Mindy I'm sorry to hear that. Take lots of care and listen to your body.

Love your positive attitude.

Feel better soon!

Please take care of yourself and give yourself time to heal. It can take awhile.  Warm humidified air can help soothe irritated bronchioles so if you have a humidifier set one up near you.

Mindy, it took me a few days to fully recover and I felt tired and weak for a few days. Hopefully you feel better soon.

Hugs,

Mike

Day 13 of my COVID-19 experience.

Good afternoon everyone,

@Gabriel@Bri2020@Erica Gabriel@Confused1 thank you for you care and input on getting better. Both Suzie and I feel much better today. There's still a nagging tickle down in my chest that causes me to cough if I try to take a deep breath. I'm ready to make an appointment for my followup COVID-19 test to see if I'm still Positive. On a sad note one of Suzie's coworkers passed away because of COVID complications. He was a young man from the shipping department. I have a couple of classmates who are hospitalized with their own battles of COVID. Suzie and I consider ourselves very lucky to apparently have had mild cases. Please pray, burn incense, light candles, or send positive energy to those who are hospitalized battling this virus, and the families who have lost loved ones. Suzie and I are healthy and getting better.

Hugs (masked)

I'm glad you're feeling better, but stay on top of it for a few more days. COVID can do a bounce thing where you start to feel better, then it piledrivers you. Stay safe sweetie!

Hugs!

Mindy, the health department here told me I was likely to test positive again for about 3 months. I had to get retested after 2 months to see a doctor who required a negative test to get in. I tested negative, so I don't know if what they told me is true or not. Still, I think I would hold off for little while before getting retested.

Hugs,

Mike

Thanks Mike, I'll check with my pharmacist tomorrow. I have a heart procedure on December 28th and I'm sure they'll want to know my COVID status.

Depends on the test. An antibody type test will show up for a while but a PCR test should be clear once virus counts are negligible.

I am not a doctor or nurse, so I don't know what test they are using. However, the test they required was the same one they did when I tested positive 2 months earlier. That is the one the health department was talking about.

Hugs,

Mike

Good evening everyone, today was Day 14 of my COVID-19 experience.

It's the first day were I can say that I'm truly on the healthy side of this infection.

Suzie and I both feel good, with only a slight tickle in the back of our throats causing an occasional cough.

Thank you for the care and concern over these past two weeks.

Congratulations to the both of you. As someone who has done the "cough your lungs out" thing... frequently... I know how unpleasant that can be. I'm glad you're both feeling better. Take care of yourselves anyway. Now there's healing to do!

Hugs!

Good evening everyone, Day 15 of my COVID-19 experience.

Today has been a restful day, my Suzie and I are feeling good, and tomorrow we'll be starting the week as a normal work week. We both feel like we're over this COVID-19 virus, and consider ourselves very blessed that it was mild cases when you compare what others have gone through. One of Suzie's coworkers passed away last week from COVID-19 complications. He was a young man in his late 40's, we pray for his family in these toughest of times.

Stay COVID aware and safe,

Mindy???

Thank you @KayC

Day 16 of my COVID-19 experience.

Today I'm working in the shop completing a training prop build. I'm taking it easy because I do feel weak from doing nothing for the last 16 days. I will say one benefit of not working in the shop for two weeks. Long damage free nails. My family isn't quite ready for me to polish them yet, however I'm thinking a nice clear coat my be in my future. Here's what I'm building. It's a MC-331 Propane/Anhydrous Ammonia transport tank for classroom training.

That's really cool, and helpful to those people who will be transporting and responsible for those tanks. Safety first, stay and be well.

I asked AI to create an image of myself 30 years younger based off my avatar on another site and this was the result:     Wow! I am amazed how close it got my 30 year old face!

Quite true.  The amusing thing about opposites is how similar they can be.   My family left Greece because of the conflict between the communists and the militarists/fascists.

This wouldn't even be a problem if they would just leave us alone.  It is a no-brainer.
    • Ivy
OMG.  I'm glad it wasn't worse, and you were able to get on it quickly.  Lots of blood can be scary.

Like I said, I'm no tankie, but I do see a world of difference between Joseph Stalin and Bernie Sanders.   If the point is not wanting 'government control' the Right is pretty good at that themselves - as they've been demonstrating lately. This stuff gets complicated.

So, I am curious. Is the Governor going to mandate vaginal or penile recognition photos before one enters the restroom? Considering the Governor has no balls to do the right thing, will he have to pee against a tree outside? Inquiring minds would like to know. I love it when the job recruiters contact me about the wonderful jobs available in Oklahoma. It is so much fun telling them there is no way I will ever go to Oklahoma. When there are no workers, then they can shutter the place.

Ngl, probably Sonic the Hedgehog, the Beatles, or the Monkees. Those are the three subjects I know the most about so I could drop hours of info on them.

Thank you! I'm out of coffee so I have been drinking hot tea instead. Looking forward to the 1st. It's crazy that we are almost in May. This year has flown by really quick! Good to hear that y'all got to sleep in. Hope you have a good weekend too!
    • Ashley0616
It's nice to care about others but you need to live your life as you please. No one be your only source of happiness. Love yourself and don't look back. I lost over 40 family members it hurts but apparently, they didn't truly love me. True love will always be there through the thick and thin. I can honestly say that HRT has made me think in ways that I never thought I would. I get myself some shoes or clothes every month because retail therapy not only helps but it is a reward to myself to show love. I have over 100 dresses. I have a whole walk-in-closet full of clothes and 67 pairs of shoes. I love who I am. I was born in 84 so not all people in the 80's think that way. As far as the name just take your time and be happy with it. I knew I loved the name Ashley. Take care and welcome!
    • Mmindy
Congratulations Sam,   The common saying her once someone starts HRT is: “Enjoy the ride.”   Best wishes, stay positive and motivated    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

WOW @Ashley0616 it’s good that you have skills to treat traumatic injuries, as well as the ability to remain calm while managing others needs to get yourself and the boys ready to go to the hospital. Proud mama bear skills. I’m glad that he’s doing well.    Meanwhile back at the ranch, we slept in and I’m just now finishing my 3rd cup of coffee.    Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well yesterday was not fun. I was getting ready to make dinner and I hear screaming and crying. I look over and my son put his foot through glass. He gashed near his Achilles tendon. Thankfully that is intact. I didn't freeze for a second. All of my military training came into play. I doctored him up and got Jett ready and myself and we headed to the ER. He is doing ok today. He says he is in pain but doesn't need Tylenol. He is a tough cookie!

Hi,   It's seems today is my trans birthday.  I'm beyond excited. Just picked up my testogel from the pharmacy. Although I naturally have doubts as I'm sure do we all, they are rapidly disappearing. Yesterday I was so nervous I kept claiming I'm not trans, despite grinning like a fool knowing I can pick up my prescription the next day. I'm shaking and on the verge of happy tears. I will put on my first sachet this eve. Thanks so much to this forum and kind words from people. This is the first forum I found when I began seriously questioning.
