Mousse foundation

I've been experimenting with make-up on and off, mostly to get a better idea how far I want to go with the laser beard removal. What I've found is that with cream foundation and similar products I get a good coverage, but it's very difficult not to end up with a very obvious make-up look. Powder foundation is kind of the opposite - it's very discreet, but its coverage is not great. Also with my dry skin it tends to cake up.

 

A few weeks ago I thought I'd try something new and bought mousse foundation. After trying it a few times I can say I'm very impressed. It looks very natural without much effort. It smoothes out nicely and sort of settles in the pores, so you need to look twice to even notice there's makeup on the skin. Finishing it off with a bit of powder foundation and then some finishing powder that matches my skin tone gets me just what I'm looking for - the look of being cleanly shaven. Coverage is not complete, there's still a bit of a 5 o'clock shadow, but it's nothing in comparison to what I look like without this, even right after a close wet shave.
