Well, asked my wife to lay with me in bed and just snuggle a little while and was able to talk to her. She said it was OK, but was scared that it would lead to more. Really this story isnt going there. I told her no, I just want to hold her and be held back. I took advantage of that part of the conversation to explain that I know men arent supposed to want that but that I do. I also went on to talk about being jealous of females being able to wear a bigger variety of clothes; I almost said pretty but thought that would be too strong. I also talked about women being able to talk to women about anything and men cant and mentioned I only have one person to talk to and that was her. I did say, "If it wasnt for the whole not liking guys thing..." I trailed off because after the words started coming out I decided that is going to far. I think you guys know where I was going with it. Now, what we talked about wasnt in that exact order but that is the gist of what I said. She didnt really say anything back but didnt tense up like she usually does. I hope she really listened to me and IF counseling goes to a transgender diagnosis, I have cracked the door a very little already. I plan on trying to continue talking to her like this to keep the thought in her head.

Oh, something else I did was, when she asked me about the new clothes she bought, I actually thought about it and gave her my opinion. I also used that time to really think about the clothes. It was kind of fun.

Ah, Baby Steps. And it sounds nice as well as like it worked .

The journey isn't all bad when we have the wisdom and patience to take it slowly and carefully as you are.

OK, keeping you informed... Got to talking to my wife again and through discusion not polite to mention here, she made a joke that maybe I have GID. I looked at her in suprise and said "Gender Identity Disorder"? She said, "Just kidding, you dont have GID, they are discusted with their bodies and are discusted at their penis." So she brought it up. But that brings up a question, and I know that I need to go to counseling just want opinion, if I want to be a woman but am not discusted with my body, does that mean I dont have GID? Maybe this is not a question that yall will answer, which is cool I understand, just curious.

At this point, it's more of a revulsion than disgust when it comes to that what needs taking care of. There was a point where I could deal with it. I am married with children after all. But I quickly reached a point where the GD just made it impossible to deal with.

Well, different people have different degrees of body dysphoria.....

It's not a prerequsite to being GID, but it's common....
