hmmm like the funny bear.... a brew ha ha

but back to the point, i think we have all felt that way at times. I cannot count the number of threads ive started that have just died totally after 4 or 5 posts.. there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why a thread lives or dies

Huh??? Oh wait...I keep forgetting what this thread started out as. I think the girl who started it was just moody cause she had a penis back then or something.

I have gotten confused recently - is

Is the thread the stick or the dog that came back attached to it?

A five hundred pound dog is impressive but a five hundred pound stick is just a tree.

It''s a cockroach actually and will be here even after the nuclear winter or the comet hits, spluttering away on some old computer till the battery dies.

Attention All Health Food Enthusiasts!

This Important Joint Announcement

From

The Food And Drug Administration

And

The Department Of Agriculture

It is a fact that insects of the order of Blattaria or Blattodea (Cockroaches) will survive after a nuclear winter, they will survive through pestilence and climate conditions that will obliterate the human species. Military scientists have been studying them secretly for years trying to adapt them to become virtually indestructible soldiers but they tend to drop their tiny rifles and run for cover whenever you turn on a light so the plan was abandoned and a second study was begun to determine what makes them so resilient.

The answer: They only eat garbage.

No help to the military as they already train their personnel to survive by eating anything they can find.

So this is to aid all of you who are still eating healthy......

STOP THAT!

Sally

In New York City they only ticket you for over parking- the penalties are obviously much more stern in Johnny's neighborhood.

TWO HOUR PARKING MEANS TWO HOURS!

Now you know what the parking meters are for - to raise revenue for the kudzu cutters!

Actually word is that he had just run into the store to get a gallon of milk and stopped to chat with an old buddy.

Apparently his wife fled the encroaching vine and took a wrong turn. Faint cries have been heard but so far no one has been able to cut through the kudzu fast enough to reach her.

Food is lobbed in that direction periodically and a herd of goats is on it's way from Georgia who have experience in kudzu rescue

And the Aussies thought they had environmental hazards!

Have a Hakuna Matata day everyone!

As long as we are in Lion King mode. It's a real Swahili phrase that really does mean "No worries"

So may your hearts dance today. May the sun shine upon us all and for a little while at least may all the love that flows here ease your heart and brighten your day.

Sounds great! I am so hungry I could eat a whole roast pig by myself today.

Whoops! Sorry Pumba!! Come back-I didn't mean it!!

My bad.:(

But the dancing girls and the food are still here. Party down! (or whatever the current phrase is.)

Sally can you also play the ukulele?

Link to comment

No, I can play the drums, I think that Dee Jay can play a little slide-steel guitar - Lizzy can play Aloha Oe on Harmonica - I'm not sure exactly what all of that would sound like but we could give it a shot.

Sally
