Killer Thread

Oh, i do that too sometimes Xp i know it's -really- bad when i kill my own thread...my very first thread(my intro) is sort of standing in a 3 foot hole and continuing to dig, i'm afraid...i felt sorta bad 'cause i knew i was taking a risk bringing up chatrooms, which were a bit off-topic, and then kaput.

I'll try my hand at is thesis writing opal metioned... Obviously no thread can be infinite in length, and a thread's growth is presumably linear, if a bit unpredictable. There's probably a small probability of a thread's popularity going exponential based upon the poster's reputation and how close the post is to widely celebrated holidays, when most non-lurkers are celebrating wih their friends and family. If there is a major disaster people might log on to news sites for information and log on to check forums after they've gleaned the juice, or if there is an event such as a large snowstorm that leaves multiple people in various locations stranded at home, they may spend large amounts of time online to allieviate boredom. State of the community, be it the world, nation, or state, could also play in. For instance, if the mood of the world is grim because of a recent war, universal thread activity over the cybersphere may be depressed. Content may or may not be relevant depending on the environment and factors such as the squee factor or heartstring resonance. If one has a decent understanding of these factors as they play on a specific thread one can presumably peg the thread's expiration date and, if given enough data on particular users log on and what content they are most likely to notice and/or comment on, they may be able to predict the last post and poster.

There's my two cents on the matter ^^

Its a commonly known fact that we all think over the hard questions of life in the toiler or shower...

But this is ridiculous!

I kid you not, I almost threw my computer across the room! DDD:

If there was a spider that big (or any size, for that matter) on my toilet paper, I wouldn't even sit on that toilet! No matter how badly I had to go, no matter if it was number 1, 2, OR 3! I would hold it!

Not that I have arachnophobia or anything but I can't even look at the picture!

One look at something like that and my house would be for sale-if there was anything left after I fried that thing with a flame thrower that is.

I have shared rustic cabins with spiders in areas too far too reach so I just went to bed - bats are another matter - I do not want something that is so prolific in developing guano sharing my quarters.

On a lighter note - I am glad that this topic survived until Valentine's Day, just shows you how much heart it has.

Love ya,

Sally

Spiders aren't that bad! Most of them aren't THAT poisonous, not in a fatal way. The bite just festers a while and a golf ball hole develops, no big deal.

And even the ones that do bite you, especially on your neck or other tender parts while you sleep, they don't mean anything by it! It's just a friendly reminder not to roll over them in your sleep. They love the warmth of your bed clothes. what fanged creature wouldn't.

So remember a spider can be your friend, so cultivate an inner-species understanding. Carefully explain to the next eight legged furry monster your concern, like how they hide in your shoes, and how they run up your bare legs when you don't expect it. And suggest there are better was to show their love.

And cherish that little furry spiderweb ball full of eggs, in the corner of your parlor, the one about to burst open with hundreds of lttle spider babies, rushing out to discover a new world! So cute!

Be sypathetic to your spider buddies. Establish a raport and a common respect.

Then put on those pointed toe heels or cowboy boots and squish 'em gooey dead as they scurry for the corners of the room.

I can see by your outfit that you are a cowboy. I see by your outfit you are a cowboy too. We see by our outfits that we are both cowboys. If you get an outfit, you can be a cowboy too. :D

Talking about Cowboy, I guess it is better to talk about yourself than to talk about others.

Speaking of me.......

Today is National Gum Drop day right in the middle of Random Act of Kindness week smack dab in the middle of  Pull Your Sofa Off The Wall Month, Return Shopping Carts to the Supermarket Month and Spunky Old Broads Month.

I'm not telling anyone what to do...but if you have a  gum drop loving spunky old broad in your neighborhood with either a sofa stuck to the wall or a garage full of shopping carts, isn't it obvious?

Ode to a snooze button

I hate loving you

Our relationship is destructive yet addictive

Especially on cold winter mornings when the comforter warms my soul

Yet you always leave me

Short of breath and time

And then they yell.

They don't understand us

They dont want to share me

They want my time

Then they threaten me.

First it will be verbal

Then written

Then time off...in bed...with you.

Hmmmmm.

ppppfffft sexiness. Go on a 2nd honeymoon and leave the dog with me! What kinda madness is this anyway?

It's not the sexiness that's distracting you, it's the decisions of what to wear that's distracting you...

I'm a masculine woman. It's not about masculinity though. It's about expanding what it means to be a woman.

It never rains but it pours.  We had a dry spring, but now my garden is a swamp and my yard is a pond.  Get off the gravel road, and you'd need a hovercraft.    With nothing better to do, I'm going on a short trip with my husband tomorrow.  Since he's in management he usually doesn't do this sort of work, but whenever he does I usually go along.  And he already knows not to try staying in a hotel, because I want to sleep in the bunk in the truck.  So much more cozy.    And for a couple of days, GF can actually take care of her own kids instead of leaving them to me....

I have played clarinet, but without talent.  And while I *can* sing, I think listening to it would be an acquired taste.

Something that would help is reducing salt intake which causes the body to hold water and causes inflammation, another thing would be to add cardio to your exercise routine. Lowering your overall body fat will affect your face appearance. Hope this helps :)

Hi Sally, okay I'll head on over to your post and check out your makeup techniques.
    • Sally Stone
Hey all,   It's been a while, but I blogged a whole series on makeup.  It's an eight-part series where I talk about my techniques.   Here is the link to Part 1:       Hopefully the blog series is helpful.

Oh, I can relate to that one Vicky, leaving lipstick in hot weather  I've lost count how many times I had to purchase new purses.

Thanks for the replies, as an admin from my own group I understand the same rules, agreed.

I do spoken word acting, and give Trans 101 talks and other public speaking.  I wear make-up for those occasions.  Sephora is easy for me to get to, and has a foundation that does a good job for me and the sales folks there are Trans Friendly.  Their eye shadow pallets are also fun to use. Another source of my foundation is Ulta which carries Dermablend that does a consistent job of my lower face and chin.   I just use good old Revlon lipsticks because I ruin them by leaving my purse in the hot car too often.

I'm not interested in makeup, jewelry or nice clothes or girly stuff.  It's made me wonder at times.   It saves some money.  If I wore a skirt it would likely  be denim.  I thought about a woman's skirt suit but nah.   Neither of my sisters are into that stuff either.  One likes peasant chic (still a 60s flower girl)  and the other - the only time she has ever worn a dress was at her wedding.  Jeans at all other times.   Jeans and t shirt here.  Content being a girl.  Weirdo. Weirda? Never mind.

@Ladypcnj Before posting links to other group's websites, PM one of the Staff (preferably an Admin) and have them check that site out.   We have specific rules here regarding age appropriateness and would need to know that the other site is in line with those rules.  We do have members here between 13 and 18 and other sites need to be safe for that age range, legally and otherwise.  Also, we are not a dating or pick-up site, not do we allow people selling things to advertise here.  As I said clear the link with a moderator or admin before posting it.  Mod's and admins do check out posts and if we find problem links we will remove them and notify the OP of a rules violation.  Go to https://www.transgenderpulse.com/community-rules to understand where we are.

I raise my hand in the group, I have a question and a suggestion... is it allowed to share other new lgbtq+ website links here?
    • Ladypcnj
Yeah, ELF is a good brand, another brand is Revlon ColorStay last 24 hours.
