What are you wearing today?

You girls look great!

@Bri2020 The tie dye has given life to that shirt, and I love the hat

I'm wearing an ivory color summer shirt with 3/4 length lace sleeves. Simple but pretty.

That’s on my to do list for today too. It’s so long gutting may be the appropriate term.

I needed a summer dress as well as a tailgating dress for Miami games so found this white twist front and tie dyed it. Add in a summer hat and I’m feeling like I am on vacation lol

I do love your colour co-ordination.

Went camping for a few days with my daughter and other family.  Pix is pretty badly back-lit but here it is.

Jandi, I bet you had a great time. This reminds me that I have not been camping since before I started transition. It’s been over three years since I used any of my camping/hiking equipment. I’m going to put this on my list of things to do later this summer.

Camping? Nope Nope Nope, not me. Gosh, how will I put on my make-up in the morning, what if a

bear eats me at night? Anyway it is raining cats and dogs outside and I already have 4 dogs and 2 cats and don't need anymore lol.

So I'm just chilling in my music room wondering what tune to play next.

Okay what are you wearing? So I'm going to break it down.

This is an unlined faux wrap dress, I have a full slip under it.

Under the slip is the normal women's under garments. My breast are medical grade silicone.

My panty hose are tinted to match my shoes.

I'm using clear nail polish, perfume, hair spray and jewelry and of course make-up.

Other than that I'm just your normal trans person.

As far as how far I'm willing to go in my transition only time will tell.

LM♥️

Today since I wasn't at work. Just sweats, and a t shirt. Tomorrow, and it seems like for the rest of the week. They are taking in the 60s. So I might wear a skirt, and a nice top, maybe a dress, but ill probably just wear jeans, and a nice top.

Thanks again Teri, I try to represent our community with style. I have to go to Asheville during the gay pride march even though I'm not gay, (not that it really matters to me about sexual orientation).  I'm going to represent us, the trans community.

I'm also going back to Asheville to the support meetings for us trans people, both m/f f/m. I used to go all the time but

left to find myself. Leaving the community and cutting all my hair off just to find myself was a big mistake, but I learned,

This is who I am. (picture was before I cut my hair)

You present and represent in the best ways you can.

I used to do the trans meetings and outings to other areas to promote trans awareness.

Used to help trans teens to find a balance in their lives. Explain they are not alone and trans people have been part of society for a very long time.

My group began to get too radical even for me and the ultra activist began to take over so I stopped going.

Gay pride events  were even getting more radical and I stopped going to those events too.

Being gay has never been a problem for me but those events and the way some acted (men  naked in a thong dancing in the streets) does nothing for the gay cause and only done for the shock value.

I wanted to fit in not stand out as some kind of martyr for a cause that repulsed most people.

I am a more than normal person that just wants to live my life as I see fit.

Oh yeah I shampooed my carpet today so it was camo yoga pants and a white Tshirt and sandals. Blue polish on my tosies. LOL

Havent been to many "community" or pride events.  I avoid anything activist.   Possibly a self acceptance thing.

What Teri Anne says about wanting to fit in and not stand out is how I feel too.  Kind of.

Can you stand out, and fit in, at the same time?

Things got better once I realized I didn't have to

1. impress anyone.

2.I didn't have to try and force people to accept me.

3.I didn't have to have an agenda and scream it out to the world.

Hot Hot Hot.  (not me, the weather hahaha). I haven't worn this top in almost 7 months. I forgot how much I like it.  Broke out some big hoops too.  I realized when I got to work why I haven't worn them in a while....what a pain in the ass with masks that go over your ears.

@MaddeeI love that top you're wearing.  You look great!

@Linda Marieas always- pure class.

I'm with all of you on the whole "fitting in". I like to wear nicer clothes and show a little style but not trying to shock anyone with who I am.

Today is another rainy day so I'm just dressing up for no reason except the fact

that I love dressing up.

All of you here look wonderful.

Congrats on the new addition @Ivy I have the opposite I have 4 grandson and a granddaughter. 3 of whom are visiting this weekend. I am feeling better. I think the biggest thing is that I got some much needed sleep.   Well gotta go and speed sometime with the grandsons.   Kymmie

I saw this concert in which it is said that the famous phrase of Jon Landau "I saw the future of rock and roll and his name is Bruce Springsteen" comes from that night. By the way Bruce opened for Bonnie Raitt that night and she was the better performer . . . just sayin'.

Astronomy and astrophotography.  I have done a few public presentations on the subject and could most likely wing it for an hour without putting you to sleep.   On the other hand if you need a sleeping pill, I could also talk for an hour about flying and you'd be out cold.

Please consider joining us, even if it's just for a few minutes to see what the meetings are like. I've learned so much, had so much fun and gained confidence in myself just by being a part of this amazing group of people. It's a low key, no pressure, non-judgmental chance to just be among people who are supportive, understanding and affirming of each other.    I'm travelling out of state and still planning on dropping in for awhile.    Come see what it's like!!

Thank you, Susan!! It was such an amazing experience for me. I can't remember if I even talked about it on a Zoom meeting.   Here is the link to the post I made about it. And, again, thank you for helping to give me the courage to do it.

Good morning coffees   This probably doesn’t exactly apply to me because you wouldn’t have found a more shy and conservative person than me.  I was perhaps less shy before my sister started complaining about me doing things that were hers to do. And I would become embarrassed and that was the end of that.   upstairs unit got their typical weekend visitors in the middle of the night last night.  They woke me up.  They have little consideration for being in a condo community and the neighbors being in such close proximity.   @awkward-yet-sweet , how goes the job with your husband’s boss?  I don’t recall you saying much about it this week, but I could have missed a post along the way.  If I recall you were supposed to meet with him last Monday.   @KymmieL I hope you are feeling better.     Yes, I find it to be wrong that just because a car part says Ford or Chevrolet on the box that same part with Lincoln or Cadillac on the box cost a lot.more.  I know there are differences in the upscale brands such as the engine and drivetrain in the Caddy and of course the interior fit and finish.  But it’s the same body with things crammed in the same way under the hood.     well, time to finish my coffee, fix my hair and made my way across the street to work.    willow
