Wow, I hadn’t heard this at last week’s Zoom meeting if you had mentioned it. That is a huge milestone April Marie.I have no doubt that this confidence will only grow in time. The freedom of being yourself, especially in public, is a wonderful feeling. I am truly happy for you.😘

*Big Congratulatory Hug*

Susan R🌷

Thank you, Susan!! It was such an amazing experience for me. I can't remember if I even talked about it on a Zoom meeting.

Here is the link to the post I made about it. And, again, thank you for helping to give me the courage to do it.

Just waking up so I'm in my pajamas - blue/white madras shorts, a navy blue t-shirt and my sleep bra with sleep-rated breast forms.

Thank you @Susan R for telling us about your mastectomy bra and forms fitting experience before your BA surgery and how sleeping in the bra/forms helped with the dysphoria.

First, hearing about your courage to get fitted gave me the confidence and courage to go out in public.

And, second, finding sleep mastectomy bras and sleep-rated breast forms (I found a set on eBay for a good price) has been a tremendous boost to my feeling comfortable in my pajamas and nightgowns and tamping down my dysphoria and dysmorphia.

sound  nice ...I been using a sleep bra with soft forms from knitted knockers..send a donation if you use them..I just sent my preferred size etc..works ok..gives my chest break from silicone touching..

how far back should I look to see about the ones you're using from Susan?

hugs

I don't wear a bra to bed.  The girls aren't big enough to need it, but still enough to appreciate.  Just a flannel nightgown suits me fine.

I wore an olive corduroy coverall dress with a navy blue shirt underneath.

I wear a Delimira Mastectomy sleep bra with Vollence sleep rated breast forms. The form fit inside pockets so they don't touch your skin. I bought the bras on Amazon and found the forms on eBay. They were much less expensive than buying through the other sources.

Wife of mine pointed out that not getting a haircut for a month looks hideous - weird bald patches.  So back to super- short buzz cut.  This morning I braced, looking in the mirror.  I look like a woman trying to pass as a a guy, maybe  a small-breasted woman with enough T treatment to grow a mustache.

I would not believe me if I read what I write about me.  This is nuts.

White t-shirt: that they sell in the back of WM so you can tie-dye them or otherwise decorate them. They are thick and long lasting and slightly fitted, so that they could be a man's.  I like them.

Jeans, flip flops.

I will no longer point out these are women's.  What else would I wear?

If this goes on, I am conceding the real possibility of being stopped in WM or somewhere by a concerned citizen who tells me, "Lady, God made you female.  I don't think you should be trying to look like a man. You need to return to your true gender and be comfortable living your life out as a woman."

Begin odd and awkward conversation.  I have been thinking about this this morning.

They make supplements for hair growth I have been using one for four months and it is now at 6" long when I had nothing before. Although I take more than the pills. I take growth spray, oil, and a supplement that is added to a drink. My hair is very healthy. Unfortunately it's very curly so it'll take longer to grow

Many women my age wear their hair super-short, and I don't really have a need to have it long.  Longer in places where I can't grow it, if it is long  No aspirations to be a supermodel here.  The mustache would have to go before the wig comes if I ever did that.  I am threading a narrow path.

I wear a wig most of the time.  But I can get by with my natural (shoulder length) hair if I wear a hat or something to cover the mostly empty top.

Unfortunately that train has left the station, sigh.

I love long hair. I'm wanting my hair to touch the floor. I guess we shall see how long it can get.

I've been fortunate in growing my hair out. I had a few thinner spots - typical spots - but have been using Hims' hair growth treatment for about 6 months now and it had made a tremendous difference. I'm not sure how long I'll let it grow but I've been thrilled with how it's turning out.

Today I'm wearing this olive green high waisted 3/4 balloon sleeve midi dress with white sneakers.

I also received these today. Found them on eBay. I've been looking for a pair of brown riding boots but finding them in my size is hard and typically expensive. These were on end of season sale plus they gave me another 10% off so I ended up at about 40% of retail. They fit perfectly (12M). Unfortunately (or fortunately) boot season is over so I'll put them away until Fall.

I was using an off the shelf product but happened to get an ad for Hims. Checked it out and found their prescription version was a little stronger so thought I'd try. It has worked very well for me.

This is the dress I'll be wearing this evening while we watch the Kentucky Derby. Not sure if I'll throw on heels or flats with it - probably flats but I haven't worn heels in a while and the Force is strong. :D

We have been asked to bring the following to the attention of our members. Please note that you would need to send an email to receive the actual survey link.   Seeking Interview Participants for Research Study on Digital Spaces of Transgender Belonging What is the Study About? Over the past several decades, the Internet has fundamentally changed how trans people form community spaces, explore gender identity, and practice community care. My dissertation will evaluate trans people's relationships to digital trans spaces, and I am conducting interviews as part of this research study. Who Qualifies? To qualify for this study, you must: • Be 18 years of age or older, • Identify as transgender or otherwise gender nonconforming (such as, but not limited to, nonbinary, genderqueer, genderfluid, agender, or Two-Spirit), • Have sought out online transgender resources or communities, AND • Currently live in the United States. What Does It Involve? A brief (five minute) screening survey, later followed by a virtual interview lasting approximately one hour. You will receive $75 after participating in an interview as compensation for your time. Your participation in this interview is completely voluntary. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to reflect on your history with trans online communities and resources. Data Usage and Confidentiality Policy This research study is being conducted as part of a Ph.D. dissertation, which will be published. Raw or identifiable data, including interview transcripts and recordings, will not be made publicly available. Analysis from this study may be presented publicly or included in future publications. Further, your confidentiality will be respected during this study. The data collected for the study will be de-identified prior to any analysis, publication, or report resulting from the study. This will head for a court case and the notable fact that the people opposing puberty blockers is that they have not revealed their source and its competence.  It will be present the evidence and let your "experts" sit on the grill above the hot coals.

Pretty typical for many nations.... corrupt police, and only great effort by the victim's family will eventually yield prosecution.  Conviction is uncertain, and sentencing even more so.

Welcome to Trans Pulse, Bobbi.  It's nice to meet you.  I remember well all the emotions you mentioned upon starting on this journey, about 15 years ago now.  It's an exciting, albeit scary time, and there will be many questions and decisions along the way.  Any way we can help, all you need to do is ask.  We'll be here for you.   HUGS   Carolyn Marie

Everyone is their own person and has their own way of operating in the world. Being “enough” isn’t for anyone to judge, outside of maybe our closest loved ones, and definitely not those that are trying to measure themselves high by cutting others down. They know I wouldn’t succeed for very long—or at all—keeping my life bifurcated as you, but I am happy you are content with where you’re at with yourself.

My kids are grown now.  I realize I don't know the half of what they did.  But my parents didn't know the half of what I did either.  It's just how it works.   You kinda know, but please spare me the details.

@MaeBe, Good luck and best wishes on the new start in the Great Northwest. I don’t know a parent that didn’t call out their kids for being drunk or high as rebellious teenagers. I just told my teens that they can’t kid a kidder, and I was a teenager early 1970s we could drink legally at 18 so I have tons of experience spotting drunk kids.    As for the poetry, I liked it.  We never have enough support bras or tee shirts in the rotation.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Oh my @KymmieL, I’m sorry you’re on the job hunt again. They didn’t seem to be a good fit for you anyway. You deserve to be treated fairly and not undermined by competing owners who don’t communicate well.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
