Best way to get rid of hair

Hi all,

I have very thick black hair on my legs, chest and stomach, when I shave I get a vey itchy bad rash, I se lotions etc but nothing helps, is there a better way that won't cause such a rash?.

Conditioning the skin for shaving is a process that takes time. I hadn't shaved my face for several years when I decided to just get rid of the beard and accept who and what I am. The first three or four times were a bloody (and I mean that litteraly) mess with pain and rash. Lots of lotion and some time and shaving now is easy on me. Your chest, arms and legs will just take some getting used to. You might try shaving in a tub of nice hot water and use lots of shaving cream. Then lotion the living daylights out of your shaved areas when you get out.

I tend to only get a bad reaction on my inner elbow now. When I get a flare up I take an anti-histamine and exfoliate the area. That seems to work a treat!
