Thanks for the kind thoughts.  Session went pretty good today.  We've scheduled out through December which is a good thing.

Finally managed to get some coffee creamer last night, probably wasn’t the best time to do so since I was having cravings, so I ended up getting cold stone creamery ice cream flavored creamer, it’s awesome ! So I’ve had my two egg omelette, my avocado toast and coffee this morning, I need to get myself ready and go over to my friends house to help with a construction project. The weather here is still quite pleasant, but then again California has nice weather doesn’t it?

I suppose its all relative.  California is a large state so weather is quite diverse!  I recall living in the Bay area in the early 70's, there were two seasons.  Nine months of dry and three months of wet.  Sort of weird for a Northeasterner used to four seasons.  To each our own!   We're getting high wind and rain today as remnants of the hurricane that hit western Mexico earlier in the week pass through.   Temps are moderate for the time of year.

Hi all!?

2's were wild this morning! Due to a glitch, I ended up on my profile and noticed that I had 2222 posts. Maybe 10:22pm tonight will be my lucky time! Or could it be a grim omen?? Who knows.

Well the thermometer on the fence says a brisk 40 degrees. Brisk my fanny, it's flipping cold. glad to have a warm cup of coffee.

I hope we get some more people at work soon. So maybe, just maybe I can work a day shift once in a while. Oh well a girl can dream can't she. One consolation starting Sunday we get to close an hour earlier. yeah.  I would like to get to my hobby desk and work on a model sometime.

Have a good day all.

The 40 degrees is all in how its presented.  On a nice sunny day, its fine by me, but today it was mid 40's yet windy and a little overcast.  Not much sunlight to buffer the shock of the cold.  I had to run an errand and the only thing I could say is BRRRRRRR!

I think some time working on your hobby is relaxing.  I spent Sunday with my son working on his car changing the timing belt.  He's not much of a wrench turner but he does OK.  We had a good day together.

I hope your day was enjoyable.

Glad you can work with your son.  I tried to show my son how to make home repairs and how to work on his car.  About the only thing I accomplished was teaching him to change the oil and filter.  he had the opportunity to learn to change the timing belt twice, replace a head gasket in his car, do simple wiring and on and on but he didn't want to.  Now he calls me for advice hey how do I ...  Oh well at least he needs me.

Cold is relative.  40 degrees with wind and rain always seemed a lot colder to me than 20 degrees with snow.  I think the wet/damp is much harder to deal with.  I grew up in Northwest Ohio and remember being outside at 15 below and not minding it.  Same when I lived in Denver one year.  Now that I live in a warmer state, 50 degrees can be pretty chilly at times.

Good morning!  The sun is up. The coffee is hot.  It’s going to be a beautiful day.  Plan on going to the beach this afternoon.

Hope everyone one has a good day as well.  To those in the path of the storms, stay safe.

And everyone needs to look out for ghosts, goblins, witches and warlocks not to mention those pesky zombies tonight.

Kymmie,

I don't think you would have been too happy in a bikini at the beach today.  Breezy 72 and the water was pretty cool as well.  Well not compared to the West Coast or maybe New England even in the summer.  Everything is relative.  I only saw one person in a bathing suit at all and no one in the water.

I was a nice day to sit on the beach and read.  Then walk in the sand.

Well around here, once it hits 50s in the spring its considered shorts weather. But I am warm blooded so I will pass on the bikini for now. How about shorts a tank top and a hoodie?

Sipping my coffee and thinking about last night, we had about 25 kids trick or treating come to our door this year, not as many as in years past, but it's still fun, we prepare for it. Another Halloween has come and gone, wow it's November, next weekend is the time shift, long dark nights ahead....

Coffees finished and I need to get ready to go out for a hair appointment.  I saw the movie "Free Solo" about a guy who climbed El Capitan without safety ropes.  It was an interesting look into his mind and relationships.  Beautiful vistas.

Good morning all!

Well Charlie Brown, another Halloween come and gone. Still no Great Pumpkin ? for Linus and a bag full of rocks. Maybe next year! By the way, I never have understood just what constitutes a sincere pumpkin patch.

Oh my goodness, no rest for the wicked, I kept waking up from 5 AM forward with my leg hurting so bad, the change in weather really gets to me and my bad leg always feels it!  I made a quick little sandwich and jammed some coffee in my face, that cold stone creamery creamer sure is good. I’ve been running back-and-forth after work to work while renovating this small apartment for myself, I’m hoping to get it done in 30 days and move out of my current apartment to live in is this loft above a garage on my friends property,  living with a much lower rent sure will help matters, but I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me to make that happen. I really need to frame out the bathroom this weekend so I can start plumbing and wiring ...

I’m going to try and stop at Home Depot to pick up a bunch of 8 foot 2 x 4’s and a 30 inch hollow core door just so I can be sure all of my spacing is correct and get the basic framing up this weekend.

Plenty of coffee will be consumed in this process ?

happy trans birthday! I can't speak personally on the subject, but I hope hormones bring you the changes you're looking for <3
    • MaeBe
That’s super healthy, to see that something that becomes common has less effect on you and that you are able to decipher these feelings.   Sadly, this trend tends to only deaden good feelings as we tend not to let bad feelings attenuate the same way.   I have noticed less euphoria, but still feel the dysphorias that I have. Sometimes the good sneaks in and reminds me, but often time it’s just me seeing myself in the mirror and being comfortable about what I see when embracing my realized self. I may not get the same buzz I once did, but I don’t feel incongruous when looking at a more “drab” reflection.    Wishing you strength, you are amazing!

Congratulations! and Happy Trans Birthday @LittleSam! That is such a BIG milestone.  I can still remember walking out of my clinic with my first HRT presciption.  I was on Cloud-9.  Wishing you all the best in the start of your new Journey!

maebe thank you I try to be. I thank God for blessings, try to share them, beg forgiveness for my shortcomings n vow to try to do better...2 priests have said no, God doesn't condemn you just for being trans...but apparently evangelicals do   I shall vtry dear thank you
    • MaeBe
Meet him at the being good to others part of Christianity. At the heart of it, there are excellent tenets of the faith. Those that condemn are judging, Jesus would have us be selfless; stone casting and all that. Are you a good person? Are you putting good into the world? If your gender is an issue for God, let God judge. In the mortal realm, let your actions be heard.
    • missyjo
and just fi sweeten it..I'm catholic n he hasn't been for years..he's evangelical..whatever that is

Let’s stick to cite-able fact. Most of my posts have been directly in relation to LGBTQ+ rights as it pertains to P2025 and I have drawn direct links between people, their quotes, and their agenda. I have made reference to the cronyism that P2025 would entail as well, by gutting, not cutting, broad swathes of government and replacing it with “conservative warriors” (I can get you the direct quote, but rest assured it’s a quote). All this does is constantly force the cogs to be refitted, not their movement. To say that agencies have directly defied a President is a bit much, the EPA did what Trump told them to do at the direct harm to the environment, the department of agriculture did the same by enacting the administrations forced move to KC which decimated the USDA.      How about Betsy DeVoss for Education? Or Bannon for anything? What about the revolving Chief of Staff position that Trump couldn’t stay filled? Or the Postmaster General, who did much to make the USPS worse?   Let’s not mix politics with racism, sexism, or any other ism. Because Trump made mainly white, male, appointments—many of them not, arguably, people fit for service—or unwilling to commit to term. I can argue this because, again, he’s up for election and will do what he did before (and more of the same, his words).   Please delineate how the selected diversity appointments have negatively affected the US, other than being black, women, or queer? Representation matters and America benefits when its people are inspired and empowered.

When I first started figuring things out, I got a lot more euphoria. Every time a friend would use he/they pronouns for me, I'd get this bubbly feeling, and seeing myself look masculine made me really happy. Dysphoric state felt more normal, so I guess I noticed the pain it caused me less.   Now, it's more just that my pronouns and such things feel natural, and dysphoria is a lot stronger -- I know what's natural, so experiencing the opposite is more jarring than everything. The problem is, most of my natural experiences are from friends, and I rarely get properly gendered by strangers, much less by my family. I've found myself unable to bind in months due to aches, colds,, and not wanting to risk damage.    It partially makes me want to go back to the beginning of my journey, because at least then I got full euphoria. I'm pretty sure it'll be like this until I medically transition, or at the very least get top surgery (you know all those trans dudes online with tiny chests? Not me, unfortunately). It's a bit depressing, but at least I know that, eventually, there's a way out of this.
    • RaineOnYourParade
Major mood, right here ^^^    I've listened to Lumineers to a long time (a major portion of it by osmosis via my mom), so that is almost painfully relatable
    • RaineOnYourParade
As for getting a button-up/formal pants suit, you can try to talk to her more -- Cis women in tuxes have worn tuxes in recent years, after all, (for example, Zendaya) so it can still be a relatively safe topic. For jumpsuits, I'd recommend going with a simple one with a blazer, if you can -- this'll make it look overall more masculine. There's a lot of good brands, but going for one without a lot of extra glitz on it will make it look less feminine under a blazer. I don't know many specific brands though since I usually just get my stuff from chain stores, sorry :<   When it comes to your hair, if you can't cut it, you can look up tutorials on fluffing it up instead. If you can pull it off, it can look a lot shorter and more androgynous instead!
