I am a rather prolific writer.  I have written a lot of essays and have dabbled in "trans" fiction quite a bit.  I write because it gives me pleasure and while many of my trans essays have been published, my fiction remains in the closet.  I'd love to share some of the fictional stories I write, but almost everything I've penned, has one or two themes that probably wouldn't pass the PG-13 rules here.  Another of my concerns is I wonder  if my fictional writings would be broad enough in scope to have widespread appeal? 

 

So, I am tempted to share, but at the same time, I worry that many of my storylines could be too controversial for the light of day. I keep thinking I need to put my writing out there and let others decide if they find what I write appealing.  Maybe a self-published novel is the way to test the waters.  I know that my fiction will not appeal to everyone, but still, there may be enough of an audience, that my storylines deserve some time in the light of day.

If you are worried about some of your writings being a problem here, my suggestion is to send a preview to one of us on the Staff (Moderators  or even Admins) via PM and let us help you bring it into line here.  If you look at my post total of 20K posts here, you just might get the idea that I do a fair bit of writing myself, and the others will be the same pretty much.  Sometimes I have found in what I write that the PG version gets more attention and tells a better story than R and worse really does,  Also, we do have word filters in place that will catch a variety of things that we get complaints about, but do happen.
