I can't believe I didn't see this forum before. Too bad there's not much activity in it.

Yes, I'm a gamer!

I'm addicted to WoW, tho I only play when I'm home so like 4 days a month. Right now I'm a level 69 human (female) warlock and I love it! The same avatar I have here I also have on my guild website and I tell them I'm a woman and they believe it.

I have a PS2 and Nintendo DS and my latest game I'm enjoying is Bully. I've got almost all the Guitar Hero games (missing one because I don't really like Aerosmith *that* much)

I just saw this thread. I have played video games for a long time, mostly PC and I love RPGs. Right now it's mostly Warhammer Online and World of Warcraft but I played Final Fantasy XI for a long time because I really like the mithra and their outfits. I took every profession to at least level 30 and that took forEVER! I always play as a girl and everyone believes me, because I AM a girl :) I played Morrowwind for a year and maxed out everything. I cried when I finished the main quest and the voice told me I was the chosen one. I haven't played Oblivion yet, but it's on my computer. I also like to play little time waster games sometimes, like Dragon Quest, when I have a few minutes. System Shock 1 and 2 were great games and scary.

I am a gamer too, I have Mass Effect for the Xbox 360 but I have not been playing it much lately. I really like Civilization 4 and Galactic Civilizations 2. I have enjoyed several MMO's as well, such as Anarchy Online and SWG. I also played WoW for a while and Second Life.

We have a Colecovision. (it's packed away somewhere in the attic)

Never had an Atari but we had the adapter for Coleco that played Atari games. :D

games have come a loooooong way from colored blocks and geometric shapes and one-button controllers.

I finished Tomb Raider Underworld now and I think I'm getting too old. I don't like races against time, but I wanted to have all secrets and relics and therefore I had to try it several times  IMHO, the best part is still the second one and the best level is "Venice"

I've been playing a fun game for the past week or so. It's called Call of Atlantis and it's from SpinTop Games. It's mostly one of those 'line up three of the same thing and watch other things drop down' type of games with some easy puzzles thrown in. The 'line up three things' parts are timed, which I'm not really fond of because I don't like that kind of pressure, but it's not too hard to beat and generally you have enough time to complete each level. Especially with the special power ups and things you get.

I sit down to play for a minute and suddenly it's an hour or two hours later :) . You can download it from the SpinTop website and it costs about $20 but you can play it free for an hour before you buy it.

I've beat it three times and I need to uninstall it so I stop losing so much time.

I have been a gamer for so long.....oh god its a problem. But! Not as bad as my girlfriend. Anyway, I like playing MMO's like Guildwars, but also enjoy nice games like Bioshock, Portal, and Wii Fit!

However, I do so miss those fun old PC games with their eye-gouging 16-bit graphics like The Secret of Monkey Island.

I can't really afford to get any new games right now...I have rent to pay. Stupid rent.

As far back as I can remember I have been playing video games I started on a Commodore 64and later moved on to the NES which I still have and the box in which it came well I am primarily a console gamer and over the years I have made a modest collection of sixteen consoles (eleven home and five hand-held) currently I am playing House of the Dead on Sega Dreamcast and Turok 2 on Nintendo 64 but I plan to go back to Final Fantasy VII and finish it I started that one about a year ago and only recently got to disk three that is the price I must pay for the size of my collection <_<

MMORPG's and RTS for me. I don't like RPG's or 99% of console games. They're too lonely, especially the RPG's where you're fated to end with a planned ending unlike MMORPG's.

Starcraft was my first RTS back in 2002-2003 and my first online game. Ragnarok Online was my first MMORPG in 2004 and World of Warcraft was my second.

HAHA. First post under this topic.

I'm not a hardcore gamer only because I don't have the money to buy loads of games, but if I did, I would be the ultimate basement dweller. My favorite games are currently RPG's  like KOTOR, Mass Effect, and World of Warcraft. Sims 2 is a lot of fun too though I don't have it for my Mac -_- It's either RPG's or needlessly violent games that I like such as Burnout or GTA. I do want to try Spore and Fable 2 when it comes out, they look interesting.

What kind of games do you guys like/play? PC or console.

There are quite a few gamers here! I'm a hardball RPG player, I have A PSP and PS2 and mostly filled with

RPG's and action games... so many to list so little time...

MORROWIND! And did I say MORROWIND? Gosh darned I love that game.

Oh my god I wasted too many days neigh weeks or months playing that game and the expansions. That was one of the best games I've played on the pc since ever. That and the first Neverwinter Nights. Those two games sucked up too much of my school work time where I should have been working on my projects. LOL

I Love:

- I love ALL Metroids, I've played them all, and I love em all :D

- RTS Games like:

+ StarCraft2, I love that game. I waited 12 years for it and I love it.... (1 rant though. The rating system for published maps is horrible, there should be a search option or another way to look for new maps and such)

+ The Command and Conquer Series.

+ WarcraftIII

- I like WoW too, but Im not currently playing for I am waiting for Cataclysm.

- Civilization Series.

- Mario Games

- Party Games

I play but dont love as much:

- FPS game like CoD.

I dont like:

- Most racing games, the only exceptions are:

+ Mario Kart Series

+ Track Mania Series

- Fighting games, with just a few exceptions:

+ Smash Bros. Series

+ Street Fighter Series

Well thats it for now :P

I guess I do consider myself a bit hardcore

If I think of something else to add to the list I'll put it in another post, I suppose :P

Currently playing:

SC2

WoW

Just Cause 2

Dragon Age: Origins

Oblivion

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Tatsunoku vs Capcom (Haven't really gotten around to starting it.)

Dragon Quest 9

Final Fantasy 1 (It's amazing having it on my phone since I always have my phone on me)

Smash Bros. Brawl (Really out of practice and I can't bring myself to play it since playing CPUs is boring and I haven't gotten my Wii registered with IT yet)

TF2

(Planning on) BlazBlue CS (Once I have a chance to pry it from my roommate. xD He's a serious player and was one of the top Bang Shishigami players in the world in the CT days)

I consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer B) Would life be worth living without games?????? :P

I play pretty much only Survival Horrors and FPS games, stopping sometimes to play WRPG's to slow the pace down when my trigger finger starts to switch and I stealth round my work thinking a Hellknight is gonna be awaiting around the corner LOL

I have a pretty large collection of consoles but my fav is definitely the Dreamcast, so unloved, people are just mean to her!!!!! My Dreamcast is a girl called Alicia

At the minute I am trying to play through all the Devil May Cry games, Vagrant Story, Galerians, Digimon World 1 and give Shenmue antother play through, I do have a life honestly!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am definitely a hardcore gamer. I particularly love RPGs, Adventure games, and Platformers. Right now, I am playing through Persona 3 Portable, Biomotor Unitron, and Tales of Vesperia. I am positive that my favorite console is the Gamecube; I just love the little thing! It has a ton of fun games, and a playful controller design that works very well.

The Gamecube such a cute little pad ^_^ I don't get why so many people claimed they didn't like it or it was awkward  I played through all the Resi Evil games, a series that has never been kind to controllers LOL and it was perfect, I could dodge Hunters and Lickers with ease, after playing those for a while and then going back on my PS2 I easily prefered the Gamecube pad, so comfy and all the buttons are very well located unlike the Xbox, the less said about their original pad the better...........I am sure Micorsoft will thank me for not going on about how awful it was LOL

I would consider myself a gamer. I've been playing games since I was little and first started playing games on the NES. Then I moved to the SNES and have been gaming pretty much since then. I want to sort of cut back a little bit because it can be a huge timesink and I feel sort of embarassed playing games at my age as much as I do (I'm 23 and soon to be 24). But I just get a lot of enjoyment out of them so I don't know.

I can pretty much enjoy any type of game except for RPGs (and only lately b/c I used to really like them back when I was little and I would still consider Chrono Trigger to be one of the best games ever) and certain strategy games. I (somewhat sadly) am a fan of most first person shooters even though I know they can get a little generic but they're still a lot of fun. I'm also a real big fan of stealth games b/c I like sneaking around like a ninja. :)

But like I said I can enjoy just about any game if it's well made. I just recently played through Heavy Rain and enjoyed that despite its flaws and am excited for the possibility of it having an effect on other games and how we play them.

I absolutely love RPGs. My favourite PC ones are the Neverwinter games. Before those I was hooked on Baldur's Gate. However, when I think of RPGs, I still think of (and miss) the days of table-top gaming with a bag of dice and a few sheets of paper. Ah, those were the days.

I do spoken word acting, and give Trans 101 talks and other public speaking.  I wear make-up for those occasions.  Sephora is easy for me to get to, and has a foundation that does a good job for me and the sales folks there are Trans Friendly.  Their eye shadow pallets are also fun to use. Another source of my foundation is Ulta which carries Dermablend that does a consistent job of my lower face and chin.   I just use good old Revlon lipsticks because I ruin them by leaving my purse in the hot car too often.

I'm not interested in makeup, jewelry or nice clothes or girly stuff.  It's made me wonder at times.   It saves some money.  If I wore a skirt it would likely  be denim.  I thought about a woman's skirt suit but nah.   Neither of my sisters are into that stuff either.  One likes peasant chic (still a 60s flower girl)  and the other - the only time she has ever worn a dress was at her wedding.  Jeans at all other times.   Jeans and t shirt here.  Content being a girl.  Weirdo. Weirda? Never mind.

@Ladypcnj Before posting links to other group's websites, PM one of the Staff (preferably an Admin) and have them check that site out.   We have specific rules here regarding age appropriateness and would need to know that the other site is in line with those rules.  We do have members here between 13 and 18 and other sites need to be safe for that age range, legally and otherwise.  Also, we are not a dating or pick-up site, not do we allow people selling things to advertise here.  As I said clear the link with a moderator or admin before posting it.  Mod's and admins do check out posts and if we find problem links we will remove them and notify the OP of a rules violation.  Go to https://www.transgenderpulse.com/community-rules to understand where we are.

I really don't think that's a good idea. The unity of the LGB and T community is historic and has been central for both groups rights. And the vast majority of people advocating for splitting the two are transphobic LGB's who are broadly condemned by the community anyway.

A bit late in updating, but I've had the draft of the official diagnosis and have (as yet unconfirmed) an endo consultation next month.   Next to arrive will be the supporting documentation for my new passport application for my correct gender.  This will then be my official ID for all the other updates - bank, tax, payroll etc.   It just feels good to to be proactive again rather than waiting for other people to move at a leisurely pace.
