Thanks. Today is better, but now the stress of yesterday has caused her pancreas to flare up. ?

Probably end up at hospital today.

So sorry to hear about your turn. This will probably sound like an idiotic cliche, but try not to worry. It does more harm than good. But you already know that! Anyway look for little things that bring peace of mind.

Well, the weather has me up tonight.  I got some sleep, but now it’s pretty bad out there.  Wind clocking 30 plus.  Gusts higher.  Steady rain.  Generally the boat is dealing with it ok.  I don’t know if any loose items are moving or blown into the water.  I also don’t know if my enclosure is surviving.

I found a tiny water leak.  More like a place the water is blowing in past 5he gasket on a hatch.  It does rock when a wind gust hits if, but my lines are secure.

@RhondaS congratulations on the waitress referring to you as ladies.  That really helps make your day.  Also that your Wife was okay with it.

I've been out with my wife on many occasions and loved it when we were called ladies,  and even had men call me mam.

It is a wonderful feeling.

As far as the 1 year march to freedom, well, I'm out of that march now so I have no comment on that one.

I am how ever marching to the beat of another drum.

Oh yeah, the one year march, If I was still in that march and my counselor denied me because I showed up one day in blue jeans, flannel shirt and work boots I would point out my wife in blue jeans, flannel shirt and boots and ask, are you telling me she is not a woman also?

High tide. Road is flooded, parking lot is flooded, that will continue until the off shore storm moves out and the king tide ends.  Still windy today but not nearly as bad as it had been.

even though I’m just sitting on the boat I did my makeup today.  If nothing else, practice.

one more thing to do on my engine before I try to start it.  I want to make sure everything goes smoothly.  I won’t run it more than a few minutes the first time. Then reinspect everything.  If all is good, I’ll do it again with a longer running time.  There is a lot of things that can go wrong with a marine Diesel engine.  I already lost one to oil issues, I can’t afford to lose another.

cooling water pump drawing water

exhaust expelling water

coolant

oil

trans oil

fuel

exhaust leaks

Everything has to be primed, nothing can be run dry.  I have cooling water into the strainer

i have fuel to the water separator first filter. But that’s not enough, I have to get it to the lift pump and then the injection pump.

batteries are all charged

guess we will soon see what needs tweaking.

Wow, all that for a boat? The Skipper would of told Gilligan we don't need to do all of that...

and they got a T.V.show.

A TV show, a guy who could make a nuclear reactor out of a pair of coconuts, a pair of hotties and an island retreat, just for them. Also occasional celebrity guests. There are worse fates.

Hugs!

The thing is I don’t want to end up on a secluded island with a ruined boat.  Hence I’m taking it slow and crossing my Ts and dotting my Is.

oh and the first test was a fail. Apparently a wire to the control panel isn’t right.  No power back to the starter solenoid.  Hmm.  Logically, no power/blown fuse, wire misconnected or not connected.

Why does this make me want to laugh?  I feel like it shouldn't, like it's really serious, but it feels like an in-joke that only we would get...

If only I had trans oil, everything in my life would run much more smoothly!

Picked up another pair of shoes at Meijer (bless them and Wally for consistently having larger women's sizes in stock) in the perpetual search for the perfect pair of cute, everyday shoes (that aren't tennies) and this particular brand the box explicitly says "Shoes Made For Women".

To further emphasize the point, the logo was in pink and the shoes inside had pink trim.

So that pretty much settles it. They fit me perfect, so obviously:

I am a woman!

Yay!

I think this will be helpful in the future if/when I may be interrogated to prove my gender.

I love this. There is a Meijer about 30 miles from here. I will have to check them out. I wear size 12 in women's shoes. Thanks for the tip ?

Today I received three bras I ordered from Pepper. I’ve been wearing Sports Bras for the past year and these are the first “proper” bras I’ve had. The quality seems pretty good and their sizing/fitting guidelines are dead on. My girls are happy ?

Yesterday I got a sports bra to do guy mode better and putting it on makes me want to do guy mode even less (before anyone asks, it's for in person work that's still sporadic and distanced)

I shop at a Meijer all the time. I have looked at their shoes and clothing more then once but have concerns (although I know women's clothing isn't known for it's durability) about the quality.

Good morning

sun is out, wind has died down, but it’s cold for here, 41!

ok jokes on me!  I’m glad I got a happy time movement.  But next time I will call it by its actual type name, ATF.  Now figure out how that works into a joke about us and I’ll congratulate you and ask if you were ever a comedian.

got a long email from my son yesterday.  It took me three emails back to answer all his questions.  I intentionally broke it up.  We will see what I get back if anything.  I kind of laid the whole thing out pretty detailed about me having gender dysphoria and there’s nothing I can do about it.  I told him things that here to fore, only my therapist knew, not even my wife knows.  The Only family member that has disowned me is my daughter but that wasn’t over being transgender.

well the hospital just sent me a pre-registration request so I best get to it.

Hugs

Good Morning all. Hope you ladies are all well.

Another night of below freezing temps but considering time of year it is to be expected sooner or later.

I don't post too often but too many positive things have been happening I want to share with someone.

Met with my endocrinologist and came away with my prescription to start Estradiol patches. I have been on Spiro for 8 months so T was well down. October 21st Joni was born with her first dose. ?

I started on October 25th, full facial laser treatment to rid myself of any dark hairs remaining, which proved out by techs estimate to be 65- 70 of the facial hair. Lot more than I suspected. She estimates 6 - 1 hour treatments to rid all remaining in all growth stages.

This past Friday, Nov. 5th, I submitted to Provincial Vital Statistics paper work to have my name and gender changed as well as receive a NEW birth certificate. This will allow me to further change name and gender to all other Government agencies - Medicare, Motor Vehicle, etc.. as well as  all other institutions as needed.

Can you say Over the Moon Happy.

Have a Great Day all.

Great Big Canadian Hug to All

Joni Steph

Ooh, I'm going in for an honest-to-Goddess fitting today. I had a friend turn me onto a good place the next town over. Wish me luck!

Yes you are right, not much cotton in clothing or leather in shoes for sure.

@Jamie68And to clarify, I usually wear a women's 10, and the largest I have seen in these stores are 11.

Hey all, been on estrogen monotherapy for about two months. Man, I am just tired all the time. I feel like I have a low-level cold. Hard to get out of bed in the mornings. Even when I get in a good 8-9 hours sleep. Just have the blahs. Leg muscles are sore, like I ran all day...   There are a lot of other potential factors. I drink way too much caffeine (though I have always done that and not always felt this tired). I tend to stay up late on nights when I have to get up early the next morning. Not enough exercise. Have some thyroid issues, though I thought I had those back within normal ranges. Possible low potassium levels.   I realize no one here is a medical pro, per say, just curious if it is in others' experience to feel extreme fatigue for a season when starting HRT. This is one of the reasons I chose not to do spiro, is that I read it could cause lethargy and fatigue and make you pee all the time (I am having those issues too), but I am having a hard time with these effects anyways.   I suspect my T was low before I even started HRT (just by observing how the, err, equipment, hasn't functioned so robustly over the past few years)... Maybe my body isn't sure who is in charge right now in terms of hormones since a new sheriff has arrived but only in minor quantities at this point... thanks again!   EasyE

I relate to a lot of this ... in my 50s now ... never really questioned my body but have always been fascinated with girl stuff (and loved that I had two daughters because it gave me an excuse to explore the feminine world more)...   I like how you said this: "When I dared to take another peek inside, my egg cracked big time." Yep ... yep ... yep...

Sorry to hear you lost both your parents young. My dad died from a heart attack when I was 10. My mom died a few years ago. I never came out, truly, to either of them, about my gender identity. On one hand it is freeing, not having to deal with “what would they think or feel about me now” but on the other hand, I wish they had truly known.

This is fantastic, We're adding a Boxer to our family sometime this evening or tomorrow. His name is Parker. We'll be crate training him as well as introducing him to two cats that have never been around a dog.   Pictures to follow later,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I still don't understand how any queer people can vote for these people.  I'll just leave it at that.

Thanks Kathy!    Some place where the peer pressure is to dress more feminine instead of less.  Imagine that. I haven't left the house in fem clothing since an outing to a local LGBT club over 15 years ago.   She's also pointed me to some support groups so that's next as well.     And for those who noticed, yes, I committed a rather egregious grammatical error in my post, but I couldn't figure out how to edit it.  That stuff bugs me to death. Geez Louise .
    • Ivy
Just more of the same.  Unfortunately, I'm coming to expect it.

Everybody doesn't feel this way. As a AMAB child (in the 50's) I don't think I questioned my body, but I was quite fascinated with girl stuff.  When puberty hit I really wished I was a girl - but alas - I was stuck living as a guy.  As an adult I had pretty bad  homophobia, which was probably internalized transphobia, but I didn't really know what transgender was at the time.  And by then I was locked into a marriage and family. I lived like that for most of my life, and convinced myself (but not my wife) that I was happy.  When we were in our 60's, the marriage fell apart.  And I believe a large part of that was me resisting my feminine self.  When I no longer had to live up to being a man, I dared to take another peek inside, and my egg cracked big time. I still don't think I was "born in the wrong body."  Maybe it just needed a little tweaking. I think our "gender" is an internal thing.   I don't regret having lived so long trying to be a guy.  But if I could have transitioned as a child it would have been awesome.

Said it is possibly ptsd and anxiety, wants a second opinion.

@Adrianna DanielleSeeing two different therapist for separate issues really helped me deal with the each of them on different levels. I hope this works for you too.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
