I'm retiring my wig as I don't wear it anymore. It will go into charity.

My hair has grown out enough I can style it fairly nice and wear a ponytail, so I'll continue to let it grow.

My date last Friday went well. We had follow ups on Saturday and Sunday, and then he had to leave town.  The only issue is that he assumes I am cis.

I am flying out tomorrow to see him. I plan to tell him Saturday that I am transgendered. I’m anxious, worried how that’s going to go.

This is what I plan to wear.  Not the boots and not the tattoo, which is a temporary in this picture.

Wish me luck.

Good morning!

I'm wearing my pink n white striped blouse and denim short-shorts today. Black stockings and my HeyDude shoes as well.

Styled my hair up nice but in a ponytail again (it's going to be Texas hot).

Have a wonderful day.

Oh, I hated my binders when I used to wear them.

They are awesome in concealment though.

Looks like you are new to the forum. Welcome!

There are many of us here from all backgrounds.

There are many here that you can relate to.

I lived in "boy-mode" for about 45 years.

I'm intersex AMAB, but puberty didn't get the memo (lots of curves and breasts and some female plumbing).

To keep my family happy I concealed everything, so I do know all the tricks.

I don't conceal anymore at all as I live what my body decided upon, but I do understand where you are coming from.

When I reached a large enough size I found a baggy shirt under "bib overalls" was my daily attire.

Wow, that brings back memories!

I'm DDD in some brands so concealment really wasn't working anymore for me.

I hate wearing bras and often don't but I've put on a bit of weight up to and kind of need to now.  I know why women burned bras in the 60s now.  (I know it was political and not the same).  I know hat for a lot of mtf like myself, wearing bras is a goal, but for me its like a pain.  Ironically I'd still like to be a bit bigger up top, even though I know that's more pain.  Wow what a species hey humans.   I think there are creatures in the hedges wondering what the heck our problems are.  I do feel sorry for those ftms having to bind, that must be even more torture than I have to put up with.

Yeah, they're not that comfortable.  I'm not all that big, so I don't need one.  Most of the time I don't if I'm at home or have a couple of layers on.  But I will put one on when I go out with some outfits so as not to draw attention.

Oh my! are the underwires always in the way while cleaning house!

But it's more uncomfortable for me to go braless.

The wired kind are the worst. When I have to wear a bra, I can only stand cloth sports bras. Everything else makes me want to tear them off and throw them against a wall /hj

Although the right to care has been affirmed, I still find it disheartening that so many of the treatments that are available and beneficial to someone who is trans, is consequently barred by insurance companies who claim that anything beyond HRT and vaginoplasty, are cosmetic. I believe that any procedure that can help to make one passable as their desired gender, has the potential to be lifesaving. Is being able to just blend in as our desired gender so abhorrent to the insurance companies?    I also believe that the transgender communities are taken advantage of in many ways. Look at the number of healthcare providers who will provide care, but want up front payment, which in many cases, is way above what an insurance company will pay. It is very expensive paying out of pocket, yet many of us become so desperate to transition that we just pony up the money.

The only thing good about Trump, he's a businessman, but as for leadership to be the president of the entire   United States.. ahh nope lol, there's no telling how many secrets he blabbed to foreign countries when he was in office, anyway he's too old to be in office.

I hope to be able to drop in on tonight's Zoom. If I can, you'll see me wearing this band-collar floral popover with jeans and these slip-on sneakers.

Oh, my! It seems as if I have been gone for so long. And, interacting with you all has been such an important part of gaining an understanding of who I am this past year.    My wife’s mother passed away this week. She was in her late 90s but has been in relative good health. Until the past month. We brought in hospice last week when she began to sleep most of the day and began to become restless and uncomfortable. She passed in her sleep on Monday.   As you might imagine, it’s been a whirlwind of coordinating burial arrangements with family, the unreal home, the church and the venue for a lunch after mass.   We have a place here on our property where we place the ashes of family members so we will place her alongside her husband next Saturday.   Of course, our new puppy adds to the strain of time. She is a joy but also a typical Lab with lots of energy. She’s 11 weeks old and already 21 pounds.    I will I’ll find my way back here more as things settle down.   I miss you all!

Good morning everyone,    The coffee is brewing, after Parker has been walked and taken care of his business. Changing my morning routine, because he’s a puppy and as soon as he’s out of the crate there’s no stopping before he needs to be outside for a few minutes. Once coffee is poured we sit on the porch swing and enjoy the morning song birds.    Happy Pride Month     Mindy🌈🏳️‍⚧️🐛🦋
