Dealing with electrolysis prep during RLT

So I have been doing RLT now for about 3 weeks and I have my next electrolysis appointment at E3000 in a couple weeks. Normally about 4-7 days before my appointment I have to stop shaving so that they can tell which hairs are active and which aren't and it also makes it easier for them to spot them. In the past before RLT I would just go to my appointments in girl mode but now that's not really an option plus I would feel awkward/uncomfortable going back to boy mode.

How do others deal with this period of awkwardness? I will most likely not go out that much leading up to my appointment but I will stick to girl mode. Luckily my job lets me work from home 16 hours per week so I will probably use that too. BTW this will be my 5th clearing but there is still quite a few hairs in the upper/lower lip areas.

Lots of girls just brave it fuzzy faced, however, make up is an option as long as you're not caked, working from home is a good idea, too.

I have not had to deal with this yet but it may come up. I just don't think i could do male mode again. It would be as hard as it was to go full time. Ugh

If it comes to that i'm afraid i'll be the bearded lady. Something else to accept. Oh well such is life.

My age and length of time on HRT have made this a non issue really, the stuff on my face is hair which women my age who are post menopausal develop anyway, so it looks like old lady face hair offset with my normal Derma Blend foundation, It feels like the dickens, but no one has dropped over in a faint from looking at me, and no one has called my bluff on what I am. I could use clown white makeup and I am insignificant enough that no one would see me.
