Woke up' fed the cat,let her out, dressed with my feel good clothes, and off to work for only one more day, then vacation with my honey and see our middle child. Frankly the warm, open and caring about other, non complaining child...Mia Oh the god deed. stopped two people from crying, and one called me an angel.

I spent most of last night here in the forums and in PMs with my friends till around 2AM, gat a little sleep and came back here at around 7:30 AM, I've been off and on in the forums and on the PMs with friends while I edit images from a party on my other computer. And During my breaks I ordered a new dress and a couple of other nice things to make me happy and Yes, Donna Jean and Lizzy have gotten me to buy an ankle bracelet! :D

I did something neat with the program we are learning in class, so the teacher showed everyone it. ;) It wasn't just to boost my ego - it saved a lot of time doing it my way.

Hmm...

Maybe I'll post some stuff later.

Later isn't now, we are starving for art!

You're a Python fan, remember the art museum sketch?

That would be a good thing!

Getting a PM from someone makes me happy, whether they need my help or just want to chat, it serves as a reminder that there are peopl who do want to talk to you and that can mean so much sometimes.

Bad thing, a horrible storm came raging through Texas and cut our rehearsal short - trying to get home before the hail. :(

No Tacos!

Drove through some of the hail! :o

Got home and the roof was still on my house! :D

So some good.

Love ya,

Sally

I'm sorry Jacci,

I didn't get any of that storm - I need my camera for work and I can't take it or me out into a hail storm at night (very little lightening in this one) in a storm that was mving at 50mph, winds over 70 mph - I got inside and stayed there. If it had been in the daytime or a lot more lightening - might have tried - but my only dry spot to shoot from is just inside my garage - when the wind is whipping the rain in there I can't see anything but the house across the street when I step back.

You will want to get some sort of water resistant housing before you come to Texas to storm chase - quite often they end up chasing you!

I will try the next time we get a thunderstorm, if it has winds under 40 mph - I've been losing weight and I don't want to blow away.

Love ya,

Sally

i like storms

i like watching lightning

and listening to rain

but i prefer being inside and warm

my new kitty cat blanket is a good thing not to mention it's warm

it's kinda counter intuitive

but listening to depressing music when i'm sad is a good thing

chocolate is good too

tacos are good too

people caring about me is a great thing in life, maybe the greatest

next to chocolate...

I'll tell you what I can do, you start saving your money to get yourself to Texas - that will take a while, I've flow to Australia before.

when you start getting close to enough money I'll find one of the storm chaser tour groups - we have trained storm chasers who take passengers with them to help pay their expenses and we can go togehter!

It's something that is almost in my backyard - well a huge backyard and still I haven't done it.

Maybe with the excuse of good International relations and helping out an Aussie Trans friend, I'll get up and go do it!

How's that sound, like a good thing that should be in this post or should it go under aweek with Sally! :o

No storms, all rainbows!

Hey that would be awesome! You'd do that with me? Cool! :)

I just found out it'll take over 41 hours and 3 stops-offs to get to TX from Darwin and around AU$3150 return for the flight, The price certainly wipes a smile away, I will have to save very hard indeed considering I'm unemployed on a DSP!! :o

It would be worth it though, I dream of one day being able to see a big nasty supercell or even a nader' (not too close though) :)

To be honest, with transition and saving for SRS towards the end of this year, I'll really need to get lucky and win lotto or sometheing

Hug :)

You find a way to get her and I'll make it happen - not the weather, it pretty much just does it's thing, but the panhandle storm excursion, you bet!

Or to sound more Texan, You Betcha!

That's a good thing!

Change of subject I guess - back to the original post topic - I had some interesting news.

My therapist says I will be able to pass easily in about two months!

I am in a bit of shock. :P

This thread is one of the longest I have seen - wow Zabrak you hit a good one!

Quite true.  The amusing thing about opposites is how similar they can be.   My family left Greece because of the conflict between the communists and the militarists/fascists.
    • Ivy
This wouldn't even be a problem if they would just leave us alone.  It is a no-brainer.
    • Ivy
OMG.  I'm glad it wasn't worse, and you were able to get on it quickly.  Lots of blood can be scary.

Like I said, I'm no tankie, but I do see a world of difference between Joseph Stalin and Bernie Sanders.   If the point is not wanting 'government control' the Right is pretty good at that themselves - as they've been demonstrating lately. This stuff gets complicated.

So, I am curious. Is the Governor going to mandate vaginal or penile recognition photos before one enters the restroom? Considering the Governor has no balls to do the right thing, will he have to pee against a tree outside? Inquiring minds would like to know. I love it when the job recruiters contact me about the wonderful jobs available in Oklahoma. It is so much fun telling them there is no way I will ever go to Oklahoma. When there are no workers, then they can shutter the place.

Ngl, probably Sonic the Hedgehog, the Beatles, or the Monkees. Those are the three subjects I know the most about so I could drop hours of info on them.

Isaac Asimov, Albert Einstein and Robert Kennedy, in that order.

Thank you! I'm out of coffee so I have been drinking hot tea instead. Looking forward to the 1st. It's crazy that we are almost in May. This year has flown by really quick! Good to hear that y'all got to sleep in. Hope you have a good weekend too!
    • Ashley0616
It's nice to care about others but you need to live your life as you please. No one be your only source of happiness. Love yourself and don't look back. I lost over 40 family members it hurts but apparently, they didn't truly love me. True love will always be there through the thick and thin. I can honestly say that HRT has made me think in ways that I never thought I would. I get myself some shoes or clothes every month because retail therapy not only helps but it is a reward to myself to show love. I have over 100 dresses. I have a whole walk-in-closet full of clothes and 67 pairs of shoes. I love who I am. I was born in 84 so not all people in the 80's think that way. As far as the name just take your time and be happy with it. I knew I loved the name Ashley. Take care and welcome!

Congratulations Sam,   The common saying her once someone starts HRT is: “Enjoy the ride.”   Best wishes, stay positive and motivated    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

WOW @Ashley0616 it’s good that you have skills to treat traumatic injuries, as well as the ability to remain calm while managing others needs to get yourself and the boys ready to go to the hospital. Proud mama bear skills. I’m glad that he’s doing well.    Meanwhile back at the ranch, we slept in and I’m just now finishing my 3rd cup of coffee.    Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well yesterday was not fun. I was getting ready to make dinner and I hear screaming and crying. I look over and my son put his foot through glass. He gashed near his Achilles tendon. Thankfully that is intact. I didn't freeze for a second. All of my military training came into play. I doctored him up and got Jett ready and myself and we headed to the ER. He is doing ok today. He says he is in pain but doesn't need Tylenol. He is a tough cookie!

Hi,   It's seems today is my trans birthday.  I'm beyond excited. Just picked up my testogel from the pharmacy. Although I naturally have doubts as I'm sure do we all, they are rapidly disappearing. Yesterday I was so nervous I kept claiming I'm not trans, despite grinning like a fool knowing I can pick up my prescription the next day. I'm shaking and on the verge of happy tears. I will put on my first sachet this eve. Thanks so much to this forum and kind words from people. This is the first forum I found when I began seriously questioning.
