A Tremendous Affirmation Of Inches Lost

I have told you about my weight loss and how well it is going and about going down a full dress size but that is not all, the affirmations just keep on coming.

People that see me at work are beginning to notice a change in my face as well as my stomach.

I am getting compliments on my clothing - I am not dressing any different but now clothes are beginning to look better on me as they can hang a little looser and flow when I walk.

I even tried on a couple of 1XL tops Yesterday and bought them both - I could only get away with a 3XL if it was knit so that it could stretch just over 2 months ago.

But the biggest victory of all came this afternoon when I stopped by IHop to have that wonderful low cal breakfast and have my bacon and pancake fix for a week or so.

I had never been able to sit in the booths at IHop because you cannot slide them away from you - they are bolted ti the floor and wall - I always had to ask for a table.

The last time that I was there I had tried to slid into one of the booths as I was leaving and it was still touching me but not terribly uncomfortable so today I thought, "Why not give it a try?"

The hostess asked me how many and I indicated 1 and she asked me if I wanted a table or a booth - the booths give you a bit more privacy so I decided to ask for the booth - I slid into the booth and there was room to spare - I had a very delightful meal and left very happy with my progress so far.

It just takes dedication, there will be days and even weeks when it seems like you may not be losing a single pound but often you are still losing inches - never give up - never surrender (to Krispy Kreme especially)>
