All in al considering it was a good day.

Good morning Billie,

I'm glad yesterday was a good experience and hope it was just a routine colonoscopy, and all is well.

My coffee was HOT, strong, and black as well.

Late last week I sprained my lower back, and evidently aggravated it Monday to a point of near debilitating pain. I've been treating it with high doses of Ibuprofen, and a hot pad. Well this morning I had a near fall in the shower, and really aggravated it. I have a call into the doctor, and if I don't hear from her soon, I'll go to the CVS MedCheck.

As for the rest of my existence? It's a good day and I know someone is worse off than me.

Best wishes, stay positive, and safe,

Mindy??️‍⚧️?

Good morning
The coffee is strong and black and I am really enjoying it this morning since I couldn't have any yesterday as I had to go in for a colonoscopy yesterday afternoon. What made it nice is the entire staff at the endoscopy center were so nice to me even gendering me correctly all afternoon. For me that is the first time and I know on all my paperwork it showed my pronouns as she/her but I really expected to be gendered as he/him as I feel I don't come close to passing, but they all were always nice and yes mam no mam and they were all so sweet that when I left I was on cloud 9. Also they used a different anesthesia that didn't have fentanyl in it so when I woke up I felt as if I had just taken a really good nap and didn't have that heavy drug hangover. All in al considering it was a good day.

I’m sorry about your alien abduction but happy that the flying saucer staff treated you respectfully. Also on the bright side; you didn’t wake up in a field experiencing missing time.

I have a question for you ladies who have had bottom surgery. Do you find it easier to keep your knees together without the extra junk in the way? I'm trying to get into the habit of keeping them together. It seems difficult for me.

Not for me.  I used to be able to sit with my knees together, and I could cross my legs like a lady.  These days, 20 months post-op, I can't do either except very carefully and very briefly.  I manspread worse than I ever did when I was pretending to be a man.

There is a revision in my future, but making the medical case for it is going to be tough.  My surgeon didn't think there was anything wrong, when clearly there is.

@MmindySorry about your back issues.  I've had some bad ones and know how rough it can be.

As for knees together, I'm pre-op and have no problem with that at all.  But my equipment was never very impressive to start with.   I don't have the funds for surgery anyway.

I have to admit I am flummoxed. I never knew anyone couldn’t keep their knees together or cross their legs lady because of junk in the front. The things you learn here. Wow.

Stick around. I'm sure you will hear a multitude of stuff you've never thought about here.

I think the only time I've seen this word was in Animal Crossing New Leaf, by a horse or donkey.

Yeah? Just wait until you hear about hands-free peeing.

I got in a conversation the other day with one of my friends about that feeling you get when someone sends you flowers. Although she lives halfway across the country she sent some to me. Now I understand. The feelings of joy and happiness are just so overwhelming. Unfortunately, my partner thinks she meant something by sending them and she’s not happy to say the least. Oh well, I’ll weather this storm as I have every other one.

How nice...that was really sweet of your friend.  I must confess...I've really become fond of flowers in the last year.  I still go to the hardware store, but I always enter through the garden section now, just to say hi to all the beautiful blooms.

Time to get with your Primary Care doctor and be referred to a neurologist or an orthopedist.  It could be many things, too many for any of us here to guess at.

Other than the Boy Scout motto, oath, and law. I use two:   When asked how I'm doing? In all honesty I reply. I would have to make something up to complain. If asked to explain further: I reply. I know someone is having a tougher time than I am, and I pray God blesses them.   I also recite this quote that I have tagged in my signature: Courage, doesn't always roar. Sometimes it's the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."-Unknown    Saying these things daily keep me motivated.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

If this goes on, I am conceding the real possibility of being stopped in WM or somewhere by a concerned citizen who tells me, "Lady, God made you female.  I don't think you should be trying to look like a man. You need to return to your true gender and be comfortable living your life out as a woman."   Begin odd and awkward conversation.  I have been thinking about this this morning.

There are many MAGA GOP types who are not transphobes, of course. Some MAGA GOP types are transgender.

I'm hoping to read the next section today.  Many of the reforms they are calling for are good, such as expediting the military procurement process, and have nothing to do with transgender issues.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I was going to call it Numbness, then I realised well.. it isn't. basically, yeah, it isn't.   this only happens to me sometimes. I'll be lying down and my legs will.. well, I guess lock?   If I straighten them out, they will unlock- when I roll over again, they will lock again. this lasts for around 10/ 15 minutes I guess   it's not pins and needles either

In this case the MAGA GOP transphobes Just my opinion of course

so, a close friend wants to cook for me   the issue is, she is a vegitarian and won't handle meat- I, on the other hand, won't handle vegetables- hate the things   every time she goes out to the shop, she comes back with something.. a cake, a fruit smoothie, a coffee, I won't eat any of it. please help me think of something that she could make for me that I'll actually eat   disclaimer: you are talking to the most pickiest eater in the world. good luck

I think there is some truth in this.  They intend to implement Project 2025, whether or not he spends his energies persecuting the Democrats who have been persecuting him (in his view, a debatable point) and does nothing else.   I have seen numerous accusations that the document is about "Trumpism", whatever that is, and is merely a vehicle for him to become dictator.  From what I have read so far, that is the same sort of truth as the Steele Dossier, denying the validity of a certain laptop, Schiff's non-existence evidence of collaboration and a host of other things, many directly from Biden, that are simply not true.   I will continue reading it.

      Who, precisely, are "they"?
