Only football I will watch is University of Wyoming. I actually hate most all sports played with a ball or a puck.

Up this morning after a nice warm shower. I got to make sure I use the remote start on the truck. So it is nice a warm when I get out there. Do my 7-2 shift today. Then a day shirt then two closing.

I'm at a bit of a loss. Sports without a ball?.....Motor sports? Please don't say NASCAR.

Oh wait. Fencing would count. Rhythmic gymnastics. Power-lifting. Competitive rowing... lots of sports you can do without a ball when you really think about it. I mean most swimming competitions... etc. They aren't televised as often though.

Most of the stuff you see on television definitely has balls in it. The only logical conclusion you can make is that the majority of Americans has a deep yearning to see men play with their balls on TV. Huh.

Good morning all,

The coffee is HOT, Black, and Strong. (HOT is all caps as a warning)

Its a cool overcast day and the birds are real active at the bird feeders as if they're predicting a turn in the weather. College level sports are my choice because it's still about the Team Sport, and not the I'm the STAR of Spoiled Millionaires.

COVID-19 has not taken my since of smell or taste yet.

Masked Hugs,

Good Morning.

It's been a while since I have said hi. Been busy starting a new personal project to keep me busy and get my mind into problem solving instead of being focused on something external instead of focusing inwardly and going towards depression.

@ElizabethStar Happy Re-Birthday!

@Jackie C. I have a similar opinion about how most Americans enjoy watching grown men play with balls. It is a funny thought and description for other people.

Mindy, get well soon.  I just got over a nasty head cold and the early symptoms were COVID symptoms.  Got tested, but I was negative, thank goodness.

Today is a Sally day, and I just got back from doing some errands.  Had to get another box of red wine?.

I hope everyone else is having a wonderful day.

Thank you @Sally Stone

I'm hoping to keep it to a mild case. I'll check in with my primary doctor tomorrow and see what they say. My two sisters survived COVID and are texting me all kinds of advice.

Feeling loved,

Mindy????

Not doing much today. Still in pajamas LOL. Latchhooking and coffee all day is my favorite way to live life. Guess I will do laundry and dishes at some point but, that's my hardship for the day.

Have a nice day everyone.

On the nose with Motorsports. For me Nascar died 30+ years ago. Can't stand the whine fest it has turned into. What ever happened to win on Sunday sell on Monday. I still cannot find a RWD Ford Fusion at the dealerships.

Mine is mostly Touring car stuff with some outlaw street drags thrown in. Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Figure skating, Roller skating now that is my speed. Or it it goes bang. Paper is always in season.

I'm not to sporty. I did watch Curling on Channel ( out of Windsor) When I was younger. I had to like some type of Canadian Sport being one set of my grandparents lived there.

I've never been much into sports myself.

I used to run some when I was a bit younger - but not competitively.  I probably should have kept it up.

In high school I wrestled, but usually got my ass whupped.  I'm just not very competitive - don't have that drive.

My job kept me in shape before I retired.

Watching sports on TV usually gets boring for me quickly, although there have been exceptions.  Super bowl parties are meh, but the munchies are good.

I know plenty of women are into sports, but I'm just not one of them.

Good morning everyone.

I spent the weekend packing and purging. It's amazing how much stuff we collected over the years. It's such a liberating feeling, heart and soul, throwing it away.

My wife posted on FB about us moving and the memories left behind. I didn't really think much of it at first until I re-read it. "...leave for the next chapter in my life with Elizabeth..." That's probably the most meaningful statement I've ever heard.

Clutching of pearls because people that don’t “align with society” party to excess is part of the problem, not a symptom of one. Cis-het folks are out there airing their sexuality, reveling in their debauchery, and displaying general anti-social behaviors all the time but aren’t reacted to in the same manner.   The most important T in this conversation is Time. As long as there is not a fascist, violent, crackdown on LGBTQ+ people, our exposure to society (at least in Western society) will continue to move it towards our acceptance.

I have three within a two block walk! You'd think I was in Seattle already! The one I have always gone to is the quintessential "local coffee shop" though; local artist's works on the wall, drinks named after customers and local geography, and it's run down just enough to feel homey. Also, I can bring my 20oz coffee mug in and get it filled for the price of a small! :D

Eczema was my excuse. *high fives!*   It's lovely when you get a nice interaction like that. Yesterday I got a "you're so sweet" from a man who I held the door for, I don't think he saw all of me until after he'd walked past so he only picked up on my outfit and body appearance. I was so paranoid that I used too male of a voice in return, but c'est la vie. I felt really nice after it though.   I tend to try to put in a lot of effort. If I wear make up, it has to be perfect, etc. I put this pressure on myself because I, too, don't have a chance in h-e-double hockey sticks at "passing".  So, I try not to make myself an "easy target".

It's just the opposite here.  There are a ton of local boutique coffee roasters in this area.  There is no excuse for bad coffee here, which is why I am always surprised when I get mediocre truck-stop coffee in restaurants.

It’s a huge difference, the laser has done wonders. I still have some stragglers, but I hope a few more sessions to try to zap those. Mostly what’s left are the white/blonde hairs, they still need a shave but they don’t really cause me much dysphoria.   I do use makeup, I barely go out without liner and mascara these days. Don’t tend to do a full face, but when I go for a little coverage I use tinted moisturizer and a little concealer under setting powder. Here’s me today, with about as much makeup as I go out with (forgive me the wings, I struggled today…), I went and got my hair done, so I had to look good for the ladies.

This is me as well. I wear dresses and skirts exclusively.  That is pretty obvious.  When I get misgendered, it's not by mistake.

These places have the best food.   Unfortunately, the one I used to go to thinks I'm going to hell these days.

I'm glad to hear it! Fruits and veggies time! I just had a greek yogurt with flax meal and blueberries and now I'm feeling better about that! I am so glad you're OK!   Just finished my second cup of coffee after an appointment with my normal stylist, I haven't see her since November! First time see her since going femme full time. I'd texted her before the appointment, just in case, but she has been super sweet the whole time. Not much hair ended up on the floor, but I'm going to need the back trimmed before long but for now I just got some shaping done.   Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that. My guess is your neighbor won't be paying the medical bill...

Doubt it, most people against the T are also against the LGB, I am bi and it all seems to intersect one way or another. Trans people are "new" in the eyes of the public so its just a weird thing for them all.

I have the same feeling as you. I often wish I had started HRT earlier or was on puberty blockers, maybe I could have been taller than 5'7. But there's nothing you can do about it now, that's life and as much as it sucks and seems pointless at times you have to work with what you are given. "Passing isn't the end all be all" I hear a lot but to me it is everything, as much as that may sound like an insane position It is just how I feel.   Anyway, on the topic of your mother, mine had the same sentiment and mostly still does along with my father. Im not sure how old you are but you seem to be around my age or younger, I am 17. But most families don't know how to deal with it and they will probably see you as your original gender no matter what you do. Their comments mean nothing really because in the end when adulthood rolls around you can just leave or at least have some independence from them.   I would also not compare yourself to other males, it will eat you alive. I just remind myself that I will get there, maybe I won't be the pillar of masculinity but ill pass one day. Envy is the thief of happiness or something like that.

I can never find coffee that matches good restaurants coffee.  The closest iv come so far was when I accidentally made a pot last week with less water than I had meant to use.  But that still wasn’t right.  Now I’ve heard put a little salt in with the ground coffee or add baking soda but I have no clue how much to use.   home baked pie in the local cafe is the best, but the best Key Lime pie was from a place called The Fish House in Key Largo. One thing they do differently is the topping is meringue not whipped cream. But it’s also made from real key limes.  An advantage of being in the keys.   willow
