Thank you April Marie, I love yours too. The styles are so similar! Nice shoes too.

Thank you! I just don't have the confidence to go sleeveless, though.

I actually feel that sleeveless is more flattering in my case. T-shirt style seems to make my shoulders look wider or something.

I’m really enjoying this new dress. It is so airy and comfortable, made of linen and textured to the touch.

Sounds (and looks) wonderful.

Thank you Missyjo. I presume your phone autocorrected my name so I've cut the "r" off. I spell my name Bette these days anyway. Pink leopard skirt sounds racy!

I just tried on my new top and realized I'll need a plunge bra to go with the fairly deep V neck.

Looks like I'll be bra shopping again. ☺️

You're probably right.  Really interesting how a person's body structure can change the look of even a simple item of clothing.  For me, its kind of weird that T-shirts tend to make me look smaller.  Probably because my shoulders are really narrow, especially the bigger sizes tend to hang on me.  And as my husband wears slightly longer T-shirts so they are easy to tuck in, on me they pretty much become a dress.  Which is about as feminine as I get 😏

I was wearing a red floral blouse with a pair of black jeans, black laced bra with homemade rice breast forms,, high cut panties, and cubic zirconia clip on earrings.  It's time for bed, so I have on a hunter green nightgown.  This is the reason I love dressing in female clothes!😃  Otherwise I would have had a t-shirt and shorts today, then sleep pants tonight.☹️

As we approach the end of August here in the US, I always start to think about the coming cooler weather. And, despite not really liking the cold temperatures, I'm suddenly excited. Soon I'll be wearing tights, pantyhose and stockings again!!! I just love the feel of them on freshly shaved legs!! 🙂

I hit the clearance racks all summer. Winter clothes are always on it.

This winter I'll be buying summer clothes. 🤔

I shaved mine today. My next order of dresses will include winter/fall ones but I won't mind wearing the summer ones because I prefer the cold weather and it doesn't get that bad in Mississippi. The coldest I've seen was 13 and that was back in the ice storm of 1994. We were without power for 26 days just because I grew up in the country area where the city was 40 minutes away.

I had speech therapy today and it went well. Pitch is great but I need to work on resonance because it comes and goes while speaking.

Hmm, I wonder if I should try that. 🤔

I just sing along to female songs on the radio to practice my voice.

Awesome! I hope you can improve the resonance, but for me (trying to do the opposite), pitch is a huge struggle, so hearing that you've got it down is awesome :))

Yeah, boy-mode is a struggle. I remember in my teens I was heard as female. I spent time trying to master the boy-mode voice, and mostly singing along to songs mimicking the vocals best I could.

I finally achieved it! But that was after two years of testosterone treatments.

Funny, now I'm trying to adjust my voice the other way. I think I'm doing fine, "I'm passing". I would however like it much better.

singing is a little different from speaking. The music can mask the voice.

Thank you! I practiced for a long time and was discouraged when I found out about resonance but it'll just be another thing to work on.

Good morning Ash,    Welcome to TransPulseForums, I have a young neighbor who plays several brass instruments who lives behind my house. He is always practicing and I could listen to them for hours, well I guess I have listened to them for hours, and my favorite is when they play the low tones on the French Horn.    Best wishes,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Good morning everyone,    I had my first cup of coffee this morning with my wife, my second was a 20oz travel mug on the way to the airport. Once clearing TSA, I bought another 20oz to pass the time at the boarding gate. I’m flying Indy to Baltimore, then driving to Wilmington, DE for my last teaching engagement at the DE State Fire School.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

In my opinion, the gender neutral version of sir or ma'am is the omission of such honorifics.   "Excuse me, sir" becomes simply, "Excuse me", or better yet, "Excuse me, please."   "Yes, ma'am" becomes "Yes", or depending on the context, "Yes, it would be my pleasure" or "Yes, that is correct."   Else, to replace it with a commonly known neutral term such as friend, or credentialed or action-role-oriented term depending on the situation such as teacher, doctor, driver, or server.   And learn names when you can. It's a little known fact that MOST people are bad with names. So if you've ever told someone, "I'm bad with names", you're simply affirming you're typical in that way. A name, just like any other factoid, requires effort to commit to memory. And there are strategies which help.

@KymmieL it’s as if our spouses are two sides of the same coin. We never know which side will land up. Loving or Disliking.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

almost 45 min later. Still in self pity mode. I cannot figure out my wife. I shared a loving post on Facebook to my wife. Today she posts, you are my prayer. Yet, last week she puts up a post diragitory towards trans people. Does she not relate to me being trans?   ???

      Hi Ash, Welcome!!

Well we have the white rain, about 2 inches. Work is still terrible, with me making stupid little mistakes. Yet, to the boss it is the end of the world. Still on the hunt for another.   life just still sucks for me. I just wish I could be happy for a day. I'd even settle for a couple hours.   Kymmie

no rain here haha   Got some tea, in my AP class where we're about to discuss the "pleasant topic of mass atrocities" -my teacher   The AP test is coming up soon, so hopefully I'll be able to pass that with good marks :)

Good morning   It sounds like everyone either got rain or is about to.   Me too, we have a double red flag at the beach (which people ignore). Storms predicted, although yesterday they stayed north west of us, today they should slam straight into us.    it seems like every day my wife does a little bit more for herself.  She still has a long way to go to be fully recovered however.  Today’s coffee did not come in a pod but it is still a single. Grounds in a replacement for the pod. Less convenient but it is just as good.  Ugh, I didn’t use enough coffee.  I’ll know better next time.  But that’s why you need to use the real thing.   another shortened day today, which is fine by me, followed by grocery shopping.  Not doing the Costco thing, neither of us want that.  Coffee pods will be on the list.   adios amigos, hi ho silver up up and away   the separated and the end of every show but we’re always together again next time on their show when the Lone Ranger needed help.
