I love how people's music choices, and they way they go about picking their favorites, gives clues about their personalities...a point I'm sure has been made earlier in this thread, heh. I'm pretty spazzy, and my ADHD leaks into my music, so I like big, loud indie groups with lots of instruments and vocals (Of Monsters and Men, Broken Social Scene, Florance and the Machine), and trance techno or pseudo-techno vocal groups (David Guetta, Imogen Heap, Gorrilaz). When I need to unwind, I put on acoustic artists like Bob Dylan or Ani Difranco, or maybe Bright Eyes. I hop around in jazz too. Charlie Parker might've been an --Censored--, but the dude was a GENIUS.

What's great is that so many artists today can do a range of styles. I can get simultaneously depressed, enlightened, and want to go out with friends and burn down the town- all off the same record. :)

I've been listening to Lindsey Sterling. I wonder what that says about my personality. :)

Lindsey Stirling is amazing! I love her music :)

Lindsey Stirling is simply awesome. Her music is catching on in a very big way. One of her strengths is she appeals to a wide range of people and she is down to earth.

I'll add what I'm not listening to today. Buckcherry's "Sorry" came up in my playlist... and I wasn't. I skipped forward. That time is past.

Mnozil Brass - Hungarian Schnapsodie

You can find it on Youtube - an incredible trombone performance by Zolton Kiss with the rest of the Mnozil Brass - a silly bit to watch but to just listen - WOW!

Love ya,

Sally

Big green tractor, Jason Aldean.

It's not a song that I thoroughly enjoy, but when I am listening to music to relax, this is definitely one I like to hear. It brings a smile when I listen to it :)

Hiya,

I can't stop listening to late 80's and 90's Madonna at the moment.

I had forgotten how much I love her music from that time.

Love,

Sarah.

Okay, you quote Morrison and Zappa and listen to Madonna!

Girl, you rock out loud!!

With love and listening skills,

Hi Cissy,

Okay, you quote Morrison and Zappa and listen to Madonna!

Girl, you rock out loud!!

Thank you honey, ha ha.

Your comment really did make me laugh out loud!

I have a very diverse taste in music. From Italian Opera / classical to Plan B (A UK Rap artist). I have been to a few music big festivals, such as Glastonbury (7 times) and Donnington (2 Times). I love live music and have been to many gigs, the best bands that I've seen live are the Pogues (such fun and energy) and Peter Gabriel (pure musical excellence).

I do love my girly music though. Artists such as K T Tunstall, Vanessa Carlton, Tori Amos, Paloma Faith, Katy Perry, Madonna, Rihanna, Beyonce, Alanis Morissette and Amy MacDonald are my favourites. I even like some of the girl groups such as the Sugababes, The Saturdays and Girls Aloud. Ha ha.

I just think that if music is good, then it's just good and I enjoy it for what it is.

Although, there is one type of music I don't really like and that's hardcore electronic dance music.

Love,

Sarah.

O wow, I'm listening to trance dance/electronic stuff right now.

As to bands, I grew up in the 60's and Morrison was God! I loved Zappa, the Dead, 10 Years After, Hendrix, Cream, etc. In fact, I saw Zappa & the Mothers twice. The second time was when he toured with Flo & Eddie after their White Album came (Happy Together!)

The best concert that I ever attended was at the Newport Jazz Festival. (My home town, by the way.) I saw 10 Years After, Jeff Beck with Rod Stewart singing, Blood, Sweat, & Tears, & Jethro Tull.

This was in the Spring of '69, it was an outdoor concert, and for a really great seat I paid $7.50!

Since (though mostly back in the Day) I've seen Three Dog Night, The Grateful Dead (right after they released 'Working Man's Dead' and Pigpen was still their singer,) C.S.N.&Y., Fleetwood Mac, Dylan (of course,) The Doobie Bros., Fairport Convention (had dinner with them!,) Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Kings of Leon, a great band out of Canada called Blue Rodeo, Earl Scruggs and his family (hung out with them) etc., etc., etc.

Actually had tickets to a Doors concert in my hand and it was cancelled after that mess in Florida.

In High School I played organ and sang in several bands. Always wished I'd seen Lee Michaels when his career was still going on,

Anyway, back to the techno.!

With love and rhythm

Cissy

Heck I didn't even know they could go up that high! I just have a four burner and one to keep stuff warm. What kind of pies did you make?

I'm sure you'd rock it, girl!

That's all the matters.   Well me and the wife rode to Perkins for breakfast. As we were waiting for our food. Being it is Sunday There are a few gentleman in suits, my guess from church. I think to myself. I hope I never have to wear one of those monkey suits ever again. Now a nice dress maybe.   Hugs,   Kymmie

From time to time I've looked at 'Who Is Online" and I have consistently noticed that members are ALWAYS outnumbered by Guests by a wide margin, sometimes, like a minute ago, by more than a 10:1 margin.  I have never seen that before on an internet forum.  It can be explained partly by the nature of what this is, that it draws the curious and they are certainly welcome to read here, and to join, but it leaves me with a feeling of being in a fishbowl.  I wonder who ARE these people?  Donald Trump, is that you? Biden? Sinwar? Putin?  We can only guess.

So from time to time my brain gets a hold of information and puts it together with other information in weird way that get me thinking. I was reading about a nudes cruise that they are running out if Miami. It got me thinking that a transgendered person who is also a naturalist, has to be one of the most unlucky people alive. How does one manage that and does that ever come up? Not trying to make fun here, just genuinely curious. Things that make you go hmmmm....

No luck there, really. She's getting a signing bonus plus a little extra that I don't think would cover much in the way of the move, but it is something!   Oh my! I am glad to hear you're not passing anymore blood. I hope they figure it out soon! How distressing!   @April Marie @KymmieL @Mirrabooka @Willow @Justine76, thank you for the kind words and thoughts! We told our best friends last night. There were many tears. Now it's all about the work: selling the house (my wife's friend's son said he may want to buy it direct!), a job (a former employee of mine wants to bring me over to his company--and they're based outside of Tacoma!), and moving (just started going through what we don't want bring and donating things). So things have kicked off.   I'm not so sure of the job, it would be good to work with my former employee (he's great) but I fear the culture may not be super welcoming to someone like me--and the guy doesn't know I'm trans in any way. But I'll give it a shot as my authentic self and see what happens!

@LadypcnjI'm sorry. I know the feeling my mom thinks I'm going through a phase too although I didn't come out till April 17, 2023, so it was later in life. I was in denial majority of my life. I would love to hear more about this if you are comfortable sharing more of it.

I love fashion. I have over 100 dresses and 74 pairs of shoes. My walk-in closet is full of other clothes as well. I'm getting more shorts soon. SHEIN is awesome for quality and price. Just when you get a leather coat from them it's just the shell not the liner. Most of my shoes are from Torrid because I wear size 13 women's.

Unfortunately Oklahoma is about as bad as Texas but definitely not as bad as Florida. Especially as a minor!

I'm sorry @Ladypcnj I can only sympathize with you on that. Therapist on the other hand is crazy. I have had 16 in 10 years. It sucks having to have to go over things. I will say though after 6 therapists I didn't have to explain my history they simply read the history.

I followed you and will give you my advice when I can. It has happened to me a lot too. If you want to you can always message me and I'll get back to you ASAP. I understand your concerns.
