what part would I be? What can I change (in a healthy way) about my voice so I can sound more male? Do I sound male? I figured some of the people here might be able to figure that out. My last audio/video had quiet audio. This one is kind of loud so turn your speakers down then slowly increase.

[warning, it is kind of loud]

Great job!! definitely 100% male.

I wasn't in a choir, but I did perform in a couple musicals. Comparatively,my singing voice is, or was(been a while) around the same area as yours. So if you were to go into a choir, I'd think you'd probably be a baritone (or just a little higher, think that would be tenor if I remember correctly). As for singing ability, if I could do it, anybody can. So,,,go for it.

don't know if that helped or not.

on a side note, came across this right after I posted a topic about vocal ranges

Definitely male. No doubts. Your voice passes 100%.

I can't help you with the singing stuff. I'm still learning all of that myself and working my muscles to sound female when I sing, so good luck with that and I hope you enjoy choir or whatever you decide to do!
