Plan B - Surgery

As I found out in my other thread, I found out you need SRS in order to have the gender marker read as it should in the state where I have planned to start fresh, begin my new life, with my future roommates.

Since nothing is set in stone, and I'm basically playing Russian Roulette with going down there hoping a passport will work.

I'm going to attempt to get surgery.

No.

I'm going to get this taken care of.

I have a consultation with the University of Maryland on the 20th at 9am, and one with Dr Fischer next year. If for some reason I'm unhappy with the results I would be getting/looking at at the UoM. Since I'm very small, like size A. My father who's ex had a tone of plastic surgery fellow post-op friends.. we hope all I need is libo, or something with no visible scars... I'll have to borrow some money for it and get a loan. But I can hopefully get something with a fixed pay rate of 100 a month with a small interest fee.

This has to be done, or I can't move.

But Even though I have the consultation appointments set - one stated I could get in in January, I keep having horrible nightmares that it doesn't work out and I go down there to Florida and :(.

I just want this to be all over with. Once this gets done. It will be over. I'll be in the clear. No more worries or tears. I've been nonstop praying to my gods and talking to my spirit guide (I've been debating about posting about that on the Spirituality area).

Maybe in a month I'll be on here rambling how it's finally over high as a kite on painkillers... right?

I had my freak out. I got back up. I am making the major steps to fix this permanently. Once this is done there will nothing else that I'm 'required' to do in either state to live as myself.

I don't how long you ahve been out as trans....So it's not for me to say if it's all too quick....

But I hope you're not going too fast about this.

If this is plan B, what was plan A?

Ahh its not too soon, I've been on T for a year and a half, and living as a man for nearly 3 years. Out at work, home, everything that needs to be done is done (at least in the state of Maryland) I have a male name now, legally and the way I sound and how I look now just due to the T; I could never go back. I'm at the point of no return. Not that I would ever wanna return ><. However in Florida they require SRS for you to have the right gender it on your drivers licence. And if I went down there -now- I would be outted, and it would be a living nightmare for me... and I want to go stealth.. So its no 'too soon'. Just sooner than I expected in my life right now. But what's gotta be done now gots to be done now.

Once this is done, its all over.

Plan A.. there was no plan A. ;)

oh okay. Well yea in that case it's not too soon. It was hard to tell from your original post here, so I thought I better put that out there just in case.

Good afternoon M.A.   Welcome to Transgender Pulse Forums, I think you'll find that there are a lot of us who had their first therapist reconsidering our story and recommended us to gender or LGBTQIA specific therapist. I made my first therapist cry after asking me what was my worst experience or memory. She was not prepared for the can of worms I brought to the couch. My second therapist is a gem, she's my age and knows how to work with my thoughts.    My two kids were also involved in the arts programs in school one in theater, the other combined art and modern music.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Welcome.   This can be a good sounding board and a place to say things you otherwise could not. Be yourself. Find out what that is.   Abby

I'm wearing a white t shirt and jeans.  The t-shirt is softer than a man's and slightly girly.  Feeling kinda pretty.

That's very common in internet forums and it is hard not to take it personally sometimes.   You might post "bump" with a smiley face to bring it to the top of the stack, or you might use the @ feature if there are certain people you would really like to have comment on it, and say something like Dear Abby, I would really like your input on this.  Please take a minute and respond.  Thanks!!!

The same for me... That's exactly were MmIndy came from. I started choosing female skins as soon as they became available in the few games I played.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Something else I noticed @Ladypcnj Since I use the Unread tab, I don't see threads I've read again until someone replies to it, or the author adds something.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Good morning @Ladypcnj   Some posts get lost in the busy times here. It also maters how people navigate the site. Some only look at their notifications, or tap the All Activity tab which shows them thread they've commented on. (how I see it)... I on the other hand use the Unread tag under Activity. I don't think people ignore post as much as they get caught up reading threads they've already been active in.   Best wishes, stay positive, and motivated,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

What to do if post is being ignored?

LOL.  I have done this more than once.
