Well I got released to the hotel. Highlight of that day ..... a 20 something nurse teaching a 63 yr old about feminine hygiene products and procedures. She wanted me cleaning body parts I still have trouble finding. Sheesh.

Hey had my one week follow up.

I want to appologize to every woman for not being more sympathetic when thy had their pelvic exam, I can now appreciate the stirrups comments in a new light.

Slight panic attack today, full bladder and couldn't start my stream. Dang felt like BPH all over again, might have done something to the prostate during dilation.

It finally cleared it self after several weak attempts, note to self, don't wait so long and it'll work OK.

So being here solo is no big deal, I've done it hundreds of times with my work.

Trouble is this is a bit different, major surgery and lots of recovery time to over think things that have weighed on my mind for the last few years.

The crying jag began and would not let up for hours. OMG I really needed someone to hug me and tell me everything was all right and good. At least I had a lot of my good friends on FB, many whom I met here, giving me virtual hugs and talking me off the ledge.

Ah well less than a week and I'll be home and all this but a memory.

Today was, after an all nighter with my peeps on FB since my night is their day, make up on and go to breakfast.

Back on FB to catch up on the stuff I missed in the 20 minutes it took me to eat.

Oh well dilate and breast massage, sigh, than on FB to wish everyone good night.

Clean up and shower, dang got to reapply my make up, need to plann better, oh well practice makes pretty.

Think I'll wander to the Foodmart while the room gets cleaned and have a bite to eat and buy supplies.

Walking out with my bag, sudden twinge from the back, OMG just what I need a pinched nerve. Hobble back to the hotel and flop on the bed in pain.

Dang no one on FB. Soccer on TV not bad, watch music videos, check FB, this is living girls, but wouldn't trade it for the world.

Two week follow up in the morning, get my flight release and I'm ready.

Pick up at 2100 local for a 0030 departure, arrive DTW 1630 local.

Wow, it's been a quick three weeks and I haven't finished or started shopping.

Guess i should start packing.

Wow, you will be back before you know it - well within about 16 hours or so of knowing it,

Looking forward to chatting with you in similar time zones - we were always 12 hours apart - If I wasn't always up until 2 AM I would have missed you entirely.
