I dress when it feels right... sometimes i go for weeks without it, but sooner or later i'm all dressed up again, even if its only for a sneaky minute!

I dress as often as I can some times once or twice a week. Often for for weeks at a time not at all . But the urge is always there .Would like to dress more often if I could.

I can identify with you. I sometimes don't feel the need for a few days, but then the "itch" starts and I have to "scratch". I am comfortable as a male, but I haven't as yet gone fully en femme. My work does not allow me to do it every day, but I have adopted a lot of things which are perhaps feminine, but close enough to avoid it being too obvious - for example, I wear my wedding ring on my left hand as well as another quite large ring on my right hand - a bit like the continental fashion, My shirts are perhaps not quite what a hypermasculine male would choose, and so on. But I suspect it is going to become more frequent in the near future.

Right now it's only at lunch time and on weekends when my wife works and my son goes to a freinds house for the day. A few years ago my wife went to a wedding and took our son with her. That left me alone for a whole week! I wish I'd had the collection I have now back then. That would have been nice.

At the moment I can only (under) dress 3 days a week as my SO is still coming to terms with things. However, I am able to wear quite padded bras and nail vanish.

Just I am slowly beginning to find myself looking forward to these 3 days more and more. Each time feeling more and more relaxed and content. Which seems almost odd at times, as I don't feel like many MtoF's have expressed. Yet for a long time I've wanted to feel fully female, which makes me feel a little confused at times.

Hugs thanks for reading

Sarah :)

I used to be like that Peta. But I ntoiced the more I supressed the fem side the less I was interested in intimacy with my wife. Things got pretty bad for us and finaly I accepted what the truth was, Rochelle needs to come out to play if I wans Scott to be interested in intimacy. It seems the two are linked somehow and separating them is all but imposible.

Now that I have my own clothes for dressing I feel a lot less guilt over it. Let yourself go more often and you will feel a lot better about you.

Thanks for sharing! But I'm not quite there yet. I haven't even started thinking about a name for my (other) self.

Peta, right now I am doing a teleconferance from home for work. I snuck home early and got dressed. I'm wearing a white long sleved v neck streatchy shirt (shows off the girls real nice) a brown pencil skirt, suntan hose and a pair of medium heel brown pumps. I've got makeup on and some of my jewlery. I get 2 hours of bliss while learning about Alarmlocks latest product. Very neat.

Find your moments and let yourself fell the pleasure of your fem side. We spend too much time lying to ourselves and others. A hour or two of honesty with yourself is priceless.

I may change the shoes though, I just got them yesterday and I think they are a bit too tight. Even though they look fabulous with the skirt.

MsGsptlsnz, it sounds like you're having fun. I just came out to my gf a few days ago, so I'm taking it slow. I'm guessing that we, both my gf and I, will have to figure out how often I'm going to dress, as we get used to the idea. It's all new to us.

I hope you two can make it work. It will give me hope that my wife and I can make it work. She wants me to grow all my hair back... Ick. I like being smooth. She wants her fuzzy guy back...

But then we've got 13 years togather the I suddenly changed on her.

Hi hon,

I know that I am very late to this topic. I only just saw this now. Hon, whenever you feel the need to crossdress is OK :)

I crossdress every day, but that is just my need, not yours. If you crossdress occasionally that is OK!

Don't doubt yourself hon, just know that you are OK and just be yourself.

Love.

I dress when I feel like it or when I feel like going out. I do it for fun and when it doesn't feel like fun, I don't bother with it. I can do it daily (outside of the work office) or not bother with it for months.

Welcome to the closet! As I've said on other threads,we need to get a contractor in here to knock out a few walls and make it a walk in closet because there are so many of us here.

I have gone out to stores every once in a while and got mixed results

I am looking for the nerve and guidance to go out fully dresed

I shop in male mode for fem garments all the time. Mostly second hand and consignment stores. I don't want to spend a lot on clothes I wear in private. Having said that Walmart is a wonderful place with the self checkout lanes. I get most of my undergarments there because it's hard to find them in my size at Salvation Army.

I'm working up the nerve too. I think Halloween will be my first time out. I am practicing with makeup to get it down to where I odn't look like I was mugged by clowns. I think I am getting close. Eye makeup and the proper tint of blush is all that I need to figure out. I've got a victorian outfit all togather that rocks. Well, I need boots for it still. My size ten boots are ripping at the seams so I need some 11's in something Victorian or at least timeless...

I have been studying the way we identify gender and I think the most important thing is the first impression. If a person tags you as female from across the room then when they get close they will likley keep that tag unless something painfully obvious gives you away and forces them to re-assess their initial decison. I think the two most important things to get down are hair and clothes. A feminine hairdoo followed by a well put togather outfit along with the right bling will get the all important first impression of female. Then as long as your makeup doesn't look like a 3 year old put it on you, facial hair is properly dealt with, your hands don't look rough and the adams apple isn't bobbing in their face you will stay female in their mind. Voice needs to be worked on if you plan on interacting with people much, not sure how to advise you on that. I can pull off a passable female voice but I can't explain how I do it. Lastly body language is important. You can't sit with your legs spread wide, grunting and farting if you want to keep them seeing you as female.

Three things to start doing now. Skin care. Exfoliate EVERYWHERE you expect to show skin. Then lotion with a good moisturizing formula. After a short while your skin will be soft and smooth which is vital. Second practice makeup. It's a lot harder than it looks. Pay attention to womens faces and get an idea of how they do it. Thirdly get the body language down. How women walk, move, sit, laugh, etc...

Once you have those down then start thinking about the outfit to wear in public. I've got a black cotton skirt and white cotton top with long sleves that will be the base of my mall walk outfit when I get the courage up. Still not sure if I will go with a patterned stocking or simple sheer hose. Also not sure on heels for outings. I am six foot one so my prefered 4 inch stillettos for home use may not be a great idea in public. I'm looking for the perfect black pump in a two inch heel to complete the outfit. Maybe I will go with a wedge. I've got some bling but I need more, earings being a gap in my collection.

I would dress every couple of days if I could. Unfortunately I'm just not able. The amount you feel like you need to dress is the correct amount. There is no wrong answer.

No set time intervals for me for dressing.

Currently once a month but I have dressed daily when the feeling has struck.

It depends on what I'm doing around the house.

Also depends on the time of year, for some reason. Winters are usually cold and dark so I tend to spend more time dressing then and relaxing in front of a fire.

On most days for a few minutes at least, when my wife is not at home; at least tights and heels. It is still novel for me, so as often as possible. But it is affecting my sleep since I think about the next morning before I go to sleep the night before.

My dressing varies in recent months it been every three weeks on days my wife is out of the house, but I have recently started buying some new clothes, I have purged a lot over the years, but I have managed to rein it and not throw clothes away. . I would really like to build up my wardrobe but its a bit awkward as I dont want my wife to know I am dressing up again. She caught me once, she was a bit upset but not as bad as I thought she did listen to me and was understanding under the cirumstances.

Hi all

I am always dressed when i am at home i have more girl cloths than drab my wife is ok with me dressing. When i go out in my male mode i am always underdressed in panties, bra. top nice girl jeans and a man's shirt or coat on so you can say i am always dressed.

My job has me in male mode most if the time I drive long hall trucking. But most of the time driving i am in a skirt or dress it only when i am loading or unloading i am in full male mode. I would love to live 24/7 but i live in a small town and people in town would hassle my wife so i am in half male mode when i go to town.

Dee.

Of course we do.  The few friends I do have are almost exclusively cis or trans women. I think I could have a relationship with a man, but he would be kinda "other" to me.  Could be interesting though. I never have understood guys - even when I was trying to be one.

Our government is huge and could, and probably should, be streamlined. But we are living in 2024, and not the late 18th century.  The founders did provide for updating the Sacred Constitution.  And it has been done on occasion.   There is a lot going on, and I don't want to be a single issue voter.  But I feel that it is being forced on me as a matter of my survival.

Many women my age wear their hair super-short, and I don't really have a need to have it long.  Longer in places where I can't grow it, if it is long  No aspirations to be a supermodel here.  The mustache would have to go before the wig comes if I ever did that.  I am threading a narrow path.

Not all evangelicals condemn people for being trans.  Some evangelicals are even trans.   He can pray for you all he wants, that is fine.  I will personally take all the prayer I can get.   It sounds like he has been reading or listening to John McArthur or the SBC.  Not much you can do. Pray for him.

It'll come in waves with hormones. I have noticed that when I apply a fresh patch and the next day comes I feel euphoric and towards the end I feel really bad and dysphoria kicks in. I still feel body dysmorphia of what I have and can't wait till SRS

"entries from “citizens who have changed their gender” will not be considered"   Considering that trans people don't "change their gender" but rather may or may not transition to some extent to affirm their gender, this rule seems superfluous.

They make supplements for hair growth I have been using one for four months and it is now at 6" long when I had nothing before. Although I take more than the pills. I take growth spray, oil, and a supplement that is added to a drink. My hair is very healthy. Unfortunately it's very curly so it'll take longer to grow

That's a toughy to say. But I do know that it's an area for improvement with me. I can get pretty down on myself sometimes. I guess I have to remember that I'm human just like everyone else, not perfect. And that's okay.   Lots of love, Timber Wolf 🐾🪻

Good morning    On this date in 1972 it was a Saturday. I  made a pledge to love and honor my wife and keep her forsaking all others.  I have kept those vows and here we are celebrating our 52nd anniversary still together.  Still caring for each other through sickness and in health.  Still sharing our lives.   Other than that, it’s another day near the beach.  80 and mostly sunny.     I found a ‘17 GMC Acadia yesterday I want to take a look at.  It’s a bit more than I wanted to spend but it’s doable. Only 69k miles on it, with the low mileage I put on cars these days it probably won’t ever hit 100k if I do beget it.  Low mileage now is  likely because it was a leased car at some point. Those usually get pretty good care and not a lot of miles.  It would be similar in size to my Ford, 7 passenger seating but a more basic trim which is fine.  It only has a 4 cyl engine so potentially rather under powered for a relatively large SUV.  The ford has a 4.0liter 6 which is a bit large for cars these days.  Instead of full time all wheel drive, it apparently has 4 modes, 2, 4, sport (what ever that is, I presume it’s over drive turned off) and anti slip.  It’s probably not going to happen but I am keeping my eyes open for a good deal. The old Ford is just that, an old worn out Ford.  Since I bought the Ford I’ve only put about 10k miles on it in 6 years.  My daughter once had an Acadia, top trim package.  When she was driving back and forth to work close to 100 miles per day and going to Philadelphia every week another 500 or more.  For her the miles added up fast.   still keeping my eyes open.  This is about the right age and size but I was hoping to spend about $2000 less.   Other than that I hope to meet with my minister today about paper topics for my class submission.   Other than that Monday is laundry day so I’ll be doing several loads of laundry today.     I put on a neutral gel nail polish last night.  I tried this before, however, I don’t believe I correctly understood the how to get a good result so I was more careful this time.  All I want it’s to give my bpfinger nails enough strength to grow out just a little and stop tearing.   Well, I need to call to make an urology appointment.   @Birdiei was born in Ohio and until Lamda Legal sued them you could not get a sex change on a birth certificate for any reason.  Now you can.  In South Carolina a name change requires $300 and a form filled out and filed with the clerk of courts.  But a gender change requires a birth certificate with the new gender listed.  I am hoping they will permit gender X eventually but right now the state is too Red to do any such thing.   Willow
