I might just be weird, but feeling me thighs together doesn’t bother me.

It doesn't bother me either, but two things about that. One - It's not a fun time in the summer heat walking around for an extended period of time due to chafing. Two - I like being able to move about without worrying about anyone seeing up my skirt. There is the added bonus of gaining a much needed pocket due to the fact that women's clothing manufacturers are in cahoots with handbag manufacturers.

Good morning ladies, gents ,and those who can't live one side..

Been living night hours, but I'm off today and slept in until actual AM. Sorry been a stranger.  Like in a different world.  Also some technical problems posting on the site.  Thank you site admoditors for helping me back on here in '21  :)

@Emily michelle Wishing you the best in your conversation with HR! I'm hopeful they'll work closely with you to make your transition at work go smoothly.

Up early this morning, too much City noise outside to really get back to any decent kind of sleep so I'm just awake. Planning to get outside for some exercise in the park before starting work once it gets light outside in a couple more hours. It's always super peaceful there early in the morning, I always feel more centered after getting the fresh air, especially on a brisk morning like this one. Hoping I'll find more focus today than yesterday. I guess going on 10 months working from home because of the pandemic has taken a toll on me, and there's still no end in sight for that. Also I'm a little anxious because I have a lab check tomorrow... wish me the best that to stay off of spiro!

Alas, I just made my last cup of coffee in the house! Going to pick up some more of the Ethiopian coffee I've been enjoying lately.

Love,

~Audrey.

Good morning all! French pressed Maxwell House (cutaway sketch about product placement ?) here. Therapy went better than expected yesterday, especially for a tele-health appointment. Next session will actually be in person (mask up, sanitize them hands). I prefer in-person to phone, even during the pandemic, because I fear on the phone I'm not getting my points across well. I hope everyone is well! Have an opening shift at work today, so replies will be slow.

-Warmest regards,

Keira ?

Morning everyone,

I'm feeling better today. I half wonder if my meds are making me overly emotional. It's been about 7 weeks since I switched to injectable. I will admit that I do like feeling more emotional but I may need to get a little more control over them.

Good morning everyone.  Just drinking some hot coco with a bit of mint.  I have lots to do at work this week as I prep for a week long class with new hires.  I get to be the person they stare at for 40 hours.  Talk about anxiety.  I am so worried about the little things like can I get away with wearing my bra each day or will it be noticed. And  do I leave my clearish iridescent nail polish on?   Not being out makes things harder but then coming out in a company like this will be insanely difficult.

@Emily michelleGood luck with HR.  hope they help you on the journey.

@KymmieLGood luck with your interview. Keep positive thoughts and potrait a desire to learn.  Don't give up the search for a better job until you have your dream job.

I've been doing tons of reading on the 3 routes for meds so I know which way to ask for.  I keep seeing that injections give big highs and lows but it's also the most potent.   I am still undecided which route to take.  I also look forward to feeling free to be emotional.  Hiding emotion gets tiring.

That is very misleading statement, and one that should come with a lot of disclaimers ?

One of the benefits of injections is they smooth out the highs/lows since the delivery is more natural and predictable. Yes, depending on the actual medication, it might cause higher response shortly after injection and seem insufficient (lows) near the next time but only if its timed incorrectly for you.

Also, since injections should be overlapping a bit (meaning the absorption of the previous dose is not 100% complete before next injection) your body should never experience "shock", and that helps even more over time.

Of course, it is completely normal to experience heightened levels of emotions when your are flooded with additional hormones.

Good morning all.

Had my doctors appointment with approval to get my toe fixed.  Next appointment is my therapist on Thursday, then pre surgery testing on Friday.

Regarding HRT and levels.  First, if you have any arterial conditions, liver problems or kidney, pills are out.  So that leaves patch and injections.  I only know what I've read on the patch.  Injection of DEPO E.  I switch legs for each injection.  Yes, for me when I take my injection there is a relatively quick change (24 hours)  And a day or so before my injection I feel some depression.  I am on what I believe is a very low dose but I could be wrong.  I do know it is working for me and any mood swings are nothing compared to the ones my wife had every month.

Now that I have recognized a possible pattern I need to keep track.

Good luck with that Audrey.  My appointment got postponed, but my continuing research has made me somewhat afraid of spiro.  Hope it all goes well for you!

I know what you mean about focus.  I'm finding it hard to keep working unless I go out for something...anything.  The park sounds like a good idea.

Thanks @Ann W. Sorry to hear that your appointment was postponed, I know things are pretty locked down by you with the virus. Hoping you and your loved ones are all healthy! I imagine it's got to be very frustrating to have so many setbacks, I feel like you've been ready to start HRT and electrolysis for a while now. Cheering for you that you can do both soon! Spiro scares me too. Here's hoping that team E is fighting a winning battle over team T when I go in tomorrow. ?

Here is my "focus" for the day. The coffee I was so excited about!

Love,

~Audrey.

If I say, "Yirgacheffe" aloud three times, does it summon a cranky Great Old One? Or is that just the dark roast?

Hugs!

Hugs!

I'm picturing "Tim" from Monty Python and the Holy Grail right now.

Other coffee types available include "Harrar," "Sidama," and "Addis Ababa" (capital of Ethiopia, incidentally), but I make no guarantees what beings might be summoned by uttering these words, so please exercise caution.

Seriously though, dark roast coffee always tastes burned to me. Maybe it's because I always have mine black, no milk or sugar?

Love,

~Audrey.

Yeah, I'm in that same space. Feels like my brain is permanently overloaded and can't concentrate. I don't even have any excuse to go out. Last week was the worst - my mind simply collapsed and with it my emotions. A bit better this week.

@Audrey Best of luck for your lab check! And enjoy your coffe :)

@Ann W Sorry your appointment was postponed, that's disappointing.

That is why my Dr. is going with the patch. He told me that with the patch the medication bypasses the kidneys. With my stupidity and caused my own blood clots. the Dr. is putting me on anti-coagulant daily and the E patch.

I am not sure about how the interview went. it was with the evidence supervisor and another of the evidence specialists. both woman. They asked me three questions. I had 15 min to answer them all. I was done in like 6 min.

1 was about myself and why I would fit into the position.

2nd was being I will be dealing with all kinds of people. If how would I handle it if I got a crowd wanting evidence.

3rd was what kind of law enforcement back grown did it have.

I just answered honestly the best I could. Who knows if I will move on of not.

Hugs,

I love questions like these.

  1. "Because I'm very flexible and eager to please."
  2. "Waggle my eyebrows and say, 'It's in my pants!' Watch crowd disperse while shaking their heads and avoiding eye contact."
  3. "Dammit! The judge said those records were sealed!"

Did I get the job?

I had an interview last Thursday. I was told they'd tell me on Monday. So as Tuesday draws to a close... I guess I got my answer.

I've been on patches for over five years.  Slow and steady as she goes.  Oddly enough I'm getting some breast pain now so I know something is happening.  I don't have a lot of body fat so I am somewhat limited to what I get.  Que sera, sera!

It's 4AM and Gevalia dark roast here: oddly enough does anyone else here get "breast tingles" when they miss a dose or two? Been taking those blue tabs forever and it's like they're reminding "feed us girl, feed me" or else ogre you shall remain forever!

Shape lookin' good Maddie gotta lose those jeans and show some leg! You workin' a Amason warehouse? We 'ave a brand new, hated one here for $15/hourI understand they're redefining the meaning of SLAVERY why can't they "automate" like everywhere else?

You lost me on "miss a dose or two." I'd rather lose an arm. Though when I had to go off my HRT for surgery, I don't remember tingles. Hot flashes and night sweats after about two weeks, but no breast tingles.

In other news, my spouse was exposed to COVID on New Year's Eve (at work). We found out yesterday. Today I have a cough. Later today we're getting tested.

Wish me luck!

Hugs!

Thank you. It seemed to me when I was driving home that I had a bit more bounce in the rear end over bumps so I'm wondering if the frame was bent. I will have them check it tomorrow morning when the do the appraisal.

There is just a feeling that this is normal when I wear f clothes.  As a biological male I am supposed to, I suppose, experience dysphoria in f clothes. Instead it is reversed.  Sometimes there is euphoria about being a girl, but it is because my self-perception is lining up with my self-expression. Clothing is actually secondary.  Or third.  Secondary is what my body looks like.  I am a girl regardless of what I look like. I just am one.  As I get used to this I will probably stop talking about it.  Most women do not go around announcing they are women all the time.  They talk about themselves but the presupposition is that they are women.  Never a matter of debate.
    • LittleSam
Do you feel euphoria when wearing feminine clothes? I'm curious about why you think you are supposed to feel dysphoria in fem clothes. I totally get why you would feel dysphoria with masc clothes. For me what urged my transition forwards was the amount of gender euphoria I got from dressing like a guy , and my dysphoria from wearing anything remotely fem got worse and worse until i get rid of evey fem article in my wardrobe and all my makeup, so I could concentrate on just being me and chasing the euphoria. Dysphoria didn't go away though, because I've been misgendered constantly and it hurts more when dressed in my man clothes . However now I'm on T, my doubts and dysphoria have massively lifted and I'm excited to see the masc changes to my body happening. I do have to learn patience though lol.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/desantis-touts-florida-lawsuit-seeking-block-biden-title-ix-changes   I did not find coverage of this on CNN or Reuters, so here is a Fox News article.   This expansion of Title IX definition will not make it through the courts.  Plenty of precedence exists for requiring this sort of expansion to have Congressional action. This was poorly done.  Biden should have pushed this through Congress to make it law, instead of using regulations that can be overturned when a different administration comes in.

Well that's no way to start off a birthday. Be sure to look at your frame just behind your rear axle to make sure it wasn't bent. When I was rear ended... At first look it appeared that my bumper was folded down, however the frame was bent which also bent the floor of the bed. I'm glad everyone is okay    Happy Birthday,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well, I am a veteran.  I did manage to get an honorable discharge - just barely.  I was drafted to start with, and I wasn't wild about it.  But I figured it was my duty as a citizen, so there's that.  TBH I find it hard to stomach people who dodged the draft, going on and on about being such "patriots" and all, and literally hugging the flag. My egg hadn't cracked yet when I was serving, so I don't think being trans directly affected my time in uniform.  But there was most likely some subconscious stuff. Sorry, I don't think this is much use to you.
    • Ivy
That was just one reference that came up.  I originally saw it somewhere else.  Technically, he did call for the eradication of "transgenderism".  But it would be hard to get rid of that (whatever it is) with us still here.     Yeah, later, when he got called out on it.   I don't really see how you can say this.  Sure he doesn't know what he's talking about, but the damage is real.   I will bend over backwards to give someone the benefit of the doubt.  But at some point…. I'm just not as limber any more.   They can say what they want, but actions speak louder than words, and when I see what is happening in red states it is obvious.  They do want to get rid of us.  I'm tired of pretending they don't.

For a time I would get an anxiety attack when I had to dress in male mode.  Haven't tried it in a while.

Thank for the birthday wishes, everyone!!!   It started great...and then I was rear-ended at a highway construction site this morning. I'm OK. The woman who hit me was shaken - was going fast enough to deploy her air bags. I was at dead stop. Her car had to be towed away. My truck too a hit to the tailgate and the bumper. It seems OK otherwise but I'll know tomorrow when they do the appraisal.   UGH!   Happy Birthday to Me!! :-)

"How did it go yesterday? Any trouble in Millville?" He shook his head. "Your biscuits and gravy are great." "Mama's recipe. She taught this girl to COOK." "Uh-huh.  Well, it rained the whole time.  We did the ground breaking in pouring rain.  Your friend, the former head of manufacturing, is now on the Board.  It looks like sunshine down there, he told me, with the missile plant starting up and they re-hired all the people they fired.  Millville Products is as it was.  And the Chinese money is still coming.  That was just an ugly rumor.  Gibson quit, but you knew that." "Missile plant, huh.  Yeah.  Gibson and I may go into business.  But I have been thinking-" "Yeah.  It's been declassified.  I can tell you they made missiles for Navy ships and planes during World War 2. It was shut down after Vietnam.  Several other supporting companies are moving in - paint, electronics assembly, a few others - that support missile production." "Okay."
