You people don't know the definition of pain. Listen to the mudkips for about ten minutes. If you aren't batcrap insane by the end then you have no brain or soul. Here, I'll even link you to it:

It's a Small World's got NOTHING on that.

18 seconds. You're right. I made it over a minute on "small world". I guess the video on "small world" doesn't do the ride justice, because based on it, you couldn't pay me to go through that.

Okay... got through the first two with only minor problems...

Now I'm about five minutes through the Mudkips. My eyes are twitching a bit and I felt a sudden throbbing pain in my shoulder at one point. D'you think that has anything to do with it?

Wish me luck.

These are nothing. When I worked children (ages 4-7) in a residential, one Christmas Eve there was a 24 hour Teletubby marathon. That was a true test of inner strength B)

At least it wasn't the kids themselves making the repetitive noise. I once had to babysit a demon child who screamed "This is Ozzy and this is Drix!" on a loop for about two and a half hours straight.

Hats off to you, though. 24 hours of Teletubbies sounds brutal. The government could use that to get info out of people, seriously.

WOW THAT SONG USED to be my favorite song.

WHEN I WAS SIX!!!!

But I am feeling rather hyper right now, so I even sang along.........

You;re lucky you weren't there.

So I live close enough to Disney that I have ridden that small world ride more times than I would like to remember. Why does everyone I take there HAVE to ride that ride?! Well here is my horror story.... I have been stuck on that ride.... twice! It broke down one time right as you are coming into that last room where all the kids are holding hands... I was right next to the finnish girl... for 3 hours.... suffice to say your video cannot harm me for I have seen the gates of hell and have survived the 9th circle! come on... no other Dante fans here?

The lamb chop song is great! I loved that show as a kid! Its I'll still randomly break into that song, and some of us have even done it as a form of protest in a meeting once. Watching upper management sing that song on a telecom until the "other" party finally caved and hung up was fantastic! Yeah, we're really professional! :P

The pokemon thing... that one got me. I even played that game when I was younger, and it was only mildly annoying... but now... ugh!

Thanks Sally, you always seem to put a smile on my face. I got through both songs all the way, and I'll probably have them stuck in my head for weeks, but it was fun. By the way guess what I'll be singing you if we ever meet. :D

Thanks for the laugh

I have to admit that the ride was nice, the 'children of all nations' are cute and everyone and everything is smiling but I just can't take one song for the whole ride and the line outside and down the sidewalk - bit I liked the peaceful little boat ride.

April the next time you go to Disneyland, ride the Small World and enjoy it, just knowing that you like it takes the sting out of the repetition.

I probably would have enjoyed t more if I hadn't been hearing the song for well over 45 minutes before getting on.

Love ya,

Sally

The first one reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3TKt0Q1-5Y

i was once on a roadtrip with my dad's family, and my cousin who is the most annoying family member i have, played "i love rock and roll". she sang along, and put it on repeat. her voice is terrible, and i'm a musician, so bad singing hurts more. she did not stop playing that !@#$^&* song for at least 3 hours!!!:angry::angry:

so this, i could handle :D

oh, and i, on the same trip, had to wait on her to finish this same ride. she didnt get tired of it for 20 minutes. oh, and they play it outside too <_< not fun.

so sally, you are gonna have to try harder than this

This song was mentioned by my soon to be former friend Lizzy (just joking but she did plant this song in my mind after nearly ten years without having heard it) in a topic about what's stuck in your head right now.

The song is the much feared Disney song, "It's a Small World" - which was banned for questioning in Gitmo for the more humane water boarding means of breaking terrorists.

Now for a way to test your resolve - you know whats ahead but how far can you go.

This is for you Lizzy - nearly 10 minutes of it!

And a bonus annoying song with the perfect name! (only about a minute and a half of this one)

Let's see if you are made of the right stuff.

Love ya,

Sally

I'll watch them later.

Sally............

You Evil, Evil woman!

You'll pay dearly for this!!!!!

Donna Jean

How about

for evil? Space mountain with the lights on?

I've been through the one at Disneyworld, maybe three times (did they close it for awhile because it was getting just a little too anachronistic?) and I actually didn't mind it any of the times. I guess because I was with my children at different ages and I was able to enjoy it a litte through their eyes.

Now Shari Lewis...that's another matter. I just never could get into her and (growing up in Chicago), I was into Kukla, Fran and Ollie, Here's Geraldine, Garfield Goose, Elmer the Elephant. even BJ and Dirty Dragon. I could watch her and Lambchop, but only in small doses. Since I appreciated Fran Allison, I don't think it was a gender thing cuz I also watched Ding Dong School with Miss Frances and Romper Room and did not care at all for Captain Kangaroo.

Not as annoying, but since I've already established my low threshold for this kind of thing.... your opinion on that gummy bear song?

I showed it to my friend, she was all "aww how cute...". I was all <_< lol. I can't listen to things like that because they get stuck in my head all day, feel like numbing my skull so I won't have to hear it ever again. I think it's some weird form of OCD :/

hmm well, the girl who linked it to me thought it was annoying. but that's because she was studying abroad in Austria and she said it was all the rage in Germany, that she misses America because there's better music here and that's all they listened to when she went to Germany

My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

Anyone play war and order on their phones?
    • violet r
I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Welcome to the party, M.A.     Sounds chaotic haha, I can confidently say that living with only two children the same age is stressful enough, much less three!

Things hit the fan today. I was reminded that "this is not a gender fluid establishment."   I had changed my preferred name and gender at the hospital on their app. My x-ray report came in with my preferred name and gender. It was not appreciated by the centre. 😬

I'm not a nutritionist but I've gone on bulking diets in the past so I can suggest a couple things to try. Foremost, food-prep stuff that you like to eat. Any 'real food' that usually sounds good to you. That way, you don't have the time-sink or hassle of cooking for every meal. You're more likely to eat if stuff if it's convenient and mostly ready. For example, I'll spend an hour or so one evening prepping burrito ingredients that will last me the next 3 nights. Then it's just a matter of microwaving the beef/beans and throwing them into a tortilla; takes 5 min.   If you need food 'on the go' often, consider prepping smoothies in advance pre-separated out into individual containers. I personally like low-no fat yogurt blended with fruit and, here's the weird part, those water flavor drops. They add sweetness without dumping in excess sugar. Insulated containers will keep them reasonably fresh non-refridgerated all day so they can even be tossed into a backpack.    Hope of those sparked some ideas!

I did get a sorry from the mechanic, saying it was all on him. The boss just said I just went by what I was shown. I didn't look at the paper work. I thought maybe you should before jumping down someones throat.   I am still in the market. Just waiting to find the right one.   Hugs, Kymmie
