Thank you all, I am sorry I have been away some time and haven't had a chance to log on to this site. I have been spending so much father-daughter time with my father lately. The past week has been crazy but so fun and full of happiness . My father told me not to ever think that he feels sad in any way shape or form. He said he is very happy and looks at it like he has two children from the same person. He knew me as a "son," now he will get to know me as a daughter. Plus he is very happy that he sees me finally smiling and laughing

I went with my father to pick up his fiance at the airport on Tuesday. When she arrived, my father introduced me as Jade. She was a bit taken aback that my father would bring a young girl with him to greet her at the airport. She then asked where Minhkhoi (my Vietnamese name) was. The look on her face when he told her that "Jade" is "Minhkhoi" made me worried that she would hate me now (he didn't tell her about my new life it seems lol).

But all that worry was for naught. When we returned home, I went back to my apartment to take my roomies to go grocery shopping and then go back to my fathers house for the next two weeks. He asked me to stay there for a bit and keep her company so she doesn't feel lonely. While I was gone, he explained the whole situation to her and she is fine with it. Now, all 3 of us are so close and one big happy family . I may end up staying here a bit longer than the planned two weeks lol!
