I'm not trying very hard today. We're supposed to have freezing rain any minute now and I have no intention of leaving the house unless it's on fire. Flannel shirt over a black T. Black jeans that my wife bought me for Christmas. Beige cat in my lap. He is unimpressed.

This was actually yesterday, but thought I would share it because there is a bit of a story behind the dress. 

 

My earliest recollections of thinking that I should be a girl date back to when I was about 5 or 6 when my cousins who were similar age to me stayed at my home for a few days. One morning we decided to swap clothes and I swapped with my cousin who gave me her plaid dress to wear. I wore it all morning. All the adults thought it was amusing but to me it was the best. I happened to see this dress for sale with my favourite online retailer and although it wasn't the same colours (the original had way more green and blue), it did remind me of that such significant event that has always stuck in my memory. I had no option - I had to buy it

@Niamh the dress is as lovely as the memory. Like you I knew early and mimicked my mother when she was pregnant with my baby sister and again with my baby brother.

Also that is the phone I use to draw digitally, it is a really old phone and isn't connected to internet, and no sim card.

I like that! It's screaming out for a belt though. Something to cinch it around your waist would look gorgeous!

 

I so need a new dress. I can't go shopping until we have changing rooms again though. I'm so bloody tall they most of them don't fit me right. ?

If only I had a waist I would! Well I guess I do have a waist, but even with C cup silicon breast forms, my waist comes out to same level as my boobs rather than going in! So I deliberately choose dresses and blouses that hide the middle part of me.

Fake it! I've got a "butt enhancer" with a tummy control panel that I wore before my waist started to come in. Failing that, corsets are a thing (and a thing that I own, though I could use a nicer one...). I'll still pull out the shapewear for special occasions.

I just joined and I'm already feeling this reply. I'd like to let people know in some way that I had a positive reaction to their post, even if I don't reply, haha.

 

I just woke up so I'm still in my pink bathrobe. Give it about 5 minutes and I'll be in my work uniform though. I cannot wait until I can go clothes shopping again.

Hi everyone, most days I wear matching underwear, top and bottom. I have a studio for working on my artwork so I wear woman’s overalls with a unisex top. When I finish work I change into leggings and a sweatshirt. That’s followed by a bamboo nightgown for bed.

 

That’s pretty much my day, with some variation.
