OMG 😲

So funny when you see a couple (husband and wife) walking by me whilst shopping, and the guy is checking my chest out. 🤭

This new blouse arrived in today's mail - another $20.50 Talbot's score. 🙂

I just got home and trying to process it, so I can sleep.  Writing it down helps. It went great.

We met late afternoon like last time. I think he wanted those times so he could ask me out afterwards. I mean, he’s here on travel, so I can’t imagine his whole day before that is jam packed.

Our meeting wasn’t very busy, as we pretty quickly got done what we needed to do. Mostly we just chatted. It was nice.

Nicer still, he asked me to dinner. This time I said yes. We went to a pleasant restaurant in walking distance.

Our dinner was leisurely, relaxed, and the conversation wonderful. I encouraged him to do most of the talking, and made it a point to be a good listener.  It wasn’t hard to do. I think the food was delicious, but I can’t be sure, as I was more into him.

Our waitress, a cute 30 something, kept unobtrusive tabs on us, I think as much for vicarious romance as good service.  I kept thinking, if I were to tell him, oh by the way, I used to be a boy,  and let the waitress overhear it, she would probably write her phone number on his bill, call me.

After dinner, he sincerely complimented and thanked our waitress, and gave her a very big tip. She gave me this look that said he’s into you, and I hope you know how lucky you are.

Afterwards, we strolled.

Had some ice cream; that was interesting to say the least.

Then we sat for a long time in his hotel’s bar and talked and drank sparkling water; he wants to see me again.

It was around 1:00 AM when he walked me to my car;  he is a really good kisser ;)

Congratulations!

Okay, guy on the access bus was coming onto me (I think).

We dropped him off at the VA nursing facility, but he kept saying where he stays they don't have any women around let alone beautiful ones like me. 🤭

I loved the compliments 💞

Not really.  Just some beer and to hang out around people.

That's part of the reason I go shopping, sans beer (I don't drink it).

Being around people can be very rewarding. I have made friends with the SA's at Torrid as well as the cleaning lady in the food court at the Mall.

Do you go dressed?

I do, not much more than androgynous but definitely female. It makes me feel so nice walking around in "who I am".

Oh yes.  The pix was made right after I got home.  That's what I wore, except I had some brown leather clogs when I was out.

I haven't dressed as a guy for 2-3 years now.  It was a bit scary at first, but now it's just me.

It's been almost a year in women's clothes for me. I don't own any men's attire at all.

Women's pants and shorts are my daily wear everywhere. I have yet to wear my dresses out in public (perhaps one day).

You are braver than me @Ivy.

Button-up blouses at the stuffy day-center and tanks and T's out shopping.

I guess I pass well enough without my wig now, I got "hit on" by a gentleman yesterday out shopping.

oh dresses can be fun dear..look for what covers your concerns...they're out there..I've worn them to church, work, visit..anywhere I need to go..that's what we girls do .winks encouragingly.

hey if you like visiting Torrid, come work for us. it's more fun n they are proud of their rating as diversity inclusive. I work there as missy jo m love it. love it. you will too. am I earning a fortune? no but wanted the job more for assimilating missy into a real life than the cash..though I do need a minimum number of hours to fund my laser..

think about it dear. I hot idea from Cassie n it worked n I love it. I suggest outfits, help women find clothes that make them look n feel beautiful, and happy...and I get paid n a huge discount on my clothes..we sell dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, swim, shoes, lingerie..everything..even jewelry n sunglasses..I own lots of their stuff now, shoes, bras, panties, shades  blouses n a few dresses..n some jewelry too. giggles. think about it.

Great dress for church. I got a couple of compliments.

The perfect church dress doesn't.........Oh, wait. Never mind. 🤣 Very cute, Ashley.

I spent the day working in the yard - jeans and a t-shirt. After a cool shower I'm wearing  a multi-color flowered skort and a blue t-shirt and pink flip flops.

Been using the wok on the back deck a lot the last few months.  Just got another stock of udon noodles from Amazon and we are using those in the stir fry with onions, peppers and a spicy peanut sauce.  I did this often in the 90's too, but back then I was just using a standard Coleman camp stove instead of this high BTU wok burner.  I've had the burner for a couple years, but haven't been using it regularly until recently.

I’m a lefty. Learned to be a bit ambidextrous for certain tools that assume right handedness like scissors, but couldn’t write with my right hand to save my life.

Tangent, adjacent, opposite...  It's still rock n' roll to me.  I don't know about the "in god we trust" part of the money, but I like the lady with the scale.  And then I look left at the Indian statue on my mantel of Guanyin feeding a drop of liquid to the dragon at her feet.  In god we trust?  The lady with the scale?  Maybe this is too binary.  And then on the other side of Guanyin is that kind of pelican wood bird that sits two feet tall that I hauled back from South America through the Panama canal.  The beak broke in 1998 and I carefully saved the pieces (as I usually do) and attached them back about a decade ago.  I used a drill to make a small hole and then put a finish nail in there.  Then a hole on those two pieces that needed to be attached.  Upper and Lower beak.  There is still a seam showing.  I could cover that up, but the beak is a bright yellow and well, it's better with all the pieces in place and I don't mind seeing the crack.  I guess that is the tangent and the other two are the opposite and adjacent. -money  Why don't coders always code the "-" action in their search fields?  It's not that difficult!

A maxi dress with blue and white and some Berkenstock style flip flops.

@April Marie Yes, it's something to shop for at least for 6-8 weeks.

Definitely points to learn and keep in mind.  A bunch of stuff I had put in mental "cold storage" thawed out a bit there and ready again to run through my mill.  As said, a bit long and as usual from her a tad bit challenging.  Overall I see it and can use it as a working hypothesis.

Yes,I hate that     Also finding out I might be father of a 24 year young lady.I had an one night stand with a woman off base when I was in the army.Called this afternoon and said I am possibly the father of her now 24 year old daughter.Told her I will agree with a paternity test that will be done.

Yeah.  I like Nebula, that was where I watched it.   I posted the YouTube cause I figured more people could see it.

We agree on most of this... and the church/state thing is kind of a tangent anyways. Oops. LOL   I think it has long been established that all different kinds of groups have access to public funds. In my opinion, either everybody has access or nobody does. I would prefer "nobody."   Relying on public funds gives the government the power to take it away, and puts that power in the hands of whatever group controls the government at the moment... the news article that is the topic of this thread shows a clear example of that happening.  Organizations trust government at their peril.

More info on Abigail Thorne here: https://go.nebula.tv/philosophytube and, Dracula's ex-girlfriend, on Philosophy tube.   "The reason why Nebula is so cheap for what it is, is because there's no upper hierarchical group looking yo skim off the top. Imagine how much cheaper EVERYTHING could be if it was like that for every other service or product; if the money went straight to workers, not up a chain of command until it reached someone who did exactly "jack" to produce what's being sold.
